We saw yesterday the thread of youth in a dream, a young energy awakening inside that still needed to be protected (see Taking the Steps). Here we see the follow up dream, and the young boy is now a man – and already in counseling! But the image of counseling is a message from one part of a life speaking with another part of a life. And in this the message is, yes, a connection has been built, but don’t look at it too narrowly. More inner “friends” can be included, or embraced, as part of this evolving process because, as we awaken, we want what has been gained to become the whole of us. Jeane: In this next dream, I’m in my therapy office and I’m counseling a man. He has like a little pin on his shirt that he keeps holding, kind of for comfort. It might be a little Jesus pin or something.
And I realize that there’s a certain support he could have in his life that he’s rejecting because the friend that is giving him the support doesn’t see Jesus. And then I mention to him that people connect with an energy in different ways, like maybe he sees Jesus, but some people would just have a sense or see a light that they identified as Jesus, or a sense they felt in their heart, or a prayer or something else – that not all people are visual – and that he can still trust his friend because it’s like not everybody is the same way in how they sense something.
So he kind of takes that in, and then I mention to him that I had just been at a conference and I had seen the man that had referred him to counseling for me, that is a mutual friend of ours, and that he should be in touch with him. And that’s the whole dream.
John: So what you’re doing is you’re taking the last dream, and you’re adding the increment of the ability to be a bridge between things.
And so to do that you have to familiarize. You have to use your energy in such a way so that you familiarize the atmosphere of what is taking place as a particular vibration. You have to familiarize the vibration to its rootedness.
In other words, that vibration is important, and that it is something that is okay to feel, and because it’s okay to feel that, then, has an aspect of an unfoldment and a process that is important, and just because it’s not understood or embraced by others doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with it.
And so you are causing this person to realize the vibration better, in terms of you looking at it. You’re causing him to acknowledge it for what it is, in kind of a more grounded way or something, and to recognize that it’s important, and that it unfolds more as he puts his attention in a particular way.
So what you’re doing is you’re guiding him on how to put his attention in a particular way, rather than indulging in the obstacles to which he runs into. It’s very well linked to the first dream. Very interesting.
