Getting In Sync

John: The dream I described yesterday (see A Bad Scene), continues a theme of learning to recognize how a certain inner energetic works. It’s been a theme for quite a while now, and reflects some issues I’m going through in my life. The fundamental message being shown to me is this: sometimes it’s better to hold an energetic, than it is to take an action.

I have a problem with that. It’s not only a trait of the masculine to want to solve everything through action, but it’s a strong aspect in my personal “nature.” Whenever any issue in life presses upon me, I’ve always wanted to deal with it in an A, B, C way – first do this, then this, etc.

I’m being shown here that this is not always a good process for me. It disconnects me from the flow of things. To be in the flow, I need to involve the kundalini energy, which can connect me vibrationally to “matter” – it’s my energetic connection to physical life. It can align me with the natural synchronicity of things, because my holding of the energetic allows the inner dialogue to guide me. This is an energetic that can affect, touch, and even impact matter.

It is easy in this world to think that we always need to be doing something, or acting in a certain way, or controlling events somehow. But that’s not really the way of it. This world, and this universe, is connected energetically. When we feel ourselves separate from that, we are disconnecting ourselves from the natural energetic flow.

But it’s not about not doing anything, it’s about doing what the flow of energy needs and requires from us. To understand what that is, we need to be quieter inside, we need to build our inner connections, and we need to hold those connections as the fundamental guidance for our goings-on in life.

In the dream, the friend who arrives to help, at two different points in the imagery, depicts this idea. He represents the synchronicity. And both times I refuse the help. Both times I stubbornly think that I must do it on my own.

That’s a trap that’s so easy to fall into – thinking we act alone. When we are energetically disconnected from life, we do act alone, and that can be a very hit-and-miss proposition. When we honor our natural connections – from the inner to the outer – we then exist within the fabric of the universe, so to speak. We are part of the flow.

So being aligned with the kundalini energy is a shift to higher energy. If we slow ourselves down, we can actually become speeded up through the kundalini energy. Then we can hear the shifts that we are meant to follow. That’s what opens up synchronicity.

When we catch up with that higher energetic, it changes everything. Everything around us, including the people we run into, all come into cohesion. So, we can’t try too hard. It’s not always a matter of going straight up and over the mountain – we see the truck in the dream get stuck. Sometimes going around the hill is the most efficient way.

What I am being shown is that I must stop and recognize the help and guidance I’m being given. I have to shift to the energetic that is in things, as opposed to trying to influence things myself. This requires an ability to relate energetically, not verbally.

The dialogue of the inner remains there on the energetic level. The challenge is to keep the communication open, vibrationally, and that requires inner recognition of it. We have all intuitively known or have experienced this inner guidance at times in our lives. The trick is to take it to a point of trust and linkage where that is all there is.

When we have that, everything around us accommodates that and changes in relationship to that. We will not appear any different from anyone else, but we will be experiencing life at a whole new level.
