A Peculiar Process

Yesterday we had a dream where there were too many keys and the right one couldn’t be found to get in the new house. Here we have a door on the second level of a building that has no stairs – so no access. This is the challenge of our journey: we all have higher floors in our house of life, but can we find the right keys, or can we build the stairs needed to give us access to these higher, inner realms? (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: What’s frustrating is I had these two dreams. And the first one was a long involved dream and I felt like, when I woke up, I lost that. But the second dream, it’s like I was getting cables and other things so that I could make whatever change had happened in the first dream shift to another level as well. But I just can’t remember that first dream.

John: What you got the cables for was, this is your psyche’s way of telling you that what you did was you lost it because you weren’t able to hold the container grounding – and that’s what the cables are for.

In other words, you know that, somehow or another, you’re meant to be able to bring something through. Well, you’re not bringing it through, you’re meant to be grounded so that it can come through. Interestingly enough, who would have thought that that would be the theme of the dreaming?

Last night, in my meditation, I had a wonderful experience going on. But when I came out of it, I couldn’t write it down. I kept thinking if I can just catch one inkling I’d have the whole thing, but I couldn’t even catch one inkling. So I thought: is it possible after, gosh, all this time, that I’ll go to bed now and won’t have a dream because I didn’t set the note? I kind of tried to hang out out there, even, for an extra half hour or more as if it would come back, or something would come back. But no, it was gone. Just totally out of it.

So when I came to bed, I had this dream in which I am hanging out talking to an easy going guy as I walk with him to a place where he lives. This place is like a downtown new area, it’s kind of nice. And then this old building is there. So he’s in the midst of things. It’s kind of amazing that there’s this old building.

I’m not at all interested in what he is talking about, because my attention is somewhere else energetically. The dream doesn’t portray where it’s at, or anything, other than the fact that I’m bored. So when I come to his place, it is a building with no doors to go in. You kind of have a straight wall going up, and then there’s a door on the second floor. No porch or anything, no steps coming down, just a door up there off the ground, next to a window. In other words, no access.

Even if you’re up there, you can step out, you could fall down. So I say to him: how do you get in? And he says he climbs through a window that he takes out from the ground level. He mentioned some sort of peculiar process that I can’t really follow, in terms of how even from inside he has to use this process to get to where he lives up above.

So this is a conversation that for me is kind of strange and flat. I have really no interest in it whatsoever. It’s hard to focus to hear him, and so the attempts that I’m making are more or less polite than anything. So he invites me in. And I say to him: I am antsy; I need to go and do something else.

So, the meaning is, this is a dream where something hit, or something is too much in the head, for example, or however you would say it that causes your energy to be off the ground. And as I look at how I am, in an out-of-touch, unreliable way, I hear a voice and it says: talk to you later – as something in my nature goes away.

Deeper meaning: connecting to and hearing what is coming through me vibrationally is the subject. The problem is being pointed out in this dream: I’m energetically out of touch.
