John: Yesterday you described a very deep dream (see Wings of Angels). In it, you have a tremendous connection within, that you’re able to bring through, which touches and reflects upward vibrationally.

When you’re able to bring that vibration from the inner depths into the outer, you’re actually able to hold a space of appreciation in having done that.

What you describe is something that I wasn’t sure I believed was possible: You take, and hold, a symbolic thread of value, and cause it to be instilled into a scenario in the outer (the dream imagery).

Of course, the quality of being able to do this seems to have something to do with the fact that you were also quite touched by what you witnessed (the Blackfoot ceremony and the images of angels kneeling).

And you recognized something about the volcano, and about the hidden depths of something within you – the old village underwater – that represents something latent and unconscious in you as a reflection of the way the outer reality is now (the new village). And you’re able to carry that across and through.

When you do that you’re…  I’m trying to think of that man – Drunvalo? – yes, he speaks about this. It’s like a shamanic act where you are actually bringing something into alignment. In his case he might be aligning crystals, or he’s working with indigenous tribes to awaken and resurrect something that needs to be brought forth.

The way Drunvalo tells it, it’s crucial that these things are brought back out as a linkage, when their purpose and time is appropriate. If that doesn’t take place, and the synchronicities don’t come together (they always seem to come together) then it will be too late for Mankind, in some regard, energetically.

That may be what you’re doing. You’ve got the Indian value (the quality of appreciation of Creation) working with the sense of the subconscious innerness, at a depth within that you’re in touch with, and you’re able to carry that across and take that which is on land and touch it in some capacity, which brings it to an awakened aliveness.

It’s an awakened aliveness in that you’re doing the touching because you yourself have been touched. That’s what it means to “appreciate” the coming together.

This imagery fits in with the your other dreams, too, in that you’re finding yourself able to suddenly, out of the blue, wear something, or be something, that you wouldn’t normally see yourself as wearing or being. You just suddenly find yourself like that and it’s like a flash where you break through – a snap, or a pop, like in the first dream where you just break through to something.

That transition can be a bit much, it can be a bit shocking and a bit traumatic. When you get to the point where you can soften that, meaning to touch it with a softer and softer heart, a greater and greater appreciative heart, and recognize the beauty of it and you in that space – well, you’re blessing that space and that space is blessing you.

That’s why you have this aspect of it being angelic. But it’s an angelic that has pink associated with it, yes?

Jeane: The bodies of the costumes are made of pink feathers, and the wings are either pink or a very unusual shade of blue.

John: Blue is usually associated with tremendous insightfulness, where you just know something. Pink is associated a little bit more with the shamanic quality – more like the color of the phoenix rising from the ashes.

So we have a combination of those two having come together. The blue is on one side of the heart, in the higher self, and the pink is an appreciation color in Creation, it’s more shamanistic. It’s like red: red is shamanistic, but in your dream it’s a pink color – it’s softened down. It’s softened down because you are experiencing recognition and realization.

In other words, you’re not just using your energy as a type of power that you don’t understand – you do understand what you’re doing. It’s very touching because there’s an angelic side of you that’s able to look out over the affairs of something.

That’s a very interesting access, or contact, that you’re able to see inside you, that becomes possible because you come to know the space with such appreciation that it causes this other thing to arise within it. Because you’ve touched that energetic, it just has to come out. It can’t stay dormant any longer – you’ve touched it.

At first it could be shocking, but then it’s just “boom!” – you’re there. When it comes out, then we can ask, “What degree of depth does it have?” From where in your subconscious are you bringing this across, and what are the greater qualities?

Then, as you keep holding this space, it keeps getting more and more angelic. In other words, you’re stroking something, in an indigenous Blackfoot way, with an appreciation that’s touching because you caught up with it. You’re no longer in so much bewilderment.

When you get out of the bewilderment you actually develop a way of listening and hearing something that, in your particular case, can hold that space – just straight out of the blue hold the space of that.

That’s a very deep dream, and I’m not even sure I’ve been able to do it justice.

Jeane: Early in the night, I felt like my dreams were about watching acrobats, because we had gone to see Cirque du Soleil. Later I had a dream that took place in an era from the past.

A young girl and her friend are on a road, along with people from her village. She and her friend do something that offends people, especially one young soldier, so they’re going to punish the two of them.

I don’t remember how they were going to punish the friend, but the young girl was going to have her face held down on a counter, with her nose against something like ice, for a certain period of time.

She’s protesting this because the way they plan to do it could damage her nose. The soldier, who at first was insistent that it be done because he had been insulted, has started to change his mind. But there are some older women from the village who are insisting that the punishment go forward.

Before the punishment can be meted out, some people, who were hidden, appear and snatch the girl away.

When the soldier and his friend go to find her, the hidden people trap them in the hallways of the building they are in. Then they actually tie the soldier’s friend down behind what looks like a mouse hole; they’re going to subject him to the same punishment the soldier was going to force on the young girl.

In order for the soldier to set his friend free, he has to get to him without setting off a large array of mouse traps that have been attached to things that look like they could blow up. The soldier is uncertain how to do that.

Suddenly the older women and other people from the village come rushing in and they brush against all these mouse traps, which causes them to just go “poof” and disappear in a harmless way.

The girl, meanwhile, has gone into the other room and now the setting has returned to more modern times. Someone asks the girl her name, and she gives her name one way but then says she could give it another way because I think her parents were divorced a long time ago and she could use her mother’s name.

When she says that last name, someone realizes that she’s the child of the person who rescued her, but her rescuer didn’t even know it because of the name change.

So, that was one dream.

John: This dream describes a quality whereby you indulge in something to the point where you transform it into something else. But the dream also indicates that this indulgence is a wonderful quality in that it can cause…

Let me say it this way: If your focus is upon something that’s right in terms of its importance, flow, and unfolding, it can give you the ability to make things go “poof.” When things harmlessly go “poof” in the dream, they are “traps” being released from other things in the environment or surroundings.

This idea is worth looking at in greater depth, so we will continue this discussion tomorrow.

John: So, as a continuation of this conversation from yesterday (see The Energy to Change), I had this sense inside that I needed to shift from where I was and to follow another vibration. Basically I sensed that I needed to follow the shift in energy, rather than to resist it. And if we are not quiet enough to listen to those intuitive feelings that we all have, we end up disconnecting from the inner guidance that is always available to us, and through us.

I mean, this whole shift from the Northwest to Las Vegas came out of the blue. It would have been so easy to dismiss it, based solely on the common perception of what Las Vegas represents – you know, Sin City. Why would we choose to pursue a spiritual journey in the Sodom and Gomorrah of our time?

Yesterday we drove around, getting lost and looking at places to live, and the one thing that stands out is the view, the perspective, from that one apartment that overlooks The Strip. I mean, do I really need to see a view of the lights at night? I know that’s something interesting that I can take in just by looking within. I know that can automatically happen.

So, it caused me to wonder what there is about being able to just peer at this view of The Strip that is so fascinating. It’s not fascinating in the sense of sitting and pondering it as an incredible view. Instead, somehow or other I’m going to be touched by all those lights – the aliveness of them. It’s the flickering aliveness of those lights that has an effect.

Now, I’m not even limiting this feeling to those specific lights, either. Yet somehow they create a trigger to other memories. I can still see it, having stood in that unit and looked out at the view. Normally I can’t see things.

Normally I don’t know what street I’m on, or whether I’m heading north, south, east, or west. I’m usually all twisted around. But I can still see that view. Not in specific detail, but I can see it vibrationally. I can feel the energy of it. And it will give a very different sensation depending on whether it’s nighttime or in the day.

Then it can take on a whole different dynamic. There’s a quickening of that feeling. When we joke around about whether other people could enjoy this city or this view, I’m not sure they’d know how. They might see it as a violation of the vibrational state we are seeking. I don’t know for sure, but when I contemplate the reaction of others I get the sense that it might create a stigma.

The other thing that causes me to wonder – and it seems very, very strange – is the idea of trying to keep the presence of the former owner alive there somehow. What is there about her presence? What has she done there that has set an energetic tone that is still there, and that I’m worried might leave or disappear?

I really can’t get clear on that yet, but that energy is important to the place. Will she drop it? It was so odd when we were there and the toilet was definitely running. When I walked into the bathroom, I jiggled it, and it was still running. And when we were on the verge of leaving I decided to point it out to her.

As we walked to the back I heard it go “kerthunk” and then it stopped running. As we walked up I said, “Well, it was running a minute ago,” and she said, “Yes, I heard it running. It must know I’m back.”

That was amazing. That was a very unusual statement. When you think about that you almost think that she maintains a certain kind of magic in her nature, and that that, somehow or another, is in the place too.
