It is often said that the full journey of a human being is to return to its maker. But, most visions of the afterlife don’t bring us that far back, they seem more of an interim place, or state. Yet if we consider that the whole of the universe is in process, and is in evolution, and is refining as it goes, the return of the human to its maker would be as a pure energetic state with the distillation of all it has learned. And if everything returns to the source of its arising, we will all get there in the end. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)
John: So I am shown, in the meditation, that there is a way of dreaming, in the outer, to a recognition of a greater consciousness that is able to be reached within when one stops identifying with external projections.
This virtue is recognizable in that it is not a foreign projection. So it’s recognized as being possible, even though we are in manifestation and our real essence is a higher self that is on the other side.
So, to be more specific, mankind is able to relate to the principle of timelessness and spaciousness as being important. In other words, this is something that can be understood. I mean, you could say that a good Christian aspires to this in the afterlife. In other words, we all have a sense of something that’s outside of the modality that we exist in. I mean, there are things to talk about this being like a dense plane, and that when we get beyond whatever it is that impacts us, we find a higher and deeper quality of our own being.
But there’s something missing. There’s something missing. In other words, what I’m saying is that you can have this whole sense of a timelessness and a spaciousness and I think you can have this as a part of what is noodling around at a depth inside of ourselves. And it is something that has been aspired to forever and ever by man. And that’s what these religions are all about. They all look to this sort of thing as the end all, be all to some sort of process.
But they miss a step. They miss the next step afterwards. In other words, it’s as if mankind evolves one baby step at a time. And this step is closer at hand, but that means then that there’s the next step that’s opening up. And that step one didn’t have much information about; one can see this step, but one can’t see the next step.
And so all I can say is that this next step in consciousness – it remains kind of hidden. It’s not possible to talk about it, or to take and denote it and give it more consciousness. The reason why we can tell that there is a timelessness and a spaciousness is we can see a certain actionability. We don’t know how to sit in the stillness with that.
We find that, in terms of everything resonating against the heart, that we come to a point where we can function with a sensitized heart that takes in more, and more, and more of a wholeness, we learn to deal with time, which is thoughts, and spaciousness, which is matter, which is the parameters of things, the container energy, which is manifestation. We learn to work with that in a way that doesn’t impinge the heart.
And the way that we try to work with it so that it doesn’t impinge the heart is we try to work with it in an actionable sense. And thus the heart notices it, but isn’t, because something about the way we are approaching it is empty enough or something, the heart doesn’t feel any pangs, or remorse, or moods or something. That’s how we try to sort this out, which is to say that a human being can accept the principle of timelessness and spaciousness, and seems to incorporate various conceptual tools, such as forgiveness, in order to drop the clutches that we may have that are too dense in the time and space, or the recognition that there is a redemption through grace or something that kind of takes us out of our spell that we’re living out.
Or, to use another way of exampling it, a Christian is able to know that there is an afterlife and aspires to this as being accessible upon going to heaven. The idea of salvation is deemed to exist when a human being accepts God, as a home within, beyond the plane of human existence. Or to put this in other words, to talk about an actionable consciousness, free from the chains of human existence, is not a foreign principle to mankind.
A human being has a sense of the existence of a greater omniscience and omnipresence of a creator. The one word that is fouling all of this up is “actionable,” you know, doing something, a doingness. I mean you can have a certain kind of doingness in a timelessness and a spaciousness – I saw that a few nights ago – and that the heart can accept that. But that has to go, too; there’s something about that.
When that goes, that’s the next step in consciousness. This is not really understandable yet because there isn’t a frame of relatable reference for this to be identified. In other words, you can actually kind of see yourself in a timelessness and spaciousness in an actionable way, but take the actionable way out then what do you have? Because you can’t make something experienceable for understandable purposes.
So in the timelessness or/and spaciousness of the higher self, there is still an actionability we hold on to for identification purposes. And the step to so much more, beyond timelessness and spaciousness and the actual vibrational manner we still hold on to is a foreign idea to our consciousness at this time.
To endorse this next step we must drop all actionability to have a relationship to the stillness. We don’t know how to do this because we do not have tools to discern stillness, which is deemed by a human being as intangible – and we work with something that’s always tangible.
Emptiness, non being, nothingness, just falls into this intangible area, so that therefore it’s kind of unfathomable. Even though the concept of a timelessness or spaciousness of the soul is something we can note. The principle of stillness, a whole way of referencing it, is as an emptiness, or a nothingness, is foreign because we see ourselves in existence as something that is actionable. Thus the idea that there is an afterlife, which takes us out of our conundrum, into a home where we belong.
