When we speak of the differences between masculine and feminine, there are many levels to it. Each gender has both aspects within them, and we also carry the genetic history of what has happened here between the genders. And the act of letting go is the process that lets us get beyond the parts that limit us, and enables us to become more fully in sync with the oneness of the universe. Of course, the challenges within these processes vary within each gender. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)
John: This, I noticed, was a masculine way of catching up with something at this new stage of things, and that masculine catching up of things results when you’re able to bring the pain forward, when you bring it forward so that something comes out of that into life it comes out as a fullness on the in-breath – which is the feminine breath.
And what I saw was the healing that has to be done is on this reactionary, emotional content level of that in-breath. And the in-breath being the feminine side quality of what is normally a… In other words, the masculine is comfortable with the sight and bringing down this out-breath that comes right down into life and sets things in motion, awakens things in what is a feminine manifestation, but doesn’t know how to let go to that – as that comes up, can it sweep that in?
And manifestation is this huge, huge reflective of the overall, but condensed so that it has appearance and seems to work in a schematic of time. And so the masculine quality comes down, accesses it, reaches it, but then where it hits kind of a feminine characteristic is it has to get beyond its mood, where it goes off in kind of an emotional content way, where it doesn’t quite penetrate and reach its deep inner pain. And when it reaches that deep inner pain, then it can bring something through and then that becomes a completeness and a wholeness for a masculine.
Now the feminine sits as a principle not having to deal and sort out the raw energy like the masculine does and try to find the state in which to work and then contend with this deeper pain, this really deeper embedded pain, that is kind of a quality that has some emotional content and everything else in it, that’s normally not noticeable, that is there as a result of abuse by the masculine flow of energy but has a quality of importance in that if the pain isn’t contended with you can’t have a fullness of the in-breath.
You know, that will create a quality of kind of a grief or something that will hold over the atmosphere.
Now the feminine’s approach to this is different. The feminine sees itself as not quite having everything… you know, not knowing whether everything’s going to be okay or not, and relying upon the masculine sight and guidance to kind of help put things… to bring through the memos of things. And then it sorts out from what it hears, what feels right to itself.
Now, the feminine has to let go of the self-consciousness and the heebie-jeebies and all of that sort of stuff that it feels in a world in which it sees itself as overwhelmed and weaker in relationship to how all of this stuff is, so the feminine tends to be self-conscious, tends to not give herself credit for how she can hold the responsibility of the presence in manifestation.
So she has to quit all of this activity and settle back and let this stuff rise up inside of her as a knowingness. It’s a type of hearing center that awakens for her, when the masculine is trying to work more through a type of sight, because the physical is made out of sound and, you know, manifestation is an aspect of sound, created out of sound, and the godhead of things is an aspect of light, So the feminine has to stop making all this noise in order to hear something and feel something inside of her, and when she does that then she catches up with the animus
She catches up with that side in terms of a sight or a natural knowingness. She catches up with it that way – if she can stop and be at peace. Now it’s really, really hard and there’s all kinds of things that the feminine does that portrays how she is, you know, just being disconcerted and out of whack in terms of grasping this deeper depth of her masculine side of herself.
In other words, she will choose to automatically react to the way the driving is, or she’ll be self-conscious about appearance of things. She’ll worry about things that the masculine will pretend is okay, even if he knows that it’s not okay, he at least feels that that’s his responsibility so he will try to make it work – and if he doesn’t, he creates pain.
The feminine tends to understand the emotive aspect of things better than the masculine, and so the masculine to get to the misuse of the vibration of energy, to get to the pain that stands in the way, you know, of… in other words he can have a tremendous understanding of how something is in relationship to what is meant to be, you know you can understand a lot intellectually, and he can have a wonderful understanding but in order to bring kind of the heart of the world a joy, to bring something more out that emanates and rises up out of the higher octave of the manifestation, he has to feel the pain, he has to feel that part of himself that’s gone off a bit.
The point of this is to try to show in terms of the overall theme of things of how as one is functioning in manifestation, in a spiritual process path, the purpose is to try to portray kind of what this journey is like, and to try to portray it at a different stage of where things are at now.
In other words, for the feminine to portray what is involved at the stage of knowing how to drop and let go of certain self-consciousness and acting up and doingness of things, and able to kind of know how to let everything be in a way where it feels okay and it is okay. In other words quit making the noise that prevents that from being loud and clear.
And for the masculine it’s to recognize that in the struggle and delirium to try to contend or ground in physical existence that there has been something that has abused the feminine quality nature of things and created an emotional imbalance and a deep embedded pain. Now the masculine is good at covering that pain up, and not even noticing the pain and continuing on as if that pain doesn’t exist.
But there comes a point in time when you develop a certain type of awareness, in relationship to the denser aspect of things, where you can work with raw energies and you can understand the principle upon which life needs to open up where you then have no choice because then that step comes where you have to feel the pain, where you have to sense the pain.
And when you first sense the pain it shuts everything off because the pain is so deep inside. And so you’re kind of dull and you’re kind of a stupor and you fall back into the senses of it all, the senses of the outer. But if you stare and you look at the pain and you bring the motion of that from somewhere repressed, you bring that through, you bring the energy through that crack or however you’d call that, you’re then able to bring something then that touches life, that works with life.
