How can it be that, in the face of this massive universe, an individual life can matter? Because we are each unique in our talents, sensitivities, and perspectives. The culture has it wrong: our physical bodies are fundamentally the same – it’s our inner individuality that matters most. We need to awaken to that idea, but not as a personal identity; our uniqueness is only valuable when it is put in service to the whole. John: I had the experience of an energetic within which seemed to descend upon my being, and upon those in a similar frame of reference. I noticed that this occurred rather shabbily if the circumstances were of no real significance – in terms of what and how we dealt with things.

And so if I am in a low-energy state only, all that I seem to access, or contend with, is some menial mannerism that has no focus really to it, that’s kind of all over the place. So what I access, when in this condition, is rather banal.

However, the situation that can be rather ordinary also has an aspect about it that requires one to take on more attention that what meets the eye. In other words, you could go deeper within it. It seems, then, that at that time you pull through what is needed to address the greater beingness.

This is a connection that I notice drew to it what was needed, as needed. In other words, you had to look in that way, and have a need to look in that way, or something that shook you through an amnesia so that you looked in that way, and, when you did, things came through, into you, to know.

An example of what I’m talking about popped into my head as a dream-like image. I am part of a gang, or a group, that goes around and robs. To only sit around and talk about this the flow stays upon a very shallow frame of reference. In other words, it’s kind of even unacceptable as an activity and kind of stupid. And when it’s like that, yeah, it probably would be good to just sit around and talk about it and keep it to yourself.

However, because this is a nature in each of us that touches life in an even greater way, when we take it to the next level, beyond just the mere speculation of what can be done, we open up an awareness that is needed, that is reciprocally corresponding to an insight that is needed, and a quality that is designed, in the overall. So we need to open up to flow in that regard.

So the purpose of something like this, the meaningful purpose, is the reason life works like this is each of us has a particular mannerism, in terms of how we are as a thought of God, or presence, or quality inside of ourself, that we must own in manifestation. And we are meant to live that from within.

In other words, by saying it’s lived from within, you need to actually awaken it from within so that it can be lived as a knowingness in life. And when we are able to do that, we come closer to what this is truly all about in an intertwined way. When it’s intertwined, in terms of the whole, it doesn’t matter how this appears to others because they can only look at it in their personal motif.

So, as the dream purports, we are thieves who are meant to take advantage of situations, but the idea that we’re only taking advantage of a situation is a perspective that others have because they only look at things in a way that is personally correlated, in which things are segregated, and there is the me, myself, and I perspective.

So they don’t see how this sort of thing actually is part of a fabric of the whole, or a higher meaningfulness in what appears. And those who have, so to speak, a realization inside of themselves to know that things aren’t what they appear, do not judge and know how a book is not something that is understood based upon its covers.

To say it another way, everyone seems to have the same potentiality, from within, for an energetic essence to come into their being – in a particular designed way – and bring them to an energetic essence that they are meant to be, which is, when you catch up with it, copied into life, so to speak, as an inner access correlated to all of life in a non-personal way.

To get in trouble is to putrefy what is meant to be by personalizing the energetic. To do that takes a person out of a relevant context, and away from an intertwined naturalness, that is designed for the whole.

cosmos1A spiritual path often can seem to be a yearning to reconnect with what created us – and much of it is. Yet we don’t often consider the process from creation’s perspective. As this dream analysis delves into, the outplay of manifestation is the way that creation is trying to fulfill Its need: for greater consciousness, greater connection, and a greater capability to “see” what is happening in its farthest reaches. How does creation do that? Through our consciousness, through the human design. That’s why we are all indispensable to the plans of creation. Or can be, if we choose to play our part. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: The schematic apparently is, if one was to take an underlying theme of what is being dreamt by the both of us, one would say that the theme has to do with something that is to unfold, that is intended to unfold, that is intended to come into cognition.

And the theme tends to also, by the very fact that the theme has to do with a conduct, or an action, or a mannerism that is sitting latent, that has to be caught up with, that rises like a phoenix from the ashes into a type of way of being in the outer.

The theme seems to invoke that apparently we have work to do or, in the outer, we don’t just go into a silence or an emptiness. We have to catch up with that silence and that emptiness, but because we’re in the outer, we also are here for a kind of purpose that has to be done in relationship to the whole.

In other words, we don’t sit in the inner state of a silence and an emptiness. And even though one can say that they kind of know that, it took a visionary kind of thing in my meditation dream to jar that loose.

I call it a meditation dream, but it’s a type of vision because I’m answering a question and clearing up a misconception. In other words, I looked at certain symbolisms, like the element of four as an aspect of completion, and in the dream I saw the vision of this completeness and felt the vibration of it.

And it was like four pillars, or four columns, and those four columns, when you allowed yourself to feel that and be in the space of that wholeness, that depicted a complete wholeness, a complete letting go. There was no need to have to break that space, to do anything in particular, because it was so soothing.

But once one hits this state that’s soothing, all of a sudden I just realized all I had to do was relax and realize, holy cow, this is totally fulfilling, totally complete. Once I had learned to do that, I realized, all of a sudden, that there is still something else. And it’s like a singular thing. This something else is a singular thing.

And so this something else, first I had to visualize what it looked like on the inside, and then I had to see how it looks on the outside – because the inner and the outer do reflect each other to some degree.

Without the inner connection, that outer thing could look like an attachment or a haywirism that is functioning and flowing in a particular way, you know, this is the conceptualization, it would be good if it just got the memo to just sit in a state of quietness, which is the state where the depth of God supposedly resides, at least on an inner quality way.

But in manifestation, the counter reflection of that, or the flip side of the coin, is slightly different. And so what I learned was, on the inner, the inner is constantly trying to expand its awareness, or type of wisdom, and it is the one thing that seems to lack a counterbalance.

In other words, in the consciousness of the whole there is something that has a completeness on the inner, that’s a quietness, a hidden treasure that could long to be known but is hard to see itself because it’s in a state of quietness and silence.

And out of that arises things that are expanding and in motion. It’s a consciousness that is stirring from the stillness. And that consciousness that is stirring from the stillness leads to a greater being, an expanding of the whole, a greater consciousness, and is aspected, from the inner, as a quality of wisdom.

Now, wisdom is a form of inner power because that is coalesced and linked to everything that exists. It isn’t deviated in any capacity, and so it is a form of all-pervasive power.

Completeness reflected in the outer is symbolized by the element called gold. Now, what is interesting is those who are on a spiritual path think that they need to hit this calmness, this state, and that their real home and place where they need to be resides on this other side. But whatever this other side is, is in motion, constant motion of expanding and is insatiably looking for greater and greater wholeness, and greater and greater wisdom of itself.

I hadn’t expected to see something like this. When you turn that around and you counter reflect that into manifestation, then you have the impetus behind man who is running this way and that way, trying to do this, trying to do that.

But his functions in this microcosmic way are all discombobulated, but there is a quality about it that is counter reflected, or the flip side of the coin, from this state of a calmness and wholeness that is exuding out, that is man exuding out and acting out in manifestation.

And so the conduct and the actions of man in manifestation are not as dismissible as it would seem. They are fractured parts of something that functions without a boundary, like the four-pegged thing that was totally complete and totally quiet because, in this particular case, the balance was established as an aspect called manifestation.

So this part acts insatiably with a need to make itself known, or to expand, or to evolve, and the counterbalance to that, the thing that brings that into cadence, is creation where it acts out, flows out in its multiplicities of what appears to be separation and duality that are the flip side of that.

Now, what is it in the outer that perfectly reflects the flip side of this? It’s the symbol gold. And so when man is taking and doing things, what he’s really doing is he is, in his perverse way of thinking about it, trying to find a balance, or a cadence, or a completeness for himself – even though when he goes out and he gets a job, or he strives to do this, or he strives to do that, in the big picture way of looking at it it’s idiotic, it’s a vanity, it’s trite, it goes nowhere, it’s a stupidity.

But is it really? Because all of those little bits and pieces of this, that, and the other flying this way and that way in an outer-manifested way are aspects of the divine consciousness stretching out, basically becoming a greater whole.

Well, when I discovered this inside I realized that this kind of defies all kinds of principles in which man has come to define his world. Puritan Christian ethics would have you believing that you have to tilt the perspective towards “getting out of Dodge,” getting from manifestation to somewhere else because that’s where your real home is at.

You wouldn’t have a breath that comes down into creation, for some reason, and then back up to the Godhead, or the creator, on the in-breath, and then hitting that interval that’s a type of completion up there, or quietness up there, and then back down into creation again where the out-breath in-breath interval has this longing and separation and duality then as a consequence of it in a kind of amnesia – you wouldn’t have this if it wasn’t important in terms of this whole process. And it is counterbalanced, and the thing that counterbalances it is a quality of the heart.

So in my way of dreaming I realize that first of all you reach a state in which you have this quietness, and this relaxation, and total soothingness, and emptiness, and at ease, only to discover that there’s still something else trying to be in motion.

And then that something else that is in motion is counterbalanced between inner and outer, in terms of their being a meaningful correspondence. And then when you discover that, there’s still something missing, which surprised me, and this part I cannot describe, and it has to do with the heart because it’s the heart that has to sort all of that. And the heart of hearts, or the inner depth of the inner depth, or however you would call that, is the next thing from that because in the expansion, and in the action of man in creation, there still is something more.

In other words, you become empty in order to be able to be of use, in order to be able to catch up with how it is, and what it is, that you’re able and meant to be. But then, when you catch up with that, then you have to also catch up with a linkage and value. You have to pull that together. And that occurs in the heart of hearts, and that is something that I could only sense was something more yet.

So basically what happened was I hit the state of calmness, which was necessary, which is, from a conceptual position of my being, I guess, deemed to be where one is going, only to find that there is more when one gets there.

That one has to go from there into the multiplicity of things in an acting out, only to find that all of that has a certain discombobulation about it even though it’s counterbalancing the inner into the outer – but it can’t quite do that unless there is a certain quality of the heart of hearts, or the inner heart, that also opens up then as a consequence of those actions so that that then pulls in a greater cadence. So that was like a whole visionary event.

vortexIn these dreams, Jeane continues her dance with the masculine energies, coming close and backing off in one scenario, and missing appointments in another. If a third dream from the night had been remembered, it might have even taken her a step closer. This is a good example of how each dream in the course of a night can further the inner conversation we have with ourselves. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: It felt like I dreamed a lot last night, kind of repetitious dreams. In the earlier dream it felt like there was this man that is always kind of intriguing, and available and unavailable at the same time, and I seem to be having kind of an approach-and-avoid relationship with him. And all very public.

It’s almost like all of us involved are aware of what everybody else is doing in a way. It’s almost like I approach him and then I back off before it can go any further.

Then there is some kind of scene where it’s almost like he approaches a group of us women. We’re all lying on these cots or bed or something, next to a railing in a very open room. And it feels like he comes and he’s with us, but then it’s almost like we go unconscious and we wake up in another space where he is. But we’re more separate now rather than all of us women being together with him.

That’s about all I remember of that dream.

John: You are describing the effect of how… In this case the guy is affecting a group of women, right? And so the guy is like a teacher, and what he is doing is causing something to shift in terms of the space that it is in, right?

And because you see something shift in terms of the space… well, it is not what you expect, right? It’s not in keeping with the flow that you’re accustomed to is it?

It leaves you feeling confused because it is not something that you’re accustomed to. You’re being shifted in a way that isn’t in keeping with how you are used to, or accustomed, to see things unfold. The setting is more like, there’s a group of women and you have a certain cohesion together.

You’re laying down together, and maybe you each come in slightly different ways, but by and large there’s a similitude with you. I mean, you’re all lying down. You’re all going along with what is unfolding in a particular way.

Then he comes along, and what he does disrupts that and creates a certain kind of confusion.

In your dream this is throwing you off. It’s throwing everybody off. But of course you’re only relating in terms of you, but it is a bit much for everybody.

So your dream only goes up to the particular point where you’re thrown off. It doesn’t say anything more than that in terms of what that causes to come out, or come up, when you’re thrown off. So it’s one step in the process. I wonder if your other dreams go further?

Jeane: Well, in this dream it feels like I’m at a house in a neighborhood. I almost feel new in the neighborhood. I’m approached along with some other women by a man who wants us to participate in something where we will have to fill out forms on people.

So he’ll bring the forms by, and we have certain meetings, and maybe we go to some place around the neighborhood, and we get the information to fill out the forms by meeting with people.

There’s a man who’s supposed to participate in this, but he’s not able to make that first meeting, so we try to schedule an appointment with him. But then we forget it. Then it feels like we suddenly try to do something in the house because I’m kind of new there.

Suddenly I get pulled out to go to a meeting. Of course, it doesn’t feel that interesting. It’s almost like the census or something. Do you know what I mean? It’s forms that have to be filled out, but they don’t necessarily make that much sense to you, or you thought it would be interesting in the beginning, but it’s not very interesting, really. It just kind of takes up time and meetings.

And then I’ve gone from the house into work, and I know my friend who’s a physician is there, and there are other people at work. And at work it feels like I keep trying to get things done, and I get interrupted, or have meetings that I’ve missed. And then somebody is telling me that I missed this meeting with this guy to fill out the forms again.

I swear no one even told me about this meeting. It’s like seven something in the morning, and it’s before I would normally work. I never remember scheduling it, and yet I keep getting told I missed it. And they don’t want me to miss it one more time, but then I don’t even know I have it.

I almost feel like you could lose your job over this, but no one even tells me about it, and it’s just confusing because it feels like there are all these things to do, and all these places I’m going to, from one place to another at work, and I just don’t have it down as far as getting there at the right time to get things done.

John: Where your last dream left off you’re now trying to sneak up on this, and first of all it’s like your routine in life involves having to attend a meeting, or there is a meeting that’s set up – it’s kind of casually done – that involves a guy that’s important for bringing something through.

And you to begin with just blow it off. You completely disregard it. It doesn’t even register. In other words, you knew that something like this was to happen and it doesn’t register. And then it’s as if this was more important than you at that time realized, because it comes up again.

It actually never really went away. It’s just that it percolates and rises to the surface in some aspect of the way you feel yourself. And this pattern that bugs and needles you, is catalytically trying to cause something, that you carry, and the way that you live, to awaken in a new way.

You know that something in the setting has to change. You’re recognizing the fact that this meeting has to happen now, and you’re affected by the way your sense of all of this won’t go away now.

And so you’re still creeping up on something that before you took it up to a particular point, then didn’t realize that there was even more. The dream just stopped there. And then in this dream, you blow it off to begin with, but you are not allowed to blow it off. And so now the scenario is pressed upon you more; that you know that you have to ultimately pay attention.

At this point, in this aspect of the dreaming, you haven’t yet gotten to the point where you’re paying attention to it. It’s pent up. The suspense is building. It’s kind of like a condition that one carries when they know they need to do something, and they’re just not doing it.

It’s almost like it has its own crescendo that builds up and builds up until you do it. It bugs you because you just can’t let it go. This is building up. Going forward, do you add more to it?

Jeane: It felt like I finally had sat down. I was writing things down to get them straight, and then I was going to phone him myself to see if I could set up an appointment, even though I might tell him I don’t think it’s that interesting to do what we’re doing with these forms.

But at least I can be aware that I’ve set up the time and keep it, or schedule it, on a day he is coming in anyway.

John: For you to have carried this all the way through, I wished you would have done that. Instead, you took it up to a particular point where something hadn’t yet broken through, and it would have been nice to see how it breaks through.

It would have been nice to gain a sense of what that whole new way feels like, in the overall, as opposed to the sense of the change itself.
