When we feel tired we tend to blame ourselves or our immediate surroundings: we stayed up too late, we got up too early, the dog started barking, we’ve got a lot on our minds. But the energy of our higher self also gets drained by the emotional entanglements we feel when we get personally involved in events around us, or from interactions with others. Each of these is like a detour that makes our journey longer – and the longer our journey the more fuel we require. Jeane: So, in my earliest dream, I’m living in a house and it feels like a two- or three-storey house. And I have one bedroom on an upper layer, maybe just above that is a room where a little man lives that’s been teaching me some martial arts. He’s almost in the attic, I think.
And he just has a certain time of day or night that he’ll pick and I meet him, and then he’s giving me lessons. But he may pick some really odd times, and then I have to do something like go through these drawers and find something to wear. And sometimes the drawers I’m looking through are on the floor I’m on, and sometimes they’re down on the ground floor in another room where a cousin comes and stays – because I know going into the room once and trying not to wake up my cousin while I found a drawer and opened up two or three drawers trying to find something I could wear for the lesson.
At some point, some kind of ruffian-type people that know this guy come to the house, and they do something to drive him out. And, while they’re gone, one of them is up in his room stealing stuff and having people wire him money orders that are essentially stealing my teacher’s money. And he even has a woman up there who’s helping him. And he has one or two friends that are in the house that are trying to intimidate everybody while he’s up there doing that. And I get really furious about this, I’m not going to allow him to do it – everybody else just seems to be letting it happen.
And I go up and I think I kind of bully the woman out. I see that they have these like money orders that have been wired into the room. This is the form they’re taking stealing from him. As soon as they get them all gathered up, they’re going to leave. So I pick these transfers of money or whatever they are up and tear them up, which makes this guy want to come after me now, and I go down to the ground level floor where I feel I might have a little more protection. But I seem kind of adamant that I’m not going to let them get away with it and don’t understand why everybody else is.
John: So they’re draining his account and your whole scenario was the various types of clothes that you kept in different areas of the house for whatever area you’d be doing the tai chi in. So you had to have the clothes ready all the time.
So you basically had clothes to wear on every level, and he lived at the very top of the house. And so now they’re trying to drain the money from the top of the house. So the money represents psyche, and the various clothes that you wear, that are part of being impacted for these classes, that’s the matter that is being affected by the psyche. And so on all of these different levels you’re having to contend with the way the psyche affects the matter.
In other words, you have to wear these clothes to be energized to do this sort of thing. He brings this down from a high level, but somehow or another that’s being drained. Why is it being drained?
If you take psyche energy and it goes out there and doesn’t affect matter, it doesn’t have a rapport with matter, in other words it’s not sustainable or maintainable, then it gets drained. It’s like if you’re trying to talk to someone who is really, really dense, and you’re talking to them in a way that is stirring a lot of energy and they keep blowing it and shorting out, they’re going to drain you. I mean, that’s how that would be in an active sense, but this is something in an inner sense with you.
So you’re affected by psyche energy that’s affecting the matter of things, but yet something is still happening that’s causing you to get drained. Something is taking the energy or usurping the energy, that you need, in order to pull the inner into the outer – or the psyche into matter – in order to maintain a proper rapport. It’s not a dialogue, it’s a rapport; it’s a connective rapport.
And so you have to look at that. Like during the day you’re coming and you’re hitting exhaustion levels sooner than you should be hitting them; you’re feeling drained. And, occasionally, you’re almost like acting like you need something to pull that back together. But then when you take and you go and you do the tai chi, your focus and your attention in terms of doing all of that, and working with this guy, is an affliction. It’s a process by which something is being enhanced, is being filled, is catching the chi, or the psyche energy, even, if you want to call it that.
But then something occurs in which you’re not able to maintain, you’re not holding on to it, you’re getting drained, which means you’ve got something askew in terms of the relatability.
So your dream is portraying where you’re at in terms of a process. It means that you are developing access and qualities that are opening up on many different levels. But, at the top level, where it really counts, and where it has to continue to be maintained and sustained, there’s a dissipation going on. So that level is a level that you haven’t quite ca
