Holding the Need

tatal-cerescIt can often seem as if we are all alone floating in the darkness of space. How could any God or gods possibly be everywhere it, or they, has to be? Well, this is where the idea of “need” comes in. You might even say that the “next thing” is always based on some sort of need from the previous moment. But whose need are we speaking of? Perhaps it is the need of things to fulfill their design potential that makes the universe unfold. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So, last night, as I was dreaming I woke up and for some reason I was really annoyed because you weren’t here and I could hear you lumbering around, but you still took a long time to come.

And then all of that got incorporated into the dream, you know. It felt like I would go away and I would come back, and I was approaching you either as the god or the goddess, either me in that form or you in one of those forms.

And then it would be like, I was still annoyed at something, and then I was explaining to you why, when you were the goddess, certain things didn’t change as we would go somewhere and come back, and why they would change maybe when one was in the other form.

And there were whole dreams around that, but I didn’t really pull them out because I think there was kind of an emotional charge, but I remember that was the theme, because I would keep coming away and coming back and if things had changed, it had to do because of the form one had at that time.

John: So, the theme of the dreaming last night had to do with being able to recognize how one needs to hold, not an idea, but a need. Because if you hold any kind of idea, that then means, the counter of that is, something that needs to be done.

But if you hold the need and can hold that without there having to be a solution, or a compelled opinion, and you just hold that quality, that then beckons through the change from a higher-self into life.

But you stay in a lower energetics consciousness when you recognize that you have some opinion or another about something and you support that. When you do something like that, you are then blocking that inner flow that is important, that acts as the higher self, or as the quality of soul energy depth flowing into the whole.

And you have this example of how to be, in terms of how the soul is. The soul is confined to a human body and the limitations that seem to be implied in that regard, and thus has sacrificed its quality of being as big as the universe, or so it seems.

But the soul, through being connected to something that is in a limited space, can stay confused by that density, can stay trying to resolve issues in regards to that density, in terms of health, in terms of the limitations that that is under. Or it can access something on a greater domain that takes into account everything that exists and embody that into life through the limitation, or seeming limitation, of the human body.

In order for that to work, it cannot work within the confines of the human body way of reference, of trying to do this or that. Instead it has to identify; there has to be the recognition of the need without the notionality. When you have the notionality, then you can’t catch up with the inner flow that comes through.

So I guess what this means is that a human being is not something that is a problem solver. A human being accesses the solutions, because there are no problems. Or, a human being gets in the way of their own divinity, when they try to solve their own need. A human being is meant to be at a point of a type of letting go and surrender, in which they activate this quality of a depth deep within, which is the recognition of just holding the need and holding the need only, so that a solution can occur.

When a human being doesn’t do that, then they deny, so to speak, that part of themselves or God, or however you want to say it, the one thing that it doesn’t have. Well, obviously that’s a joke, because it has everything, but this part remains unconscious if you are interfering by having your idea on how something should unfold.

See, what you have to do is you have to hold the space. You can find me within the need, within the space, but you can’t find me within the particularities, within the subject matter. It’s just like, if one takes and goes into a situation like Israel and thinks that you are going to sit there and you’re going to hear both sides of the equation in the argument, and that it’s important for you to know both sides, the chances are you’re going to find yourself having to do a bit of pro and conning, and balancing. And knowing the detail of the issue is not what is important. What is important is that if you need to hear anything, you hear it just enough to know how great the need is – and that you then feel the need.

The idea of taking and having a whole sense about something breaking down in Egypt when we were in Egypt, and coming back, you know, feeling kind of sad as a consequence of that, but not sitting there, projecting all kinds of things that needed to happen, to resolve that, is what was important. One felt the need. To go to Egypt to just take in the sights, to move around and then come out, and as soon as one comes back, just drop that like a rag doll, is not to feel the need.

The quality of the human being is that they are alive when they access something that can flow through them, that answers or resolves the need of the situation. And if there is any iota of an involvement, or opinion, or mannerism, in any degree, that gets in the way of that being able to happen. It has to happen in a fluid way that is not restrictive by the conditions that you find yourself in, that has this humanistic quality that is very much all caught up in how a particular way something is, in terms of how it’s like the mud-puddle effect then, that we take to be so important.

The soul moves around when we sleep at night, when the mind shuts down and the senses fall away. And that should provide sufficient evidence and example as to how we need to be able to be during the daytime. We should not be a person that has to go from this to that to this to that. We should, instead, just see what the need is. Be able to not vent the need with anger, or frustration, or despair, or anything like that, because there is a pace that that need has, as a conduit, and as a flow, and as an intertwined linkage, that is self-sufficient and important in and of itself.

If you feel the need and then modify it or codify it in some way or another, that is when you start to tear yourself up.
