At the heart of the idea of freedom of choice is the idea that we want to truly know what we are choosing. To do that, we need to become more open to the side that we relate to less. In the process, we will also become less biased, which really is important to our spiritual journey because we are not trying to choose our favorite “thing,” we are trying to choose the best way to proceed, with the given information. And, on a path, the best way is the way that serves its purposes best, not our individual desires. Jeane: Well in the first dream I have, it’s like I’m observing some scene on the river and kind of trying to interpret what the signs are because it’s like I’m looking at energy lines or something.
And I think the signs are indicating something that my father has to do, in terms of his living situation. But, then, after a short while I realize that my sister and I misinterpreted it and it’s not like what Dad is supposed to do, it’s what we’re supposed to do, like we’re supposed to have been with him rather than him do however we read it the first time. So then we have to catch up and change that. That was the first dream.
John: The only thing that is noticeable about this is the pattern by which things are presented. In other words, because of having to honor freedom of choice whenever there is a certain perspective or way that something is being presented to you, from which you can take a look at it, you have to look at it from both sides.
It’s like when you come in front of a teacher, for example: at first there can be the magnetic connection, and then the teacher will flip it as if he’s rejecting you, or pushing you away. That’s always kind of an automatic. And the reason why it’s like that is that you have to be able to look at the tug of war that goes on – and not get lost. Because every dream has a negative side to it as well as a positive side, and you have to be able to take into account both parts in order to reach a whole.
Because if you only hear something, or only look at something, in one particular way – even if that’s an important way, and a good way that you’re inclined to go, and should go in terms of an alignment – if that’s the only direction that you proceed in, you don’t integrate the other half and you end up with the spiritual illusion.
So, apparently this dream had something to do energetically with a way something is intended to, or is being presented, or has affected your consciousness in terms of how something is to unfold. And so you have looked at it one way in terms of what you consider the way to go, but in order to balance that out you have to look at the opposite, too.
