We like to think that we have come to understand the uses of herbs, and things in the wild that have medicinal benefits, strictly through trial and error. But that is not the case, historically. Shamans and healers through the ages have gained a connection to the plants and animals in their environment and, through that connection, have communicated with them. In a sense, the plant was able to “tell” them their higher nature. And that is the nature of a human life connected to the greater aliveness of things – information is everywhere, if we are able to listen and get the knowing available to us. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)
Jeane: I had two dreams and they both had the same theme, in the sense that I was trying to catch up with the actor who plays Dracula in that TV program. In the first dream, he’s in one setting and, as we try to catch up with him, whatever I’m doing it’s not quite right. And so I try to correct my breathing, and I keep trying to shift something.
And it feels like whatever I do, in that instance, interferes with my sleeping. And so then I keep coming back to trying to hear a certain sound, And that first dream then became associated with the color red.
John: So, at this point, what you’re doing is that you just seem to understand, or recognize, that everything that is going on in the overall is part of something that you need to accept as a level of existence, or a way of being.
In other words, you’re not doing the typical behavior which is to look at something that’s a Dracula, we’ll say, or is a make believe mannerism, and treating it as something that is fabrication and extraneous.
Instead there is something about the show that tweaks something inside of you to cause you to recognize an energetic that is part of the wholeness of life – and you are seeking to incorporate that as part of the naturalness and beingness of your overall frame of reference.
And if you were to look at this as something that is completely peculiar and manufactured, and not part of what is going on in life, meaning some energetic or another that got triggered here because whatever that energetic is that got triggered is part of life, is part of the whole, is part of who you are.
What you are doing is you are trying to incorporate that into, like I say, a type of shifted level, or another level or something. You’re trying to incorporate that into you’re overall beingness as part of it, as it being part of it when it hasn’t been, and wasn’t being, noticed before.
Jeane: So, in the second dream, again I’m trying to catch up with him, but this time he’s on a train, again with a circle of people, and again I just can’t quite get the breathing right. And this time, I’m again correcting to trying to hear a certain sound, and this time it’s associated with orange. and that was all I could really pull out because it’s like I would keep interrupting the details or it would partly wake me up and I would kind of come to trying to hear a sound.
John: And so, what this part is doing is it’s telling you that this is part of the journey. In other words, whatever unfoldment or awakening process that you’re on needs to incorporate that, needs to shift with that, and the shifting is orange.
I mean that’s the color of the shamanistic use of energy. And the red has to do with you acknowledging and recognizing something and bringing it into your overall level of insightfulness as a beingness. In other words, that’s the color that most grounds all that’s going on into life.
In other words, what we perceive is a very little thing. In other words, what we perceive is based upon only working with the senses from a lens that sees everything as separate. And to be properly grounded you have to incorporate the wholeness, and everything in that wholeness, as being you.
And when something then becomes recognized as being something that you hadn’t noticed before, you incorporate that as another level of your wholeness. And that enables you, then, in bringing that through, to function with that, and the functioning with that or the working with that, which is really you, because everything is you, that shifting, just like the catching up with that is like a shift, and then that shifting that is now in life has a quality to it that is the orange, the orange color in you, which means the color that is able to take what is anew and utilize it in ways that may make no sense to other parts of yourself that are not aware, or accepting, that this is part of life.
And so when you have something that you accept as part of life, and others do not accept it as part of life, then you have the ability to shift things that they can’t shift because they are caught in their limitation of their perceptions. Now they and everything is you. And the access to that, compared to the you that didn’t have the access to it, is something that brought in creates something anew, and that’s shamanistic, or that that’s a shift.
So the orange that is able to do things that, when viewed from the plane of separation, can appear shamanistic because it works with the ordering, a natural order taken into the whole of what really is an overall aliveness, when it is viewed from the standpoint of separation that this sort of thing is possible, like the shaman reading the rock for information, and being able to do that, or being able to take an inanimate object and use that as a means, as a lens, as a mirror, to seeing something of what one would sense and think to be a greater aliveness, take a more inanimate aliveness to reach something as a greater aliveness, what is missing here is the recognition that is all alive.
And the fact that the rock can say something, or show something, means that it has that aliveness that is within that rock has been opened up and connected to the aliveness that is really an aliveness of the whole. In other words, the separation has been taken away. And so an aspect of something falling away is a use of the color orange, and it is a catching up with a level of beingness, as well.
So you’re looking at this as a type of natural overall aliveness and, therefore, approaching it as a wholeness, straightaway, accepting it, or realizing you need to accept it, and so you are accepting it straightaway, as opposed to having to contend with whether that something or another is manufactured as a make believe or not. And, of course, maybe the scenario itself is fictitious, but the energetic behind that is real. And maybe that’s why one watches and is interested in that sort of stuff because there’s always a dynamic behind it that is meaningful in the overall aliveness of it all.
