Posts Tagged ‘humans radiate energy into our surroundings’

Force-Of-NatureIn this conversation between John and Ann, the territory of spiritual development is discussed. When one is on the spiritual path, the changes that occur on an inner, energetic, level begin to radiate outward. Other people may sense this new energy unconsciously, yet depending on their own openness, the energy can either awaken something in them, or it can cause an allergic reaction to the more potent processes at play. Navigating these changes can test of a person’s resolve to stay on the path. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: Have you been having good energetics in the morning?

Ann: Oh my goodness yes. It’s just incredible. Last week when you mentioned the shift, oh my goodness.

John: The thing about the energetics that one has in the morning is: do you ever feel like you are getting too carried away, like you’re on speed, too animated about things?

What do you think about that when you get like that?

Ann: Sometimes I think: what is that all about?

John: Are you okay being like that?

Ann: Umm, for the most part, but when I catch myself being way too speeded up it’s like there’s sort of an in-between state there, but when I’m too speeded up sometimes I’m usually okay with it, but then sometimes I have to just sit and relax a little bit and bring the energy down a little bit.

John: What you’re doing is you’re pulling it down and grounding it, and when you’re speeding up what you’re doing is you’re tending to get a little bit transcendent, or out of body, with the soul.

And so when you get a little ungrounded or out of body with the soul you tend to… you have an energetic speed and effectiveness and it’s something that is intriguing to others, but it’s something that you have to be a little bit careful of because around people that are denser, or have a more limited world, or are stuck in the need of power and control, you’re apt to ruffle feathers very quickly.

Ann: And lately it’s like it’s really happening with people around; I’ve seen that.

John: That’s kind of why it’s said that you kind of get to a point, if you’re not grounding yourself and bringing it down, you’re going to get to kind of a point where you’re going to develop maybe new friends, and alienate the older ones that are used to you – because you can’t be like that anymore like you used to be.

Luckily, I think it’s slow enough, and subtle enough, that it’s generally not that dynamic a principle of being that harsh, and it’s more along the lines where one buys the belief or illusion, that in the speeded-up sense that you’re at, that you can communicate this across to others.

You can go on that treadmill for a long, long time, until you realize that people are just lilting in the energetic that you are carrying in a speeded-up way. They learn that they only create anxiety with themselves when they fight it.

They know that they can’t readily accept it as them, but they know it’s not untrue because their body tells them it feels okay. But what it does is, to the degree to which you’re affected and communicating like this, you’re stimulating the etheric and you’re stimulating the unconscious in them, and often times you can make their world miserable for them and not even realize it, because you quicken something before they’re ready to be quickened with it.

And yet how can you be any other way? Now the problem is, if you’re yourself, and you’re doing this, what generally happens is you tend to take it on yourself in a self-conscious way, and you figure oh, I have to tone it back, I have to deaden it, I have to go slower, I have to become a little… you need to cloud yourself a little bit, shut down the animation and the speed.

When you do that then you get poisoned, because now you’re agreeing to go along with the lowest common denominator, so that doesn’t quite work. And so what happens is you’re animated in the morning, and then you find yourself having to comport with the environment that you’re in, and by afternoon you can be a complete idiot again. And then every day it’s like that and then you sit there and you will say, why am I throwing away this energetic?

And you are throwing it away because you are feeling that to live this, you’re doing something unnatural – and yet you’re being your natural self.

Ann: Isn’t that interesting how that works?

John: When you are in an acuity like this, you often times have senses of things that may or may not be quite true, in terms of your understanding of say something scientific or something, but on an energetic level, it is true. That’s why there were things that the teacher used to say that weren’t exactly always true, but on an energetic level, the vibration that she was in, was entirely true.

That’s why there are stories that are told, like the training that Moses went through with Khidr, where Khidr did all kinds of things that were, from an outward perspective, really wrong, and yet on a vibrational level it was what was important. The outer appearance was not meaningful, nor the detail necessarily was not absolute in any regard. It was just kind of like something that lilts across in relationship to the space that you’re in.

But the space that you’re in is what is real and that’s what needs to be heard. So if the space you’re in is such that it violates the space of someone else who’s more nailed down in their being, then you’re going to create lots of commotion and turmoil.

Where you will make something dangerous for yourself is if you happen to confront somebody who is fearful, because in their fear they may then take whatever it is that you’re doing, without saying anything, treat it as the enemy, and start taking defensive postures against it so that they don’t have to face something in themselves that they’re not ready, or able, to face – and that is a kind of ignorance.

Generally speaking though they just walk away from you. Generally the people you know are good people and they just realize okay, okay, okay out of my politeness, meaning them talking to themselves, rather than get all worked up about it, which is what they would have to do because you have gone and you’ve tripped something in their unconscious; they’ll just get up and walk away.

That’s what this new energy, you’ve got to be careful with, because this new energy coming in lends itself to a way of alienating yourself from others, because you can so easily blow them away and you can maybe perhaps get to the idea, okay, this is the way I’m going to be, and then if you’re like that, then you’re a wrecking machine in terms of how others bounce away from you, or bounce off of you, and have to maintain their motif so as to not be penetrated.

It’s kind of similar, if you think, to the principle of how meditation works. It’s a little bit along those lines. When you first start meditating your meditations are miserable because it’s garbage that’s coming up – and more so than usual because you’re giving things permission to be like that.

So then when you reach a certain freedom, and you start exuding that freedom, on an energetic vibrational level, now you become a force of nature that is doing this to others, right out in the open, no meditation involved. You’re bringing something straightaway right into life.

So what happens is a lot of people then get to thinking that they have got to be a bit transcendent. Instead of bringing it down, they have to be more transcendent, and if you get more transcendent you can take yourself out of life, and you could become something that’s not relatable by others, because you are not finding the intertwined similitude that goes beyond the appearances of the physical.

You’re not submitting yourself to finding that, to touching that; paying the price of whatever that is. So the more you can be in the physical, the more grounded you can be, the more you can carry across this transcendent state, which is like the statement now of, feet on the ground head, in the heavens, or something.

You can actually marry those two states as a Oneness.

John: In my dream, I’m attending the last class before a test.

It’s an accounting class and there’s a three-day weekend followed by the test. I show up knowing that nothing new is really going to be taught. It’s just going to be the professor laying out what the test is going to be, and perhaps establishing some ground rules, and maybe a slight review of things and hints that might make it easier to take the test.

Other than that, everything has already occurred and happened, so I’m just showing up; I’m going through the motions. I come into the area with my coat on and at first ponder whether I want to sit down. Then I notice that there’s a woman there who’s someone I remember from high school. I remember that she always takes this sort of thing seriously so, I figure, what the heck.

At first I decide to sit behind her. Then I find that it’s better to sit up towards the front. I sit in a kind of triangular formation and I’m at the top of the triangle. As other people arrive, they all sit behind me.

The space we’re in is like an open, outdoor area; there’s grass and I’m sitting at the very top. In front of me there’s nothing but dirt and rock. I notice, off to my left, that people have their little indulgences in terms of how they have to carry or conduct themselves.

I notice for example that there’s a small, half-used container of fingernail polish. This is an affect of how people tend to see themselves but, in my particular case, I don’t really take any of it that seriously. It’s not why I’m actually there.

I’m there because it’s okay to be there and, at the same time, I’m able to notice that part of me is able to resonate in a particular, inner way. When I’m able to resonate in a particular inner way, I’m actually free of what’s going on around me. I’m able to observe and see everything that’s transpiring in a new way, so much so that I notice a shift, where I suddenly have access to a deeper space inside me that I didn’t know existed.

As I evaluate what’s going on, the only thing that makes any sense in terms of my presence, because I’m not there to figure anything out, is that I’m serving as a force that diffuses the indulgent energy of others. I have the idea that it’s important and necessary for me to be there.

Basically, I’m just there as a means of radiating how it doesn’t have to be. What’s going on around me is not as important as it’s made out to be. In my approach, I’m actually able to hold a better space in terms of who I am and, in doing so, things that are meant to open up can open up – if the intense, personal indulgences stop.

If I were to determine why it is that I’m free flowing through life like this, it’s to carry a mannerism, or a way of being, that enables others to be able to inflect slightly differently so that they don’t take things quite so seriously, or personally. In doing that, it enables them to see something more that wouldn’t otherwise be possible because they’re normally lost on some dense tangent caused by self-involvement.

The dream also has a deeper meaning, which is that by taking and holding and carrying a space that resonates inside me, what I’m really doing is aligning the bits and pieces of me that wouldn’t ordinarily be able to be aligned – if I had an indulgence that consumed me, as events in the outer are inclined to do.

The dream is quite similar to your dream (see A Natural Way) in that both dreams have to do with holding a space, or a place, within, from which something is able to open up.

In other words, it flows through us, and so our rapport in creation is changed. Instead of having to contend with the outer reflection of things, we’re actually able to touch, or be in cohesion with, the energy that perceives the indulgences and the limitations that are suggested by the impressions and the reflections.

So these images describe a state where we’re able to sit and go along for the ride, so to speak, but we’re free from all of it. In being able to be free from all of it, we’re able to align ourselves. But it’s more than that, too, because the process somehow takes away a seriousness, in terms of the outer, so that it too can come to know, and reach, a kind of higher meaning, and value, in terms of being. It’s an interesting dream about maintaining an inner space.

John: Your dream showed the conundrum of trying to bridge, through our lives, the inner and the outer, or the spiritual and the physical, but it showed it in an overall way, without specifics (see The Fundamental Shift). My dream explored the same conundrum, but the image broke it down into a specific case, because that’s the masculine nature.

When we get caught up in our experiences in the outer, i.e., when we become personally involved in what’s occurring, our energy gets consumed, or drained, by it. When our energy is lowered, we become even more prone to our indulgences of emotion, psychological patterns, egocentric behavior and all the rest.

So the degree to which we accommodate, or put personal importance on, events in the outer, is the degree to which we get pulled down, away from our higher selves. When we “live” only in our lower selves, we are basically caught in a trance, where the truth of life is veiled behind the outer illusion.

What brings us out of the trance is a process of connecting to an inner silence, or emptiness, where nothing’s going on, and we can find a quiet peace. Most people actually love to be in that state, but they can’t maintain it when they are active in life. But the key to a connected life, a life lived in our higher selves, is to hold that inner space, or heartfullness, no matter what’s going on around us.

As my dream begins, I’m going to a property that sits next to another property owned by someone else. I spend some time there, grooming the land to look good, i.e., I thin dense areas out, and I clean things up.

This idea rubs off on my neighbor, and he cleans something up on his property. I don’t necessarily agree with what he’s done, but at least it’s helping to shape things. There’s no discussion between us. I can just see the next thing that needs to be done. It’s like a flow has been established and in that flow I’m having insight on what to do.

There are many trees, and each tree requires something slightly different. I’m visualizing what would facilitate a tree in terms of the land, in an effort to free it to take on a greater aliveness. In other words, my efforts are not just about appearance in the outer, but about awakening something in another dynamic.

As I’m doing this, the neighbor comes over and wants to talk. He talks and talks and I try to relate to him, but I really don’t want to because this is the kind of thing you just do – you don’t talk about it.

The conversation chokes off the flow for me, and I lose the quietness and emptiness inside that allows me to know what nutrient each tree needs. I can no longer make that inner connection when my power and energy get drained by having to talk about what I did, and what he did, and on and on.

This dream is showing that when energies in an environment are stimulated, there’s an aliveness that awakens. This is equally true of a person radiating energetically into a natural environment, or of a person radiating energetically to another person, or to other people.

The purpose of this dream is to point out the importance of this inner connective state whereby we can radiate higher energies into life, and the awareness that it’s based in an inner quietness. From that inner connection comes an aliveness and a linkage to things in the outer, in creation. But it shows that I’m not carrying that awakened state all the way through.

In other words, I may begin by being well located in myself, but then something happens (the talking) and I’m knocked out of that synchronization. But I need to carry my connection all the way through into the outer, I can’t veer off into some personal indulgence. Instead, I have to stay within the presence of the heart with whatever is taking place. If I try to talk about it, or to shape it, I just drain the heartfulness from which the creative essence flows.

To keep this disconnection from happening, we have to learn the art of how to be amongst others outwardly, but inwardly still maintain the heartfelt linkage. Otherwise, we lose the ability to hear what creation wants, from a standpoint of essence, because we have succumbed to outer appearances, which are just an illusion.

Energetic essences are embedded in everything that exists, just as God is embedded inside a human being. A human being has the ability to catch up with that which is embedded in creation and, when we do, we are like the creator and can see it in everything around us, rather than only seeing the outer shell of physical matter. If we only acknowledge and respond to the outer shell, then we’re identifying with something that isn’t real. We’re dealing with the projected environment and losing the linkage, through our heart, to the whole.

What kind of waking life scenario could create a strange dream like this? This image shows me what it feels like from the position of losing my connection, and from that sensation I’m meant to understand that there’s an acuity accessible to something much, much deeper inside.

I guess yesterday I experienced this loss in waking life during a conversation. I was describing to a male friend how it’s possible to shape something, energetically, which could affect generations but, from his perspective, he’s just trying to figure out what he’s going to do tomorrow. So I can’t carry that kind of discussion on with this person without them getting disturbed by it.

But I missed the cues of this fact and I got personally carried away, thinking that I could somehow pound this important idea into him. In doing this, I just drained the energy from myself, – because he can’t just suddenly make the jump to where I am. He has to do it in his own way. So, basically, I was rude.

I should have stayed in flow in myself where I could understand where he was in himself, and deal with what’s going on in his life. If I hold that space inside me, it will have an effect on the other person, silently, and allow them to stretch or awaken to whatever degree is possible for them at that moment.

But when I allow my personal reactions to get involved, there’s a loss of graciousness, because then I’m trying to bridge a gap. But there is no gap – I’m just caught in the illusion again. I have no one to blame but myself when I fail to accommodate the outer as I find it, rather than trying to shape it into an image of my own making.
