We all know how frustrating it can be when we lose our phone signal and can’t make the connections we are trying to make. Well, the universe is trying to communicate with us, all day, every day, but we are usually so caught up in what we are doing that we don’t receive the call. And we also know that there is no end to the potential for daily life to distract us, and that it will only get worse in time. That leaves it up to us, as a personal choice, to make space in our lives, and in ourselves, to slow down and listen to the subtle communication that is always available to a connected life. Jeane: What I remember about my dream is it felt like I was trying to have a martial art class at the house, where I was living, but I couldn’t seem to get the signals quite right. It’s like one person would call up on the phone, but they’d be calling in when somebody else had just hung up and they couldn’t hear me, or get through to me.
And it’s like none of the lines were connecting right, like if people were trying to come they weren’t getting there, if they were trying to call there would be something blocking the call. It’s like I might hear a voice, and then it wasn’t there. And so no one was getting to the class on time.
It felt like this is related somewhat to something I was feeling physically, like there was too much heat or something, and it was jamming up the communications so that they just weren’t coming through right. That’s the main thing I remember. I know there was another dream before that, but I’ll have to see if it comes back.
John: The theme of the dreaming had to do with being able to take in the dynamic of the mixing pot of energies that are just naturally there, but our ability to take them in is limited only by the capacity of our nature to take and have mannerisms that get in the way; values, judgments, reactions.
And so what’s really going on, in your dream, is you’re trying to catch up and hold onto a very quiet, silent space, at a depth inside of yourself, and that in-between that you have all of this energetic that is going on, that has to do with trying to get something to be in a particular quality way, or a particularly cutting through, succinct way.
And the malaise of things, the mannerisms of things, that you can blame on things being too hot, or being this or being that, whatever it is, there’s always this malaise of things. You know, thought-upon-thought is a malaise of things. That’s getting in the way of keeping you from taking and pushing through to recognize something; that you have accepted a certain malaise of things that is keeping something out.
If you weren’t accepting the certain malaise of things, something could break through – but you’re accepting a certain malaise of things. You’re allowing a certain malaise of things to be in the way.
