i5e5It’s good to have time to prepare for a flood: grab certain things, put out some sand bags, find higher ground. But if that flood is internal, and comes from the energetics of newly opening, and awakening, inner aspects, the preparation is a bit different. We need to allow for expansion, we can’t bring certain ways with us that no longer fit, and it will take a little while to find a new state of equilibrium. Jeane: Then I had a dream where it feels like I’m two people: I’m this adolescent boy, and then I’m this adolescent girl that are living in a home. And the boy doesn’t feel very trustworthy. Seems like sometimes I’m one, and sometimes I’m the other, and sometimes I’m an observer.

At the same time the boy doesn’t seem trustworthy, I feel like I know things he doesn’t know. So I know where things are kept, or even things from the past are stored that belong to him, that are part of his identity that he doesn’t even seem to know that he still has, or has access to. So it feels like I’m explaining to him where things are in a certain room. And they even constitute certain resources for him.

Otherwise, it’s kind of an odd situation we’re living in; there are some adults around. It’s an old building with a lot of artifacts in it, and it feels like at some point I suddenly become aware that it’s going to be flooded. And it’s like I want to bring some things to him to take with us, in case of a flood, but I realize I haven’t even really grabbed my purse or a coat, and I’m trying to get us all to another building.

And, when we leave, because of the flood that’s going to come, and I know it’ll move through the whole building we were living in, you cover things up or mix things up. I’ve grabbed a few things, but I’m not even sure what and everything’s confused. And then we’re having to stay in a large room with other people.

When we get to that large room in some ways he acts like he doesn’t know me because it feels as though it gives him a certain power if other people don’t know who he knows. He can maneuver or manipulate a little bit more that way. And I’m more of an observer in the scene, which is a little confusing to me. And I realized I did get my coat or something. Or I didn’t get a coat, maybe I had grabbed my purse, but I’d left a coat behind, and instead I grabbed a jacket that’s much too large for me – and I realize is an old school jacket of one of the people that lives in the building. And when we all have to stay in one room, whoever originally wore that jacket will probably be there.

But I’m a little confused by the boy that lived in the house like kind of acting like he doesn’t know me once we’re in the larger room because we have to kind of sometimes sleep three and four in a bed there – because everybody’s kind of refugees from the storm – but he feels like that gives him some more power and with other people not knowing that we know each other, and not knowing what’s going on. It was just an odd little dream.

John: Well, it’s a dream that, first of all, identifies a quality or characteristic of the feminine nature, of your nature, that takes and is capable of absorbing, or taking in, a quality, or pulling together an energetic so that it causes a recognition, or a realization, to come out.

First of all it recognizes and acknowledges that this is the characteristic, or quality, of relatability that is deemed important, and that then goes through kind of a neurosis of feeling like it is losing its connection to do that. And so it’s evaluating whether the confusion that causes this connection to be lost is related to a sense of thinking that there is something more.

So you’re trying to sort this out, and you’re trying to sort this out in relationship to how big the spaciality is of what is going on. And it’s as if determining the spaciality determines how and where you are able to be. Because first of all it starts with the underlying recognition that the quality of being able to take in, as a type of absorptive energy, that quality of being able to take in that energy, to embody a quality of an energy, the embodying of it is what causes a connective awareness to unfold, to emerge, and for there to be a type of balance.

And that you’re taking the position that that’s somehow or another in jeopardy. And you’re coming to this conclusion, assuming that something is askew based upon a lack of recognized sight. Now, what is the recognized sight? Recognized sight is that you sense and feel inside of yourself that the process that’s involved is going to continue to keep pulling out more and more and more, and that it is designed and destined to do that. And that, if interrupted, something like that, then, just never becomes known like it can become known, or transpire.

And so you’re kind of taking and asking a question, as well, in terms of that is your core understanding. And then, from that core understanding, you’re asking the question: is there something greater, or bigger? In other words, is the spaciality designed to be bigger?

And so in trying to consider whether the spaciality is meant to be bigger, you’re trying to sort through that. And the way you’re sorting through that it lacks a clarity. It lacks a clarity. It’s trying to find an acceptance by going through a reaction, that lacks clarity. It brings up a neurosis and kind of is left in a spaciality where something is bigger, but doesn’t know what to make out of that.

carrotEvery day there is some “shiny” object that attracts our attention. Sometimes we immediately know why, other times the attraction is more mysterious. Sometimes we resist, and sometimes we succumb to the allure. This is a constant process within us, and so it can be useful to try and detect what aspect, within us, is the attraction speaking to? Is it the child in us? Or the male or female in us? Is it the seeker of comfort, or is it the seeker of challenge and adventure? The more we understand what we are attracted by, the more we will know our own motivations. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: In the last dream that I remember, I feel like I’ve gone to visit a girlfriend of mine, someone I’ve known since childhood. And then there’s some people that are there, too, and one of them is Jack Nicholson.

And he starts pursuing me. But he also has this substance with him. It’s a substance that turns things kind of crazy – and it can multiply and do other things. Like I remember once I even want to kind of get away from all this, so I go into another room. It’s like a bathroom, and I’m going to take a bath, and it’s kind of an elaborate bath, but he follows me in there. So I have to leave the bathroom.

Plus, I’ve noticed that sometimes the water comes from strange places on the wall and splashes, and I’m not sure about this anyway. Well, I kind of rebuff him again, even though sometimes I follow him around a little because I find him very attractive. But I always kind of pull away.

Then I feel like this is like almost too much temptation, so I’m going to get out of there. And I’ve arranged a plane to leave the island. So it feels like before I get on the plane, for some reason this crazy substance Jack has he’s put it down on a table, and I’ve taken some cooked food in this container and I’ve chopped off some of this substance and I put it in there, I’m going to take a little bit of it with me. He’s too distracted by what he’s doing to notice what I’ve done.

But then I realize, like I have to hurry and get on the plane. His friends and my friends have distracted him a little; no one seems to have noticed what I’ve done because they’ve decided they’re going to go to Samoa, or something, they have to catch their own plane. So I figure now I kind of got it, some of the substance in this container, and I can go get on my plane – before he notices, it’ll be gone.

John: Well, this is similar to the condition or energetic you had when you came out of meditation, where it was like something was peculiar in relationship to how you saw yourself able to function. It’s as if there was something, even though you couldn’t put your finger on it, of an effect that had happened. And so when you were trying to come out and go into sleep, or meditation, or from meditation into the quasi wakening back to sleep, you had these strange sensations that you couldn’t put your finger on, that seemed to be out of the blue.

Well, in your dream, you continue with this, in that it’s like there is an effect that is upon you that is causing your attention to be diverted in some fashion. And it’s some substance you can’t quite put your finger upon, but it is having its effect upon you, and is causing your attention to be diverted from how you would ordinarily see yourself as being.

In other words, you’re acting as if there is something that is in the environment, like a Jack Nicholson, that is causing an attention to be generated – against your will – as if there is some sort of spellbinding quality that he is perpetrating. And that’s how your mind is portraying, is trying to explain to you, that’s how your mind is trying to explain to you this alteration in the energetic vibration.

And that, in the process of trying to come up with something as a cope-able, peculiarized image that portrays what it is that you are experiencing somewhere inside of yourself, the interesting thing is that you are wondering if it’s some sort of secret substance because you didn’t get a chance to denote it specifically, you know, like in a mental masculine way of pinpointing it. It’s an effect somehow, but you’re not able to aspect it in any degree. And so you are, in a subjective way, pondering it as a secret hidden substance.

brellaadWe could think of endless examples, but here are two: how can you appreciate money if you have never been poor? Or how can you appreciate happiness if you have never been sad? Having the contrasting image, or knowledge, of any particular state is crucial to seeing, and understanding, the state we are in. And once we have the understanding, we can continuously move in the preferred direction, as a way of defining, and refining, whatever state we seek to be in. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: I don’t remember so much. I guess the best way to describe initially, it felt like when I came out of meditation, I did that after like two hours, and I came over and got into bed.

And then, as soon as I went to sleep, it felt like some energy that I feel like when meditation was kind of on my side, so to speak, had followed me over to the bed. And now I had to contend with it – and it was like it was against me.

When it was on the outer, it didn’t work. And I was having to kind of fight it now. I mean, it was even like a person; it was like something that had been on your side before, now wasn’t on your side because it was in the outer and contending against you, whereas on the inner it felt okay.

And I don’t remember that much about it. It was partly red. There was a man, but I remember thinking this was odd it had suddenly changed from where it felt like it was on your side to where it was out here and now it was fighting you.

John: So that was like a vision or something. You set in motion, when you meditate you set in motion a contrast world, or a type of effect that can cause you to have realizations, and recognitions, of things. That’s why you can have visions, you can have all kinds of little things that can happen, that kind of are almost reciprocal, in fashion, to somewhere, somehow, in some way in which you had been – in terms of an access within.

Because, in the outer, your attention is captured by everything that’s in the stimuli world of mind/senses. And so the empty space of something isn’t possible, in some other capacity of stillness. So when you come out of something that is actually where you’ve gone to some other depth within, you can kind of have a lingering effect of a quickening that’s possible, yet almost as if you don’t have any recollection of how all of that is, yet there still can be the malingering of something like that.

Thus the sensation when you came to bed that there was kind of some sort of strange effect. You can’t call it a deja vu to something from within. Instead, you have a reaction to having come back into the plane of senses – and are finding that to be kind of peculiar.
