Rainbow SunIn this series of dreams, our story from yesterday (see A Sleeping Giant) continues to unfold. What has been awakened is now a teenage boy and the dreamer is trying to integrate that new energy into the wholeness of herself. But, as the images proceed, we can see that there is an inner aspect that is resisting this change, and doing so by isolating itself. We see this in the outer when it is difficult to integrate groups of people, and we experience it on the inner level as we try to integrate more and more of our totality. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So, in this next little vignette, I seem to be sitting in kind of an old-fashioned kind of darker room, you know like with dark furniture, and the lighting’s not real bright, and I’m contemplating something. There’s a teenage boy there with me, and there’s some men standing not too far away.

And I’m aware that I’ve gotten this boy that he’d apparently been at some point isolated on an island, but now he’s with me. And I realize that the men in a sense are wondering kind of what use he is, but I’m aware that he was isolated on an island maybe that Amelia Earhart had crashed on, and that he’s probably a descendant of hers.

And so, at some point, if somebody weds him or something, the children could carry on that line – and that there’s a lot of value in that. And I realize that they’re not even at this point in time thinking of that.

John: See, you’ve created an interesting circle of which, like life has this way of revolving, always revolving back to a same sameness. But what you have, in terms of the big picture, is intertwined, but what you have in terms of the perspective around you is they don’t see the big picture.

In other words, they see something that is different and, therefore, different because of its mannerism of isolation, and so it tends to be not accepted, or not taken into a proper recognition, and therefore an unfoldment is inhibited.

Now you are looking at this from the standpoint of a wholeness. Some part of you inside of the matrix of all of this can look at what would be a wholeness where things go awry, and astray, but eventually cycle back because they have in the essence of their nature that which is redeeming. And, at any given point of a process, if just looked at that given point and not able to take into account the fullness of what is intended and meant to be, you’re going to have attitudes, and mannerisms, and bifurcated impressions that are shallow.

It’s because no one can see how the beginning and the end are one and the same. Instead there is the recognition, or the seeing, of the diversity and diversities that are trying to be accepted, and that a human being who is looking at the diversity only of their own face, or self image of things, is going to see nothing but diversity around. And so nothing can really unfold, or be shaped, or intertwined when you have this kind of constant pigeonholed… well, it’s a judgement and definition, and when you have that, things aren’t allowed to evolve.

Jeane: In the next little vignette, I’m sitting again in kind of a darker, older room on a couch. There’s a couple animals off to the side I don’t see clearly, but there’s a coffee table and kind of a small dog, a little puppy, right in front of me, and I have something fluffy in my hand, it’s kind of red I think. I toss it and he’ll go racing across the room and pick it up and bring it back to me.

I mean I think there’s another couple of animals in the room, but I don’t see them clearly. Obviously they’re not puppies even if they are dogs, and so I’m having a lot of fun with this, you know. And it feels like the men who are like the authority in the other dream are in a room behind me, because I’m sitting on a couch and two or three times I’m just taking this and I toss it across the room and the dog goes racing after it, you know, and runs back to me with it, you know. It’s really kind of a fun energy, and for some reason I’m equating this with some kind of energy my grandmother had.

John: So what you’re doing is, the first two images and dreams, actually kind of leave one’s self in a kind of a predicament because even though you have a sense of how something is to come together, what you’re seeing around you is something that overweights the situation. In other words, the environment of this big guy is such that he can’t be accommodated as things are.

And in the second dream, this perspective is limited and thus there is no acceptance, no joy, no flow. And the third dream is a breakthrough from all of that. In other words, you can have the setness off to one side, the guys or whatever that are sitting there, but what’s happening in front of you is going properly back and forth. There’s a cohesion.

The dog represents a joy and a friend, and he’s eager to go back and forth fetching things and bringing it back, and fetching things and bringing it back. Within that whole mannerism is a completion. Now the tone or the mood of the guy sitting somewhere off in the distance, does not have that, but what’s being brought in to the atmosphere is this vibe that has to do with this going back and forth and the joy of the dog fetching things – and that there is a complete circle that is being made.

The guy sitting off to one side will be sitting in some sort of tone, or mood, that will be keeping him stale, and stuck, and tranced out, but you don’t have that with this dog and this flow and all of this going back and forth. You have something that’s very fluid, and that is the atmosphere, that is being reflected as a solution to a need.

Jeane: Then as I was waking up it’s like I had this last image where it felt like that it was at a point where the boy from before is maybe now at an age where he can have children, but we seem to have to go to court to get permission for that, because those other guys are trying to block it.

And so I’m going to go to court with him, to represent him, but then I glance over and I see that those men from before, they have this white convertible and I even see them taking some big long rifles out of their trunk. I’m wondering how this is going to work out in court, because I’m not really an attorney, and they look kind of high powered to me. And I’m wondering if we’ll have an attorney to represent us. This is just kind of a domestic issue, you know. This kid wants to go forward. Maybe the judge can just handle this, but I don’t know. I’m kind of shocked to see these guys with their rifles and everything.

John: So this is what tends to evolve whenever something is pushed in a way, or something goes to a point that, is too much. In other words, out of the prior dream you have the guy sitting off to one side in his grumpy motif, kind of putting up with but not really accepting the play that’s going on near him in which the dog is going back and forth fetching things, and there’s kind of a free flow and a joy and a play that exists there.

But, you know, he just can’t get out of his awkwardness that he is carrying, in terms of how he feels and sees himself, so as a consequence that sort of demeanor, if it’s not penetrated, has step-back blowback effects, which is what is portrayed in your final image, in which it fights that kind of fluidity, it fights that kind of flow, it’s threatened by that sort of thing, it loves and needs to hold onto its idea of the status quo.

And this is the conundrum that we have in the outer world these days. We sit and try to reflect and represent a difference, which is a vibratory difference, that is hard for people to recognize and to see, and only some can see it, but if you’re not careful, and you’re too obvious with it, you invoke the status quo defensiveness that tries to maintain the patterns in life, the patterns of denseness in life, that aren’t working. In other words, it’s almost like it’s content and wants to stay with the devil it knows, as opposed to what might be different, which it has no confidence or trust in accepting.

A-Bridge Between Two Worlds-Judith ShawIn her second dream (see Feeding the Whole), Jeane again is wrestling with the concept of dying to this life, seen in the form of a soldier who dies. As John describes, it is not the life of manifestation that we seek to let go of, it is the aspects of our personal life that keep us forever separate from the natural connections to manifestation and, indeed, everything.  (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: Then it feels like when the dream shifts that there’s been a soldier who can do a certain maneuver, like sometimes they do marching maneuvers with their rifle and everything, and he does a particularly interesting set of maneuvers. And we want access to that, or to be able to observe it, or learn it, or something.

And the there’s someone in authority who doesn’t want us to do that. So as a result we’ve gone to court to get access. Because we know that it’s been almost like a tradition that if you were in a certain place and time and you were observing that that was allowed, but then there’s somebody that doesn’t want to allow it anymore. So we’ve gone to court.

And while we’re in the courtroom I’m thinking that tradition is on our side, but still, someone in authority will decide this, it’s like I learn that the soldier has died. So then I’m wondering about whether the whole court proceeding is respectful, or how do you keep it respectful, because you can still learn about the maneuver because it can be done by other people like us.

But still, how do you do all that respectfully? And I’m just kind of wondering about how this changes things.

John: That component is pretty rebellious. It’s rebellious because you actually are putting in question a statement, which is incomplete, that at some particular point you storm the gates. You storm heaven, so to speak.

And that statement implies that in doing so, you’re leaving something behind – in terms of creation. However, if life is really the macrocosm and the microcosm, and manifestation is actually the microcosm and the macrocosm, then you don’t completely die to what exists on this plane, either. You hold both levels. You actually are, using another statement, a soldier of the two worlds.

And that you find yourself having to struggle to stay grounded in order to sustain that because there is the “as above, so below” quality that can never get lost. If you take and expunge yourself from what is going on in the surroundings, then you end up not actually being spiritually well. In other words, you can’t really take in the expansiveness of God in a state that exists on this whole other level.

You can’t really take that in the way that it is meant to be taken in, which means that, from the perspective of God, there has to be the eyes and the ears of everything on all levels. And that man is like a person who is in creation, in manifestation, working with the energy of, say, sound more than light, who really doesn’t see the true light, but understands somehow the sound being a contracted version of the light, the same-sameness from the standpoint of the microcosm, so that the two become one, and are one, and the same.

So, in your dream, you have the soldier to have access to, and a person who is in creation, or in manifestation, is like a soldier in life, and yet this soldier has died. And so then you wonder, what’s all the hoopla of having to struggle and go to court or, in other words, go through the price of admission of contending with what this soldier’s energetically, in his loudness, was all about in manifestation.

So what you’re basically saying is that you’re going to die to that quality or that effect. You’re going to purge that because you realize that that mannerism has come to an end – it’s not really real.

Thus you hold on to what exists in manifestation and creation. You don’t go beyond it. So this shows another level of paradox to the saying that you die before you die. Yes you do, but you don’t do it in such a way that you go into an amnesic condition. You always try to get more and more grounded. You keep trying to come down and keep trying to come down.

Because if you truly die, in the sense that the mind wants to grab this, then what you’re doing is you’re denying the virtue of this plane of existence in terms of the macrocosm that it represents – a form or a manner through which you can get close to God. You can’t get really closer to God just aspiring to something that is transcendent. You can’t hold that transcendent without the rapport of the immanence.

And so your dream was throwing you a conundrum and, as you indicated, you wanted to maintain the honor, the appreciation, and the recognition of the soldier. And so to put it in slightly other words, in terms of the other aspect of the dream, it had to do with being able to recognize the flip-side of all that there is, that you are part of everything that’s created.

And that the biggest spiritual illusion is to think that you can leave this behind. That you don’t really go anywhere, that this stuff becomes one and the same. It’s just at, so to speak, different energetics, or different speeds, or there maybe appear to be veils because of the difference between light and sound. But it’s all one and the same.

And to think that you drop one to get to the other – yes, to a kind of a degree to which you are misaligned you kind of do, but ultimately you come to recognize that you can’t annihilate anything.

It’s interesting, all the current cultural obsession with zombies and vampires, i.e., human beings interacting with the undead. In a spiritual journey, it can seem just such a battle between fostering our own inner light, and being drawn in, or seduced, by all the aspects of the culture that have no light in them, which can keep us from fulfilling our human purpose.

Jeane’s dream has this epic battle: zombies, aliens, a flood, and a wedding. What does it all mean? John explains. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: Near the tail end of one dream that I’ve kind of forgotten, I go to check into a hotel and I need to get a room, and I have to phone you. But it feels like I can’t get a room because you’re going to be joining me at some point in the future, I think on the third of a certain month, and we’re not married so… I think that’s the scenario, something like that anyway.

You tell me to go ahead and have the woman at the hotel arrange for us to get married. I’m not too worried about it because it feels like it’s just a civil ceremony or something they’ll do right there at the hotel. I even go around the counter and there’s a big window display there and it has some rings in it. I think it has a ruby ring or something, so you just tell me to go ahead and get that, and charge it to your card and have her set up the whole thing for the third or whenever it is you’re coming into town. I tell her all of that. And that seems to be the end of that dream.

I go to a house where I think you and I live, but you’re out of town of course, with some other people, and I’ve gone up and it’s got several layers, and I look out in the street at some point and I see that there are people out in the street that come and stuff something into people’s mouths and it changes them into these zombie-like creatures. Not zombies like chase you or eat you, but they want to make you just like them.

I see this happening so I see this happening so I quickly go and round up the people that work with you, and relatives, and anybody that I know and get them to come into my house. And then I start boarding up the house so that the zombie-type creatures that are trying to make everybody like them can’t catch us and force us to be like them.

But some people I can mobilize better than others. Some just stand around and look out the window kind of like they’re a little dull about the whole thing, and so I have to try to get others to help me go around and board up windows, or make sure all the doors are locked, and I’ve got a lot of levels of this house to take care of to do that.

At some point I have to get them to help me to bolt the door, or put pressure on the door, so someone can’t break in. There’s one area of the house finally that I go to, and I have to go out on a roof-like area. And there are some zombie people that have come, and a couple of the duller people, I think a young woman and an older woman, they’re out there with me, and the zombies get them and change them because they just are not swift enough or quick enough to know they shouldn’t let them get near them and stuff something in their mouths that changes them into being like them. And then they try to chase me, and the other people too.

Because I had gone out and done that, then I’m trying to get away outside and I go down to get the car and my car, I guess, is in a garage, and when I look there’s water flooding the street and it’s running even into the garage and it’s kind of icy too.

And so some cars will come, and once in a while a car will make it. It’ll go really fast through the water and even though this water is pushing it off to the side like with the rapids, it tends to somehow get in the garage and at least be able to park on the side. Other cars seem to be jammed into each other a little, and there’s some across the street that maybe are going to try or maybe they’re going to feel it’s not wise.

I actually see a kind of shallow spot and, in spite of some rapids ahead of me, I’m able to get about two-thirds of the way over and finally I kind of make it over a little place even though someone thinks I’m kind of crazy to be doing that.

I’m continuing to try to get away from the aliens, or from the zombie-type people. Well it looks like the zombies are going to get me, some aliens that have a lot of power that the zombies will try to touch, come down and seem to give me some protection.

But that means, for some reason, we all have to go to court over this. Maybe the zombies want to claim you and the aliens are giving you some protection. For some reason we have to all go to court.

So I go to the courtroom, and there are several of us from the house that are still okay, who are there, and we have a little strategy. I think I, and somebody else, will be a witness and somebody else would be the main person that’s testifying. We’ve got all of that settled, but then we’re going to have to spend the night in town because we’re going to the trial, so I go to check into the hotel again. I’d forgotten all about the hotel.

When I walk into the hotel they remind me about the wedding. It’s going to be another day or two, and I’ve forgotten all about it, and I don’t know if it’s okay with you or not, but I see that they have this card there where they charged your card and there’s even another little card with some people of the house, so I’m kind of congratulating us, even some of the doofus people that drew little pictures on it, and I’m just kind of in shock because I’d forgotten all about that.

I think that’s when I woke up.

John: This is a dream in which you incorporate, and attempt to catch up with, an energetic expression in the outer by coming from one side down into another. And so the idea is that as a purpose of coming into life you’re to accomplish or do something. You’re to help bring something through, or to find something.

In other words, something works as a magnetic attraction that has meaning to you, and so you make the sojourn through time under the idea that something is destined or meant to happen.

However, that’s kind of a way of projecting yourself. You have a slight projection involved here in terms of how you see yourself coming into light. And however you hold the theme of that, and in holding the theme of that you’re holding a certain balance, and in that balance you’re able to perceive things around you.

It’s just like in the past you used to hold a certain recognition of a certain shamanistic shift or quality that you had that you could hang out in, in spite of what was going on around you. And now you’ve turned this into something that’s an affinity for how it is that you’re able to come, and agree to come down into life, is that you’re going to be somehow supported in some capacity.

But the dilemma that you find yourself running into is, you have to put up with the amnesia of things, where you could become all zombied out, and get lost and estranged, from what it is that you’re bringing forth from one place or state into another.

And so the whole thing has to do with a sequence that’s time-oriented somehow, and then you have all kinds of things that happen in between that are all associated with making you more and more amnesic, or out of balance, with an overall unfoldment. And you go through the daze of that, and the daze of that, until you eventually realize and start to recognize how it is, and what it is, that you have agreed to, that will be okay based upon some idea or understanding or vibration.

And it’s based upon a vibration that you have an affinity for. However, because it’s a manifestation, you’re not sure just how that all comes to pass. You just know that there is something soothing about the vibration that you have an affinity for. You don’t necessarily know the greater detail of it, you just know that there is an affinity.

And then of course there’s the sorting out that has to happen in manifestation because there has to be the cohesion that has to come together. And none of that can find itself if you’re caught in some sort of collective mayhem that stands in the way, with things that gobble up or devour your sense of self. What were some of the other things you talked about?

Jeane: The aliens that were protective that came out of nowhere, the car and the water I had to cross.

John: Yes, those are all parts of the path that try to break through to the other side and you’re now using aliens as kind of an example of one place versus another.

Jeane: They were protective as opposed to the zombies.

John: As one place versus another. It’s still kind of like a memory. Just like you can be in creation now, and the lineage the you’re part of, and however it is that you create a linkage to something more as a transmission stream that you’re connected to, that’s very protective in the face of zombies that are all around you in terms of an energetic that’s astray.

Jeane: It was a long, complex dream. It was hard to pull it out. Like I said, then the wedding and stuff that I’d forgotten about.

John: Well, this whole thing is, is it stays within the context of the dream, where there is a coming back from another place, and in the coming back you come back in order to support and sustain something. And of course you then have to contend with a delirium that you have to go through, and forces that you have to deal with that don’t seem to have any light in them, and seem confused and bizarred out.

And you can’t let that rub off on you because you have to remember why it is, and what it is, about yourself that is here in terms of what its purpose or connection is all about. What is it in service to, so to speak?

You’ve taken one inflection, and you have kind of seen yourself in the light of that inflection being that after the path of Nirvana, or going home, comes the path of servitude, where you can come back and sustain or maintain some understanding that is important for creation.

Before you made the journey back, you were in a state that needed a lot of sorting out, and only after the sorting out could you get to a point where you could move beyond the conditioning of things in the outer. And once you have done that, that means you are kind of free.

But in the state of service you come back then, you venture back, you boldly take the freedom that you have, back into life and run the risk of the delusion all over again. With the difference being that you carry a note that can keep you from getting totally lost.

And so the whole idea of the marriage and the coming together of this, that, or the other is that note that you hear as an echo inside of you, that doesn’t totally go away in the face of the zombies and the lifelessness that you have to contend with.
