It’s nice to think that if we someday find ourselves entwined with the oneness of the universe that we can sit back, relax, and feel that our work is done. But, of course, it will just be beginning. Because it is at that point that we can truly be in service to the purposes of creation and play a role in how things unfold. The universe is fantastic and amazing, but it is not perfect. Humans can help it in its desire to always refine, and it can help us – if we desire to always refine. Jeane: I had like three dreams, at least. The very first dream you’re kind of like a little bit of a hard-edged, wealthy man, and you have a party at which a bunch of people have come and it’s like you’re wanting to assess something at that party.
And you have me at the party, but nobody knows that I’m in a relationship with you. And I’m just observing. But then, at one point, some people spill something on one of the sofas, so I go get a little hand vacuum to suck it up. And that kind of gives them a clue that, you know, I have a different relationship to the household, maybe, as opposed to somebody who just came to the party.
So they’re all trying to figure that out, and also then, when they leave, the only ones that stay are myself and another man that works for you. That was really about the only dynamics in that dream.
John: The theme of the dreaming had to do with a quality of an intertwined connectiveness that works, and functions, outside of one’s self. Meaning that there’s one’s perception of self that one has and, to a certain degree, that can have a kind of connectiveness to the oneness. And then there is the surroundings itself that can be there, as the self is in that surrounding, and that involves a whole other level of consciousness for there to be an understanding of the self in relationship to how it is in the outer.
In other words, it’s kind of a way of looking, or perspective of looking. In other words, there’s the perspective of looking that has to do with a seeing that is projective, or plaintiff, oriented so to speak, which means that it reaches out. That’s a perspective of consciousness in which you look at a person and come to understand them in terms of their actions in relationship to how they function and flow in relationship to their perception of the world around them.
And then there is the corollary, the flip side, which is how they are as a step back defensive dynamic in relationship to things that are occurring around them, that they have a correlation that is oriented based upon how that is unfolding around them, and that you come to understand what they are about in life, and who they are, in relationship to how they hold a presence, or a quality, in relationship to some other greater orientation or whole that is going on.
So most of the dreaming last night had this theme of taking and looking at what it’s like to start taking into account, instead of a proactive, a subjective quality of awareness. The outer world is used to looking at things in a kind of patriarchal way, by the way that something probes out, or reaches out, or situates itself in relationship to the overall.
It’s of equal balance and significance, but tends to be discounted in a patriarchal world, the other side of the coin, which is more of a feminine orientation, more of a defensiveness if you were to look at it as plaintiff and defense, or as projective or as overt, or as a subjective, in which the dynamic is such that’s in support of what is unfolding in the outer, and doesn’t take and have an overt nature for a person to put their finger on.
To understand that you have to look at what they are doing and how they are – in relationship to helping sustain something. So I guess if you were to break it down into kind of a Hindu deity kind of thing, it’s the preserver energy, that was kind of the predominant theme of last night’s dreaming, when usually the attention has been kind of on what it takes, what do you do, in order to change the note, or deal with the note of things, in relationship to the whole, which is kind of a creator quality.
This is looking at the preserver quality. I mean we’ve looked at the destroyer quality before, too, which is the Shiva. But this is kind of a preserver theme of dreaming.
