Energy-Flow-Mark-HansenThe concept of “raw energy” in a dream points to something that has awakened, or been confronted, that hasn’t been fully handled yet. In this dream, Jeane confronts raw energy in the form of a werewolf outside the door, and the drunken delirium of a masculine energy, both of which she is trying to link together, within herself, in order to grow. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So the dream I had last night, the main dream, it feels like I’m living somewhere where my boyfriend has come back to visit around Christmastime. I think he comes in and even lies down on the floor.

My boyfriend looks like a combination of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. He’s a country singer of some kind. And he’s been sober; I don’t know whether he stayed sober. But he seems sober, and I think he’s stayed sober, and I’m pleased with that.

He’s come in the wintertime, and the only problem with that is that somewhere out on the outdoors of the area where there’s lots of snow and stuff, because it seems like it’s a large cabin, I know there’s a werewolf, so you have to be careful when you go out at night right now, and you go out in the snow and you have to take a sled and travel to wherever you go.

He comes to visit, and there’s another woman and me, and then there’s another woman about my age who seems to be fawning around him. You can tell she’d kind of like him for a boyfriend and I’m kind of brushing her aside. I’m focused on the fact we’re going to have a party in another day or two and it’s Christmas, and I know one time I’m even climbing a ladder up to a little shelf, that’s almost like a little loft, to get my Christmas present for him.

And then I realize I’m not sure how he does Christmas presents, but I have to go ahead and just do presents however I do regardless of how he does them. I’m thinking through that process. The girl that was kind of hovering around, who I knew was interested in him, seems to have left, and I’ve decided to just not deal with her in a way, but I am still concerned that if we have to go out to a party or something there’s still the werewolf out there.

Plus he’s left for awhile and he’s coming back, and I’m debating about… I’d like to know whether he stayed sober or not, because if he started drinking again that could be a problem. I haven’t really seen any evidence one way or the other, so I’m kind of giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I also know there’s a point where I go over and I have to let the dogs out, and I seem to have some Basenjis again, and it seems like when I let one dog out… no, it’s like I go to the door to let some people in, that was it, and the dogs get out. I’d maybe kept back one of the eldest dogs.

But when I go to get the other dog that one gets loose, and now they are all out, and then I have to call them to see if I can actually get them to come back in, and come to me, because dogs get a little willful when they get out the door. But they seem to come back in, and maybe I have to go out and get them.

Everything around the house seems okay, but my only trepidation is if I have to travel somewhere by sled, then I want a rifle because I’m not sure what’s going on with the werewolves still. That’s about all I remember of the dream.

John: This is a dream that is challenging your development in terms of a certain level of refinement. It’s amazing these dreams are actually linked, two days apart, because the dream before had to do with you going back and picking up a particular quality that you now had the ability to pick up (see Self-Storage).

And so then this dream is showing your propensity, upon which you have to work in the dense outer world, that you have developed a particular kind of refinement in yourself already, but in order for you to go forward you’re confronted with having, and are drawn into having, to take on something that’s like a raw energy, or a density, that you now have to bring that on in order to grow.

It reminds me, as a side diversion, of how things were in an ashram once where they developed a certain refinement to the point that they shut off their involvement in the outer world to such a degree that every little thing bugged them, and worried them, and caused them stress, so that they were like sickies because they were too refined, off to one side, and therefore too absolved, or had pushed too much of the functionality of the world away from them, as if they could go into more of a transcendent experience and less of an eminent experience.

Now, we’re talking about a certain kind of eminent experience here. We’re talking about an eminent experience that deals with traits and characteristics that are like raw energy.

In other words, you have this guy, and you are drawn to that for some reason in order to take a step. In other words, your refinement now is limited, in that you now need to be able to put it into an action that more or less takes it into a blackboard of something in life. So that blackboard is this raw energy quality.

And in your world out there that you have been able to absolve, or move yourself away from, you have this drunken trait, which is nothing more than to say that you’re dealing with the raw energy that has a certain kind of delirium about it that is stuck and constantly wayward.

Plus you’re dealing with another danger, and the idea that if you go out that there is the werewolf, and the linkage that you need to make this time is represented by the dogs that go outside of the house. When you open the door to greet something, or to try to deal with something in the outer, that the linkage point, the friends, the quality, is these dogs that go out.

In other words, the dogs represent something where you have… they’re inside of the house and they generally stay inside of the house, which is a little unnatural for them, and you pacify the situation with them inside of the house. But the dogs are more natural to be out in the yard, to be out, and when you open the door you have to contend with three things.

You have to let a part of yourself reach out, which is the quality of you that can still connect, and has an alignment, and has all of these traits which can take and touch dense energy in the outer. And in the outer, that dense energy is such that it’s going to be a bit in a delirium. It can mean well but can get all twisted and distraught – the drunken quality.

Plus it carries a certain ominousness, or there’s a certain reactionariness that is in the idea of a werewolf. And so you’re having to take all of that on. So one sits and ponders, okay, what’s the werewolf of the nature that you’re contending with now?

In other words, what is the thing that sits and echoes like a werewolf energy inside of you, as you approach or feel something in the outer world? That could be the idea that maybe my driving is too fast and you can get into an accident or something, is like a werewolf, oh, there’s a vibe in there that maybe is like the werewolf, and also the drunken condition where I could be forgetful and not know whether it’s this, that, or the other, and how do you handle that?

How do you absorb that? In other words, you have to be in creation, and you have to take your particular way of being, you have to link it, and you’re drawn to having to do that. You cannot not do that. The other dream depicted that you have an energetic, or magnetism, that is drawn in that capacity. You can’t purge that, because it’s not meant to be purged.

You’re meant to take all of that into a greater alignment of yourself, because you have, as indicated in the first dream, you have refined something inside of you to the point where now you have to bring in more of the other to show that you have the capacity, and the growth, and the understanding to be able to carry that, and handle that, and be with that in a greater Wholeness of yourself.

Maybe at some particular point in time that you fractured, or cracked, or it was too much, or shattered in some capacity, or got neurotic in some mannerism, and so one sits and wonders okay, what’s bringing on dreams like this?

Well, one of the things that could be bringing on a dream like this is one is sitting and looking at their blood pressure, and their heartbeat, and all of that sort of stuff, and you don’t maintain a state of health in terms of even the vibrancy of the density of the body, if you don’t maintain a certain engagement in things, and you become weakened by the idea that you’re protecting yourself in some way.

Perhaps that, in a subtle way, helped to bring a dream like this on, because now you’re finding yourself having to recognize that, by choice, and by purpose, and as part of inner and outer, because this trait comes from the outer – this quality of this guy comes from the outer, and the werewolf is in the outer – and from inner you’re the dogs that you have over-pacified, can go out.

From inner into outer, you’re having to make this greater connection, and then putting it together with the other dream, because this is the only way you’re going to be able to grow now, is that you have to do this. You then find that which you set aside, or absolved, or annihilated, or chose to purge out of your life, for the time being, because it drew too much of your attention away from a groundedness of yourself.

It caused you to lose the important thing of yourself, and now you’re at a point where you could take it back on, and you should be able to carry that.

spaces-self-storageIn Jeane’s dream, she sees herself returning to a storage space from an earlier point in her life. The question is, does she need or want what has been left there? This is a question for anyone on the path, as we wrestle with letting go of old ways and patterns, and surrender to something higher. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: I’ll start with a dream I had yesterday when I fell asleep in the afternoon. In that dream, I was going to visit an apartment where I used to live. It seemed like it was maybe on the second floor, and I was going to visit it because the people living there were moving out, and I had left some things in a storage room that was right next to the screen door on the porch where you went into the apartment.

The first time I went over, I just kind of snuck over in a way. I wanted to look when no one was around. I went into the storage unit and looked around to see what I’d left there, and there were some tall vases, just plain white glass vases, and some things in the storage room.

It feels like when I’m ready to leave there’s a little enclosure around the porch and the landlady must have a large dog and it comes, and I’m afraid it might bite me. But if I put my hands behind me it’s more like it just sticks its muzzle against my hands. You think it might nip, but it doesn’t.

The second time I go back the landlady spies me and I didn’t really want to be seen. I didn’t know her very well. I don’t know if she knew that I’d left some stuff in storage, so I don’t whether it’ll be okay to take it, or if I just need to let go of it, like maybe I’ve taken a look at it; maybe it’s stuff that I should just let go of.

I don’t know. I just tell her why I’m there. I explain, and then I know as I’m leaving again I’m dealing with the dog; it doesn’t quite nip, but it kind of presses against you before I go out the gate.

John: What your dream is doing is, this is causing you to note the quality upon which you have to feel yourself. In other words, this is an energetic that you can note in a lower, almost like utilizing a lower gravity self side of yourself, which is through the dog.

In other words, he’s the one that creates the “unawares” so to speak, as you go and take a look at something that you have established as an entitlement from long ago. You don’t currently have it. You let it go on purpose. You put it into storage.

You can go back now and you could retrieve it if you want, and if you do you have to take on a certain perspective in terms of retrieving this. You can do this, but you have to also note what this does in terms of how it affects you in terms of a disposition, or a perspective, or a way of seeing yourself.

The dilemma with something like this, is you chose to step away from this part of an outer/inner trait and development for a reason, long ago, as part of surrender and freeing yourself to be simple and nonattached.

Or in other words not have your attention weighed down because you wanted to make sure that you were focused upon something on an inner, deeper, other level that wouldn’t be distracted by a tendency in one’s nature to take on the mannerism, or appearance, or thought process of certain things that, once received, acquired, or maintained, one tends to look at and establish even a sense of security or something in terms of their image, self image, over such objects as part of their general, natural, overall being that such objects can come with.

Or you can let go of them, and become more empty and free, so that you make sure that you hear more readily, without that getting in the way, what you seek and want to experience and note inside of you.

Well, in the dream, it’s as if the point has come where you can go and you can now take back on those parts and, in doing so, you have to observe the lower-self trait, which is this dog, but the dog is a friend, and you are meant to be able to have a relationship with that part of yourself that can function energetically, and this way too.

In other words, it’s man’s friend, when before perhaps it was something that posed itself as a distraction. It is said that when you go on a path, certain karmas, and certain patterns, and certain natures that afflicted one, are pretty much absorbed or taken away.

It’s implied or said that the teacher kind of picks those up, so that you no longer continue to spiral out of control, because the teacher can see that this little bit of comfort or relief, once given, can enable you, through a backdoor process, to start to touch the depths of yourself.

It’s the same principle, in a roundabout way, of the missionaries in the West coming in and clothing, and feeding, and housing, the Indians, more or less thinking that they could put them in to a particular position where they would be receptive to the Christian ideas.

That’s the gross way of saying it. I don’t know that it actually worked, but that was the concept. But in this line of teaching, the idea that you are overwhelmed by activities that you have gotten caught in, and gotten lost in, if those are set aside, or taken on so to speak, by the teacher, in other words absorbed by the teacher, that you then can listen more with your heart and then realign yourself.

Now, it is also said that at some point in time those are then fed back to you, and they’re fed back to you when you have developed a certain consciousness to know how to carry those without them somehow or another grabbing your identity and sweeping you up in a particular way so that you are then lost again, and unable to hear that inner linkage or inner connection in the way that you need to always be able to hear it.

So it’s an interesting dream in that the theme of the vibration is one in which you are paying attention to what it feels like to take on a particular quality, or image, or mannerism, which is something that you have earned or have established as something from long ago, in your nature, as a way of being, that was set aside in order for you to experience the world, or life, or yourself, differently.

And now it’s time to bring that back and include that, as opposed to keeping it, so to speak, repressed or, using the prior example, taken on so to speak by the teacher, so that it wouldn’t affect your way of being.

But it also could have been actually repressed, because a person can do this to themselves as well, where they recognize that something was more than what their nature could naturally carry, in terms of the way they wanted to see themselves, which was a way that wanted to be more conscious, or more free.

And so they could give it away at that particular point in time, and then everything would sit in kind of abeyance to see what unfolded in terms of their development, before it would be something that would have to be given back, or received back.

Spaceship-brian-fiesFollowing the dream from yesterday’s post (see Call of Duty),  Jeane had this dream image of returning to the alien planet. Because she has everyone’s tickets for the journey, she can be seen as taking on the responsibility of what has awakened in her, yet it’s not without its obstacles. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: Then it feels like in the second dream, later in the morning, I’m trying to maybe get back to that planet from wherever I’ve been. And there are several of us that have to go, either I think two other people and myself, and then there’s a young person, I think a man, that’s helping us because we’re running to catch the plane or the transportation to the other planet.

And the people I’m with have gotten way ahead of me, but I realize I have the tickets, which are kind of strange looking, they must be about three feet long and only an inch wide. So I’ve got them all gathered in one hand, and I’m running down this hallway.

And I think this kid who is helping me, maybe had gotten the tickets for me, and then is running with me so we can catch up with the others. And I’m concerned that they’ll get there and they won’t realize they don’t have their tickets, or maybe they’ll get a little lost because we know the way better.

At the last minute it’s like I just run and jump and get on the back of the rocket ship, or whatever, that takes us there, or get inside it. Well, now I’m inside it, and I know the others are there somewhere. Now I have the dilemma of, did we remember our passports? It wasn’t like I was carrying anything, except then I see I have one of those little pods again, those little egg-shaped pods that you carry, that I seem to keep things in so I start opening it up.

It actually looks like a miniature ship inside. It’s kind of mechanical. Sure enough, stuffed in among the gears as I go scrambling through it is my passport, so I figure the others must have their passports, too. Now we just have to remember the way from the airport to wherever we go once we land.

John: Those dreams are easier to understand when you do an all feminine dream, because trying to understand it in the overallness is kind of difficult, because my mind tends to work and look at it in kind of a linear progressed way of looking at things. But you’re presenting a very linear progressed way of looking at things, and so it’s easier to understand.

The theme of course is this sense of following a responsibility, or a duty, in relationship to an understanding that’s awakened inside of you, and you’re having to confront various things that compromise it.

On the first dream, it was the idea of creating another way of rationalizing a self-gratification. In other words, it’s on another planet, so it’s okay. In the next dream, the tickets are like your orders, or your duty, and everything around the tickets and the composure of all of that has an anxiety to it.

So when you get speeded up, or anxious, you again betray the natural sense of being able to sit back and know, and feel, and carry, and recognize what is meant to be. So the key word again is veils, like one of the ways that you veil yourself from the bigger picture is like in the first dream, you veil yourself by creating a rationalization as to why something can exist because it’s about this over here, as opposed to something more direct.

And another rationalization that veils, although you wouldn’t call this word rationalization, you would call it an inability to hold the focus and attention or something, because there’s the anxiety that races out, and then that destroys the cadence, the presence, the auric nature of yourself, which can hear and catch up with and recognize what is needed in terms of tickets, and duty, or orders, or how it is that you’re meant to be in terms of the equation of things. If you get over anxious, then you abandon ship too.

The dream had the same subject in general. It just had within the dream two different ways in which you confine or constrict yourself in terms of hearing, and being with, that awakening, or that sense of greater knowingness.
