John: In yesterday’s dream, we were discussing the idea of listening inside for information on how to proceed (see Due Diligence). Normally we are in reaction mode to our circumstances and our surroundings. Being in a physical body and raised in this culture, I think that reactivity just comes with the territory – we’ve become programmed to solve issues in the way we’ve always solved them.
But Creation seeks more from the human. We are meant to experience this life in a physical body, yet within that look to the Creator and connect with that. That requires an openness to listen to what is trying to guide us – from the inside. It may come from Creation, but it must come through us to be realized; we act as the medium through which Creation potential can be actualized in physical reality.
Instead, most of us are influenced by our senses which then trigger an outplay of established patterns. In this way we make our life experience personal to us – viewed only from our perspective. And our reactions and patterns create a noise within us that prevents us from hearing and connecting with the Divine. But to understand, and agree, that there is a Creator, requires us to see our life, any human life, from the perspective of Creation.
And Creation wants us to work with it – toward the purposes and evolution of its design. Put simply, that means we need to settle back and wait to get the memo that can come, through us, from this other place that carries more of the majesty of life from the Creator.
So in the dream, I’m being pushed by a reaction from Creation (feminine). How that coincides with the Divine Will has yet to be determined by me. A closeness is being sought, but is this closeness truly sincere, or does it fail to take into account an even greater knowingness that has not yet made itself known?
When a person gets too acclimated to a situation, feeling as if they have figured something out, or caught up with something in terms of where they are or how they are, then they become caught within an element of life with its own peculiarities. We are not intended, or meant, to be defined like that.
We’re here at the behest of something deeper inside that’s meant to open up and be receptive to something new, but that insight has gotten lost. Everyone feels sure that they carry a certain balance in their life and that it progresses in a linear way. And that may serve them in their work life or daily life, but it doesn’t mean they’ve gained any acuity with the Creator side of life.
So I can’t help but think, “I wonder what it would be like if, in the way this world’s unfolding, that suddenly a wildcard – a great change – were tossed in, and people started to get unhinged or confused by the changes to their inner life?”
A lot of people might have the dexterity and composure to be just fine, but it will still be a test. There is something that needs to happen at a different level, and who is sitting there, ready, at that level?
It seems like there’s actually a perception that needs to open up in terms of this coming from within, and that what we now do on a daily basis to live our lives has been made the primary importance, when it’s really secondary. That’s a huge change in perspective, but one that is pressing upon us all in these times.
