bre8It’s it a wonderfully connective image to realize that everything in the universe is breathing – it’s something we have in common with what surrounds us. And this idea of breathing needs to include more than the breathing of oxygen, but also the breathing of energies – which is another kind of food for us. And to breathe with something is to be in sync with it, because it has been scientifically proven that people in love can breathe in unison. This concept is also used in healing therapies. So imagine what that means for us, if we can breathe with the whole of the universe? (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So, in the dream, it’s like I’m going back and examining working at healing with the breath, that this is something that I know something about doing, or I’ve done in the past. I’m in the process of examining that, and just working with the breath.

I come across some people talking about a meeting they’re having, where even someone I knew who is in high school is coming into town, and she’s going to be teaching a class to another group of people that also do breath work. And I know she’s very bright, but she’s kind of stiff, and I know that I probably even know more about teaching it, or can do it in a more lively way than she can. But I hadn’t even realized this group of people have been meeting, and having seminars on it, locally.

I had never met up with the group that was doing it, or teaching it, even though I have a lot of experience in it. And so they didn’t have any idea I could do it, either, so one person I can see is kind of interested they could see that I could probably teach a good class in this, but others who are in charge are kind of dubious because they had never thought of me one way or another of being able to do this.

So I’m pondering all that, and I see that she’s going to come and she’ll teach, and I’m going over in my mind what will be the difference in the ways that I might teach, or what I could introduce.

And then I seem to drift a little…

John: What’s interesting in the first dream is that the awareness you have, you describe it as an awareness of breath, that is something that you’re coming to recognize, in other words, the vibrational element within that, and that you’re able to facilitate or teach that. In other words, it’s something that you didn’t realize that you could do, but you’ve kind of been doing, and you’re recognizing that you can do this. That you’ve always had this quality about you that could do this.

The unusual thing about this is it’s a Catch-22. The teacher is in the outer. In other words, all the others that you see that are doing it, and the others that you liken to as individuals, or as a group, are actually a functionality of the outer that everything in life is breathing this one quality. And that it is this one quality that you’re coming to recognize that you have inside of yourself.

In other words, this is an odd kind of way of saying this to yourself. In other words, like you’re creating the image as if there are other people that do this, and that you suddenly realize that this is something that you’re able to do, that you recognize. Actually that’s still keeping it as a duality. But when you take the duality out, you realize that everything around you is doing this, is breathing in this particular vibrational way.

It all has a note that undulates through life, and that you can find that, and channel that, and be at home with that, and in tune with that, yourself. It’s a type of understanding that you need to catch up with because the vibration is all around you in life, and that you have separated yourself from it. And so, in the dream, you’re acting like you’re recognizing that it’s supported somehow or another, in terms of others that are in the scenario, and that you can do this yourself, and perhaps do it better.

In any event, you’re evaluating how it is that you are in relationship to this. It’s slightly off in that the thing that is teaching is life itself, and it is showing that it is carrying this singular one-mindedness of an energetic of breath that permeates everything, and that you are coming to find out that you are correlated with that.

So it’s tricky. In other words, the duality mind is having you looking at this as if others are doing it and that you are finding that you can do it as well or better, or however you want to contemplate that. And instead, what is actually going on, is that all of the world has been doing this and that you have been holding yourself off as separate, and then are coming to find out that you have a recognition of this sort of thing, and that discovery that you have this recognition of this sort of thing, you’re taking as some sort of epiphany about yourself. But the thing is, is it’s like waking up out of a trance. What is really going on is the whole world is breathing in this fashion. This whole world is alive in this fashion.

This is the atonement that is permeating in everything that there is, and that you are coming to recognize that you are a part of that. You’re not distinguished in some fashion from that. You are part of that. So all of the others in the group, and all of that that you’re talking about, is the wholeness or the overallness, to which you are awakening to find yourself to be a component of that. Isn’t that interesting how that turns?

It is a law of the universe that everything is either feeding us energy, or it is draining energy away from us. We know that some people lift us up, and other people bring us down. Some spaces let us expand, other spaces make us feel trapped. Part of becoming conscious is to become more aware of the energy exchanges we have with the world around us – even to the point of the possessions we hold onto, like the past we stuff in boxes and drag with us everywhere we go. The best type of “spring cleaning” minimizes energy drains, and focuses on what feeds us. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: Well I’m still working under the theme that everything in the environment affects one because one is connected to everything, And that whatever you hold onto, or whatever you take on, has some sort of general overall effect on you. As Ellyn says, be careful of your possessions and stuff because they weigh you down.

And so I actually I had kind of a dream like this and, in the meditation dream, I’m finding myself kind of in a lobby area. I shouldn’t say it’s a lobby area anyway, it’s a lower area of a big, large building and there’s no one else around. And it’s kind of like being back in the 1950s or something like that, you know, an old, kind of grayish, big, large building like maybe even in New York City or something, in a big city, and it’s got those big, long columns that go up and whatnot.

And I’m off the street on the ground floor, and I have a whole bunch of belongings that would take a huge cart just to push along. Apparently those are all my accumulations or something, and I’m pondering where to go, you know, and how do I move around with all these things?

And then this guy comes by and he is apparently from up above, and he walks through and he pauses, or at least he slows his gait down just a tiny bit as he glances at everything, and you can see he’s kind of sizing the whole thing up, feeling it vibe-wise, as to whether this should be a concern or something with all of this stuff hanging out. And it must be kind of a poor period of time because I see some other stuff hanging out in the area that belongs to maybe someone else that’s not around.

And the whole sensation of a dream like this is that you’re weighed down by all of this stuff. You can’t move around. You don’t have your freedom. You don’t have your flexibility. You’re caught in the environment of things. It’s very, very contracted, which is the same thing as saying that because everything is vibrationally intertwined that you have a sense of that vibration that permeates or runs through everything.

And so when you hold all of that around you it tends to keep you from being able to have a greater overall sense of the whole. It’s as if all of that stuff, in its density, is now your identity, or has you vibrationally caught in that kind of dementia or something – as opposed to letting go and just being able to flow through life in a way that’s not separate.

In other words, I describe the purpose of the dream was to cause me to feel what it’s like to have to contend with the energetic of so much that it weighs your being down, and defines how it is that you’re able to be. And also the dream causes me to note the heaviness of the heart, in other words when you’re like that, which restricts me from moving around so much that I’m unable to sort things out, or find the inner peace that one needs in the whole.

In other words, you’re kind of sitting there in a type of bewilderment when you’re like that, you know, because your options are really cut down because you’re held by all of the stuff that you have and you’re pondering how to move it about.

The overall theme is one of trying to denote energetically how it is that I am meant to be in the overall expansiveness of life. I’m meant to look at life in terms of an inner connected way, a connected way, though, that’s not holding onto things but is intertwined, so that you flow, so that there’s a oneness.

The one brief glance of a person passing by on his way home, this being a person that doesn’t have the energetic weight to keep himself stunted, in just glancing at him you can see he’s taking in the surroundings in a way in which it shocks him a little bit because he’s not encumbered by the outer denseness. In other words, he has a greater overallness and that reflects back to me how it is that my overall beingness needs to be. By that what I mean is that, what reflects to me is who and how I am meant to be in life. In other words, I’m not meant to be all burdened like that, because when you’re burdened like that you’re energetically defined, and confined, which means your heart then is dysfunctional; it’s heavy, or sad.

So the meditation dream, kind of then to repeat it, is that of an image of a person who is all alone, separate from the world around them, which is not how you’re meant to be. Which causes the saying to come to mind about what a tangled web you create when you conduct yourself in a way as if you can hold onto things, which is a type of deceiving of yourself, in which when you’re like that you think you’re caught in a conception as if you’re affected, or defined, by the environment around you. Instead you’re connected to a space within, which takes your beingness into everything there is in life.

And when it’s like that I mean you’re like an empty space. You’re just in whatever it is and everything in life, you’re not one way or another, you’re just embracing an intertwinement and you’re everything, you’re just a part of everything going on. You’re not somehow or another pulled off to one side where you have to contend and suffer – which is an illusion.

So it’s a very strange condition that a human being is in, it’s put into a position where it’s like they appear to be elevated, and yet they’re really just part of the overall, and uphold and support the overall. The overall, of course, is when they fight and struggle and whatnot they maintain the density which keeps their greater beingness from being expansive.

ego_deathWhen we are in our personalized view of life, we generally have a dozen or more things we have to do, or that need to happen, and when they don’t unfold according to plan we find ourselves upset and knocked off our normal state of being. Yet if we have let go of that control, have instead surrendered to the universal way of things, we really can’t know exactly what to do next – because it’s a flow. So in our surrender, our “need” becomes more potent. And when our need becomes more potent, it calls in support from the universe to help us navigate the flow of the unknown. That’s when we begin to hear our intuition, and our other instinctual guidance systems, which will help us on our way.  (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: I, too, was reverbing back and forth in a state that wasn’t settled, and wasn’t at rest like it could be in terms of a greater expansive – but I can’t hold the greater expansive very well. For some reason there’s something that I don’t understand in that regard, so I’m subjected to delusional effects, and I’m not even capable of understanding the opposite of the delusional effect, meaning able to be linked to the expansive, because I still have my perceptions that get in the way, that clog my sight to the natural inkling that it can have, to that which is the positive, or expansive wholeness, or oneness, that permeates through everything all around me, that is in tune with this One Mind, or void, that is everything. Or, as they would say, nothing but nothingness.

And that in the contractive I still ponder what appears to be a something, which is just the illusion upon which I suffer. So I experienced this, but didn’t pull it out, and speak of it as in a dream per se. Instead I just have the meditation dream.

So in the meditation dream, I am shown that there are different protocols that are followed for passengers who fly about in life. For example, those who have no exposure in a particular area, in other words, one particular area meaning in the overallness, do not have the direct potential for not contaminating, in other words, struggle with the awakening, whatever the case may be in terms of this kind of yo-yoing back and forth, in that there is a diminution, or taking away of what is intertwinedly evolved.

You have to be concerned about what appears to be a taking away from that, because that’s caused by an aspect in which there is the ego, or the mind that is of the heretic ego, and the taking away is as a consequence of not being able to recognize the linkage that one has in a wholeness, or overall, way. And when one does, that’s an awakened state because that’s when one is experiencing the connection to the wholeness.

So what is different with those who have this connection to an awakening, or an involvement, is that they link to the need to know. So, in other words, if you go along and you just try to experience things in kind of a free flow way it won’t work that way, because you have to do this in relationship to the oneness that threads through everything, that is in the expanse. And to do that is awkward and challenging because it shakes up the personal contractive aspect of your nature, causes you to have to reconcile that to the oneness, the all-pervading mind of things.

And if you don’t do that, you don’t really awaken. And you can have kind of a quality of wisdom, or knowledge, of being but it’s one more bounded in one’s holding onto some definition or something, a duality, and in that they suffer. And each person generally then, that you see suffering, is suffering in slightly different ways based upon some predilection that they still sustain and maintain in terms of what they consider as important in terms of their idea of reality. And that is the heretic’s mind ego.

So once you let go of something like this, the contractive, there’s no longer the sheltering that exists, and the conscious level of an overallness is being tweaked. You can’t grasp anything in that regard. You can only experience it in terms of in the moment – and it is different.

So the meaningfulness is, though everything is intertwined and part of the One Mind, the relationship to awakening arises. And those who have exposure to life in ways that others have not, are treated differently from those who are in a different phase of the inner awakening. Such people who have lived a life of direct involvement are, generally speaking, further along in the process of awakening because they are required to go through circumstances in the outer life which is different from those who are at a lesser point in the atonement.

In other words, those who are kind of just free flowing and don’t allow anything to touch them regarding things that happen, that come in and impact, or affect, from the oneness that permeates through life as part of the overall design, those who somehow or another try to hold onto it in kind of a total subjective way end up being in a condition where they have to contend with their moods, but their moods then are more of a nature of a type of pain, a type of pain in relationship to that which throws them outside of a center.

Now the idea that they have of a center is correct, but they have to include this other component in order to awaken because that is what leads to the consciousness. And if they don’t include this other center, then they are acting in a way that deviates then from what is going on in the overallness.

Those who are more naturally intertwined in the atonement, have knocked upon the door and have a need to know. In other words, the greater you suffer, the more you have the need to know. And, of course, you can try to avoid that, which means you’re trying to hold onto some sense, or aspect, or wisp of things. But you can’t hold onto the wisp of things. What is missing in all of this, that functions like that, is the recognition of a connective intertwinement and, in that, the connection being so much so of the heart.

And so when one is trying to be in a particular way in the outer, in which you’re more contracted from the expansiveness of your overall being, you are projecting a quality of duality yet upon which you suffer.

But if you get set in a particular way strong enough, then what you do is you can react violently and shut out a listening that is capable of taking in anything and everything that is around you because you know the illusion of all projections, because you somewhere are always feeling the atonement or attunement that is intertwined. And if you’re holding onto something, then you’re going to react. And when you react, you’re going to suffer in the heart.
