A gas station in a desert is an awesome image for the human story, because here we see a dream character trying to economically develop this deserted area, putting lots of energy into it. And here we are, humans born on planet Earth, using all our adult lives in creating things that can’t possibly last because they’re made of matter, and matter always decays or changes form. The only thing that can be built for eternity is our energetic self, and our lives should be spent developing that. Jeane: As soon as I open my eyes I seem to lose my first dream, but I hold onto the second one.
I think at the beginning of the second dream I’m going out into a desert area where we have a ranch, or land. And, initially, when I go out into the land mostly I go to visit a horse that’s in a corral, but it’s like a large corral like on a buff, or a butte, or something.
And then I go from there down to an area on the desert floor where the family has something like a little gas station, you know grocery store hookup, that’s out there in the desert. And then I go to like the main house the family has, and while the rest of us are away that’s being run by a cousin of mine.
But when I go to see what he’s doing, I’m kind of observing at this point, and it feels like it must be a man, I don’t know whether it’s my brother or my husband, whoever is really in charge of everything, but who’s also always away so the cousin’s the one who’s in charge of this particular area. He’s come to kind of see what the cousin’s doing.
What my cousin’s been doing is he’s been really kind of going around a little manically trying to really develop this land in the desert and grow the buildings and buildup the structures where the gas station and other things are, and has a garage going, and this and that, and plans for more. And it’s like we’re actually trying to talk to him to back down or mellow out because I realize that the family member that actually owns all the property doesn’t want to see it developed, wants it kind of left as it is.
And so I’m kind of observing my cousin’s motivation, and it feels like maybe he’s being pushed by his wife’s family or somebody else to develop something and put his mark on it, but he’s just working all these hours in an area that’s not really that supportive of the efforts, and is not even really what we want done with the property but he can’t seem to hear it. You almost feel like he’d fight you, or knock you over the head to go do it.
And I’m trying to wonder what I need to do to get him to where he can actually hear, because I can see that in the long run he’s going to wear himself down and, you know, I’m trying to do something to even make him a little unconscious for a few minutes so that maybe he can actually hear or see what he’s doing where he’s just kind of going at this manic pace creating things. And that he needs to just stop and see what he’s doing to himself with all that.
John: In this particular case, you’re working with two zones of your being. And the one zone enables you to catch up more with the other zone, has to do with inner power – and that’s where you deal with the horse. You visited it in the overall, and so you had some insight then as to what that was all about, in terms of the power behind everything that exists.
And then when you take and you go with that kind of as part of your being, which gives you a certain kind of clarity, and that’s a clarity that comes, because when you pick up speed, when you pick up power, when you pick up proper inner power, you also pick up insight or light, a knowingness that’s within the light.
And so when you then come back into the basics of the energetics that we’re inclined to deal with, in terms of the way the world functions with gravity, so you have expansion and contraction, and so then that power gets transformed. A person takes a component, or portion, of that and spins it in the outer. And the connection, or the means, or the basis for being able to do that is the subrogation of the true power into, in the image of the dream, the gas station, which is an energetic form that has a viability to it.
You know, it can feel things, it can sustain things, but only so far. And when it is doing that, in an outer capacity, it is actually an abuse of the energy. And so from the inner side of yourself you’re able to talk to this outer motif of one’s self, and say that this can’t continue, because this is on a tangent, and this is taking the viable energy and power that you need, that is you, from deep within, and that opens up for you to some degree in the outer – instead of bringing even more of it through, by taking and expending it in terms of stretching out in the environment of manifestation.
From the perspective that you have on the inner, I mean this is just a wide open plane, and there’s the wonderful horse in the overall, and then in manifestation it’s like a little enclave in a desert area. You know, it’s basically empty, and the only value that exists, which is a fleeting value, is the value that this person is making out of this place with the gas station as his basic means and connection to something that is able to feel the viability, but only up to a point, because it’s a misuse, and misappropriation, on this side, of that energy that is available in a more overall way on the soul level.
So that’s what’s kind of going on.
