212esIt seems clear that things are speeding up: what used to take decades to happen, now can unfold within months. So, is it wise to put our faith and trust in a target that is constantly shifting, as the outer world does? It would seem to be a safer strategy to put our faith and belief in universal things, those things that remain constant over the billions of years. And that is just what religions and paths seek to offer us: ways to reconnect to the universal energies, and truths about them, that will be the safety and fulfillment of our ongoing journey.  (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: So, in this dream, a person is trying to take away a kind of a precocious kitten that’s on a table. And, what I’m doing is, I’m taking a hand and I keep hitting the kitten’s head down as if I can change its gaze; its focus, and its attention, but it seems to be in some sort of strange trance.

So the idea is you take the kitten away, because the kitten isn’t acting like a kitten needs to be. He seems to be stuck on something. Then, suddenly, I realize that the kitten is paying attention to a weasel that I hadn’t noticed right away. The weasel is sneaking up on a salami I am holding.

So, as I move away from the table, the weasel follows. The weasel does not want to give up on the salami he was fixated upon. I try to push the weasel, who is following me, away, which causes the weasel to respond by biting me. I don’t think of a weasel as biting me, you know. I am so surprised by how forward the weasel is, in its adamant fixation over the salami, that it would bite me for having gotten in the way, that I wake up.

As I settle back, pondering the meaning of this, in terms of what is changing and unfolding, I suddenly see a flash image of something so much more that it’s almost mind boggling because it’s such a shift, and such a change. In other words, I see sugar prices suddenly increase by over 40% in one day. In other words, things are speeded up, and it’s easy to conclude that there’s a haywire-ism, in terms of the reflections of things, because one has gotten lost in a fixation.

The meaning is, is that which was bottled up, energetically, has suddenly shifted. To begin with, before making itself present, there was a sneaky, slinking, stalking kind of energetic; in other words, not really in a quietness. In this particular case I have the kitten, and the kitten is not acting right. And then I come to find out that what I hadn’t been paying attention to, that is also happening, is you have this weasel. I’m not able to relate to the kitten or the weasel simultaneously because they’re intertwined.

The kitten is the usual reflection, the weasel is the new inflection, and my attention is missing this because I’m fixated on the kitten that’s not acting right. So the dream is suggesting that I am paying attention to a reflective distraction, and not noticing that change is afoot, in that it has  kind of has snuck up on me or, in other words, there’s the reflection, and then there’s inflections to the reflection. There’s the outer reflection, and then I can realize that there’s an even deeper inflection.

Now I suppose if I wanted to critique that deeper inflection, I can critique it by saying that it is a type of vibration yet. And so it’s as if the stillness is not being the stillness, and I’m seeing it within that there is that going on.

Well, really, what’s going on is that there is an inflection that is deeper, coming from a deeper stillness, that is affecting the reflections that are of a lesser stillness, or a greater density or vibratoriness.

And so, I suppose that, if you’re looking around and you’re seeing things acting up and whatnot, and you’re reacting as if the outer is the end all, be all to things, even though you should know that the inner comes into the outer, and that you also should know that God doesn’t self-destruct, that that which is the universe, or however you want to describe it, goes on and on and on and on and on. So then this idea that there’s something haywire… are these just games that we have to play in terms of getting closer and closer to the ultimate stillness?

Because to be reactive or shocked is to not let go to the inner stillness. To say there is something amiss with the inner stillness, because the vibration that’s coming out which reflect into manifestation, and to conclude that they’re disconcerting, in other words, that things are being torn to pieces as a result, is not letting go to an even deeper stillness within. Because what’s the worse that can happen?

I mean it used to be, on the Sufi path, you would say that to the individual. What’s the worse thing that can happen? Well, what is there that you could lose? Like in a shipwreck you can even lose your life – so that’s the worse thing that can happen.

Well, does that mean that everything goes kaphlooey? The suggestion is is that you have to be willing to lose all of it. Well, why would manifestation have to be any different? Why wouldn’t we have to lose all of our concepts about manifestation in order to catch up with a deeper stillness?

So the questions that come up is, am I missing out on an even deeper stillness within, the need at this time being this deeper stillness, in order to offset the intensifying inflections affecting the usual reflections? And, if so, is the deeper stillness calling for a greater letting go which would be needed to absorb the changes that are afoot vibrationally?

234gesWe all know the feeling of being in chaos in our lives, and we all have baggage from the arc of our experiences. What happens to them? And why does time heal our profound hurts? At one level, it is because we have processed the intensity of that energy through our systems so that it no longer has a hold on us. And that healing always comes from within. In this dream we can see the mechanic of it, where the dreamer finds herself in chaos, and literally engulfed in luggage. Yet she is able to find the part of herself that can absorb and process the heaviness out. We all have that in us, but sometimes it can be difficult to let go and allow the process to work. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Carol: The third one is really short, and it seemed like the whole dream was very confused, like just kind of jumbled up in a way. So I was staying in a hotel, with my sister again, and a friend of hers. And my sister’s friend’s relative just died, so we were in this hotel and I think it was a resort place.

We had like tons of luggage. We took over the whole hotel room with luggage, and like our clothes were everywhere, and it was kind of chaotic. And then, at some point, I go off to adopt a cat because I found this cat, and this was so beautiful. It had pink eyes, almost like pink diamonds. It was very unworldly again, a very unworldly color, and very shiny, and very much like a gemstone; less like an eye than a gemstone.

John: So let me try this out. So the pinkness in the eyes with the quality of this cat, this cat had the ability to absorb something. And the general aspect of the dream is a weightiness with luggage and something has died.

Does the dream have a quality of a little bit of grief, to which the cat has an ability to, in its way of throwing something out, but then also in its way of having the quality of something in its eyes able to absorb, heal by an absorbing?

Carol: Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.

John: Is that the vibration?

Carol: That’s it, yes.

John: Wow. See, that’s like a progression, isn’t it? You could see how that progressed from the first dream. That’s a tool.

That quality in its highest manifestation, meaning, like I guess however you’d say it, in terms of it being in the outer, where the eyes can be like that and, at the same time, it is an aspect of precociousness carried to a higher degree of a freedom aloofness – but not an aloofness that goes into a transcendence that doesn’t do anything for life – but it’s in life, but not necessarily touched or affected by it.

In other words, you can kick a dog and whatnot and its loyalty will always be there, but with a cat you know it’s going to hold, it’s not going to demean itself. And yet, at the same time, it rises above the demeaning aspect of energy in life, forgives in a way, so that it can absorb. And so with the light, that light, with the color of the eyes it takes something in.

Now the highest expression of that, it is said, that a teacher who can see and can touch, on a level of the soul, with that kind of quality, sends something straight to God. Now that’s a funny way of saying it, but that’s how it’s said.

And so, let me make up a manufactured image of this happening in kind of its… we’ll call it a trite way. Let’s say you’re going about and you’re profoundly touched by something, someone does something that really touches the heart. And so a certain quality comes to the eyes even when its deeply touched by that, and that communication seen as an effect that touches another, or another corresponds to that, creates a kind of interesting transporting or movement to somewhere very nice, and deep, and sweet and healing – on a consciousness level.

It’s that kind of cat, isn’t it? Wow. More information isn’t it? That’s a big marching order to catch up with something like that because most people always have some holdout aspect of themselves that shows, that’s part of their demeanor, that’s how they have to consider themselves in a separate capacity. But to have eyes like that puts you into the vacuum of a wholeness. That’s like transported to God, and can, if really, fully developed, transport in the environment that that can rest upon, and penetrate, can affect that in the same way.

It is said that just being in the atmosphere of a teacher creates interesting transformative effects. And the light of the soul is considered something that is seen in the eyes, that causes the connectivity to that, like a transporting.

In other words, if you were to take and substitute the word God in for soul it would be like that. That’s a very interesting thing because you actually do something like this invisibly. When you’re touched by things you’re just touched by things and, at the same time, you just being yourself don’t think anything of it. That has an effect that touches things around it. You just being how you are, you being like that softens heavy energy.

kestreljpgIn yesterday’s dream, Jeane saw a string with small blocks that caused snags (see Imposing Upon Life). In her next dream, the imagery tried to give her greater clarity about what she was dealing with on an inner level, using the symbolism of a phone, an sharp-eyed bird, and the connection to a good friend. All of these elements come together to show where her disconnection is, and when the connection is lost we can see how everything falls apart – as shown in the final scenes. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So in this next dream, I’m at a resort with another group of people and Dean’s wife, Anna, is there, and I seem to be sitting next to her; and the impression I have is he hasn’t arrived yet. He’s maybe supposed to join us at some later time, and we’re going on a hike through a jungle shortly.

And I’ve kind of put my hand into a purse to feel a cellphone. Maybe we’re going to call Dean later. I’m not sure what that’s about, but some of us go ahead into the jungle and we hike up to an area and then we’re waiting in the jungle for Anna and she doesn’t come, and she doesn’t come, and then I think about calling her. But then I feel the cellphone. The cellphone feels a little wrong, and so I look down and I’ve picked up Anna’s purse, so of course she’s not calling us or coming. She probably thinks her purse is lost so she’s still back there.

So I think about how I have to get the purse to her, so I get up and I move a little apart from the group as I’m going to walk back to where we started from at the hotel. But as I stand up and I’ve just gone a few feet in the jungle, this bird, that’s kind of like I think a kestrel, you know a small hawk of some kind, a small falcon even, I’m not even sure, comes down and gets right up in my face beside me, not in a hostile way. It’s kind of on the ground even, just has its whole body kind of stretched out with its wings pulled partly back like it’s at attention, like when they’re going to dive or something, but kind of has its face right up next to my face.

Well, I find this really kind of peculiar. I think, it’s a bird, it should be up in the tree, flying or something. And I kind of watch it even goes over and it assumes that pose next to a small kitten, or just a young cat that somebody else has that still has that kitten energy. It’s not totally tiny though, and I’m a little concerned about the bird now because the cat is aligned perfectly with the bird in a way. They’re side by side. They’ve even moved forward a few inches. Their heads are next to each other almost like greeting each other, and they both are looking totally alert.

Well, I’m a little concerned about the bird now, even though that’s not a full grown cat. It’s just not quite behaving normally, so I kind of try to get it to inch forward a few more because I want the bird to be able to fly.

And then my attention is distracted and I find myself in the jungle like I want to go back to where Anna was, and then I’m separate from the group and it’s almost like everything’s shifted. I get back to the resort – but this time when I first get into the resort it feels like I’m being pursued. There are two guys that when they spot me start chasing me, and one of them falls behind, but the other seem when I try to lock the door on him the door won’t lock. And I go into one room and the people there feel like they’re from a different era, and they’re even almost partly present and partly ghost-like – so I leave that room.

And then I feel like the guy is still a little bit behind me, and he hasn’t caught up with me, but I want to stay ahead of him. And I even start to go outside and maybe fly through the jungle again to get back to where I was, but I change my mind and I decide to go swimming. Then he seems to fall away, and I’ve gone into a changing room. There’s another woman in there or two women in there that one of them went ahead to use the showers, and I see they have one of these odd bathroom stalls where when you go in the stall, one stall doesn’t have anything in it, and I guess that’s maybe the changing stall. And then you can either go back out and enter the second stall and there’s a toilet there, or you can kind of bend down and actually go through a cutout space to get to the toilet.

And so I go in there to change and then I’m going to use the toilet, but the toilet has disappeared on me, so I realize there must be toilets in the other changing room. I come out to go look for that and I think that’s when I wake up.

John: So you’re inter-phasing things for direct information, because you’ve set the premise that there are certain blocks in the flow, and the thread of unfoldment, that keep one from directly seeing what they need to see.

And you use Anna as an example to help reveal that, because technically you and her basically have the ability to walk around together quite fine. In other words, it’s like you do have a communication connective level that is there, so you’re using Anna as an example where there’s a break, where there is something that is missing in terms of the natural acuity that can be there.

And it has to do with something that you’re holding onto, which is the purse, versus that which enables you to see, or hear, or comprehend – which is the cellphone. And so it’s like that is disjointed in terms of the connection, because basically Anna is you and you are Anna in this dream. And yet then for that to be pulled together, you can’t be taking and sustaining or maintaining yourself with what you’re holding onto. In other words, if you’re going to hold onto something you have to have a sight. In other words, within that should have been something like the cellphone or something in other words so that there was the connective communicative link.

That was the key, that was the symbolism of the bird, is the bird – the quality that needs to take flight – you’re missing a certain characteristic that is represented by the bird. And of course this bird also represents a type of meditation, quality in meditation, or a quality in the meditative state. In your particular case you’ve basically gotten a little discombobulated. It’s not that you cannot ordinarily be like this, but you’ve gotten a little discombobulated. And the discombobulation has been associated with something that is a characteristic, or animal-type energy, that you need to experience, which you described it as being like a falcon, which has to do with a certain sight, and probably a particular quality of how that sight works even.

Something that automatically knows how to come into touch with something, in other words isn’t fooled by things, because then when you take and can be duped or fooled by something, then you can’t seem to, as in the last part of the dream, which really wasn’t important other than it showing how one flops about when they don’t have that sensation. And it was not quite really a flopping about, because it was kind of a figuring out, too. There was an emptiness that was reached, but at the same time that you have an emptiness you also have to have, and be able to have, a presence.

So here’s how that works: There is a kind of groundedness that one has that when you’re grounded you sometimes can’t then take on any additional information because it requires your attention to become overly expansive, and then you space out. And that spacing out means then you can’t find your way, and you can’t tell where the bathroom or something is, and you can actually go into an obliviousness – and that part isn’t good. So there is a type of focus and attention that holds the energetic of something together so that you know where the dynamic is at – in terms of how it is that you’re supposed to perceive and see something. Now the falcon illuminates that, addresses that problem, so that when you bring a particular sight so you can sort something out, and you have it clearcut with that kind of energetic, you also then are able to find where to go to the bathroom, or this, that, or the other, for relief.

This is a dream that is showing you an aspect of a type of focus and attention associated with a certain keenness, that an animalistic characteristic has, it’s important in terms as a tool to letting go of blockages, or characteristics, mannerisms that function as blockages, which causes you to carry something that is personal instead of something which is a sight.
