XGSefzDWhenever we see images of youth in dreams, whether a young child, a young animal, or even a young plant, it speaks of something that is in its early stages of awakening, still growing. And, like all things in their early stages, it needs to be protected before it is strong enough to protect itself. On an inner level, that is the development we make in ourselves as we rebalance and incorporate what is newly awakened.  (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: I lost my earliest dream, but my second dream feels like I’m on a planet where it feels like I’m trying to figure out how things work there. And I notice I’m in a room, and it’s got kind of rock walls, and I’m studying some people.

And I notice a little boy, and it feels like this little boy, who’s just past being a toddler but he seems to grow fast, I know he’s kind of a key to something, and I want to kind of have him come over to me and study him more. And it feels like one of the things that I notice is that he doesn’t seem to be wearing any clothes, and then something like a streak of black plastic or something, or rubber, kind of wraps itself around part of his body in some kind of design.

And then it feels like invaders come to the planet, and so I try to stay with the boy. Wherever he runs off to I kind of go, because I know he’s kind of a key to how things will be better. But when I get to a room, one of the invaders grabs the boy and actually shoves him in what might be a furnace.

And then they leave, and a young woman is there and I kind of get her to go over and I help, and we’ve managed to pull the boy out of the furnace, and he’s okay. So now I have this young woman and the boy, and I just know that they’re a key somehow to helping repel the invaders, or something that is about the future. So I’m trying to stay with them, or protect them, or see what will happen there. That’s all I remember of that dream.

John: So, it’s a very interesting way that this dream is working, because the dream starts off and it has you in a place or a planet, and in that place, or planet, is this masculine side that is important, but it needs to be protected. It needs to be protected by virtue of grounding, in other words, something that helps to facilitate it staying okay.

And the thing about this is that quality, that energy, that the boy represents, that aspect of the masculine is important for purposes of how things are able to shift and change. It brings that in. The problem is this energy is intangible in terms of the way it comes in, in other words, in terms of holding its space.

And so it’s up to you to have to figure out how to hold the space for that, so that it can come into its own, or so that it can have then the ability to move around and to come out. And the fact that this is triculating in you also means that what’s triculating is a whole bunch more, you know, and how do you sort it out and take in what you need to take in? Because the dimensionality of things is something that floods the situation.

In other words, it’s as if normal ways of denseness and protection isn’t readily there like it used to be, and that the dream is suggesting, however, that you need to hold your focus and attention upon something in-between, because the other is over the top from you and it creates a confusion that obliterates, even, what this other is about.

It’s as if, for example, on an energetic level you’ve developed a certain groundedness that you’re able to hold onto and utilize to facilitate, and sustain, and maintain something that you have learned to step out with, that enables you then to bump into some things in your consciousness that is new ground. And that you have to have the discernment to know how to ground a particular aspect and, if you don’t ground that particular aspect, the overallness and overwhelmingness of the other will swallow all of it up again, so that you won’t be able to hold onto, or retain, or protect, or maintain anything.

So you have reached the point inside where you have the knowingness of the importance of what is involved, and you are able to catch up with the feeling of that, in terms of this boy, and you have to ground that enough so that that can open up and come out. But with that, you’ve opened the floodgates to this other, and this other can swallow everything up. It can take and affect that so that you never get a chance to pull that out, you never get a chance to make that step.

So it’s an interesting dream because it’s giving you information in terms of how to appreciate the attention that you need to place in the environment around you, in terms of not overreaching, in terms of knowing how to ground something, so that that, in its importance, can come out, in due time, and in a proper way, and not be obliterated.

And so you’re being told inside yourself that you have the responsibility of being able to ground the in-between stuff, and from the in-between base build the other that is over the top, that haunts and tears things away, and will tear away even the in-between stuff and the clarity of that, which you know is important, that you can ground.

So it is showing you timing, it is showing you how to utilize a certain energetic in order to sustain something. Basically, it’s showing you how to shift. In other words, when you suddenly become aware of a whole greater dimension of things, your attention has to be in terms of being able to take it on in the correct piece-meal way.

So what you’re doing in terms of all of this, is you’re able to take a look at what is important in terms of the incremental, small step-by-step approach, how to hold that, and sustain that, and the significance and importance of that, so that what is set in motion, in terms of disturbances or however things get set in motion when something starts shifting, so that the disturbances don’t tear up what is transpiring, and can transpire, as a subtle shift.

So you’re doing it, and you’re doing it in a very specific way. You’re doing it by a type of nature that grounds that, that brings about a grounding of that energetic that you know is important. And you hold that, you hold that. You don’t let that go askew, and that’s how you’re able to facilitate things taking the steps, one by one, as they need to be taken, because that’s how you are able to make something hearable and knowable.

Creation
Laura Sotka 2008It’s probably one of the oldest misconceptions in spirituality or religion: that you can rise above the world into a state of holiness and everything will be okay. In fact, the only way to get to a high spiritual state is to go through the lower, physical realms. That’s why we’re here, on a planet and in a body, in the first place. Creation wants what is sacred to be brought down to this little place in a far corner of the universe. Animals can’t assist in that process – only humans can. It’s part of our design. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: The last dream, I’m not quite sure exactly how it starts. It feels like I’m kind of hanging out with two old coots, and then I have a young boy with me that’s kind of at that age where he still kind of clings to you a little bit.

I don’t know what’s happened, but I’ve gotten separated from the men and they’re across the way from me. And I can’t really believe it, but one of them has taken out a gun and he’s going to shoot at us, at me and the little boy. So I feel like I have to get us to some place safe. And I look around. I go around the corner where they can’t see me, and I have some options of going up or down at that point. And I decide I will take the little boy and go up, because it’s illogical. You know, people expect you to run down and out of a building, so I think that way we’ll be concealed.

So I run up and I go up, it’s kind of a concrete building, but I go up like two stories and I go into an administrative office there. Within the office, for some reason, there’s a partition that goes up a little further. And I go up and I hide behind that partition. If I kind of lay down on the concrete—it’s kind of a concrete partition, but if I kind of lay down on it, just above the lip of it or something, then the boy and I can be concealed.

Well, there’s some men up there in that office, and one of them says we can’t hide there. They don’t want us to bring anybody in there that might be shooting or anything, and if we get shot that’s just our problem. Then I look down and I realize the boy isn’t there, so I have to go find him anyway.

So I start walking down and I kind of glare at the one guy that said that, you know, he’s going to just throw us to the wolves, kind of. And I looked at him and said, you know, I can’t do anything like I can’t stay there if he won’t let us, I said. On the other hand I can certainly publicize what he did. And he gets this alarmed look on his face because he’s one of those people that, you know, thinks he gets away with everything. I’m going to publicize it. I’m really pissed. You don’t throw a woman and a little kid out to the wolves, so to speak. But meanwhile my main thing is to find the little boy.

I’m really angry though. Then I go around the corner, and then I come to a door. When I reach to pull the door open, it’s like the two guys, the one that was shooting there, the two guys that were together that I’d originally come in with and one even that were shooting at me, they’re behind the door with the little boy. I pull the door open. They’re looking sheepish. They weren’t really going to shoot us, right?

Meanwhile, I just grab the boy who’s been upset by all of this, you know, and I’m kind of hugging him, or he’s hugging and grabbing a hold of me, and I’m looking at the two old coots. I’m pretty disgusted with the whole scene. I’m thinking that maybe from now on I’ll just hang around with gay men. I think that was when I woke up.

John: So this dream is challenging a concept, a spiritual concept, that one develops – even though one’s heard that it doesn’t work this way over and over and over and over and over again. And that is that you can’t escape through some sort of transcendent realization of yourself. And a transcendent realization is where you try to climb a Tower of Babel, or understanding of things.

So, if you’re trying to escape going up, it’s not going to work. And it’s as if you don’t belong up there. It’s quickly pointed out, you know, that you don’t belong up there. And so you have this concept, of course, that, how can you be denied? You know, a woman and a boy and whatnot, how can you be denied? But the little boy of yourself knows that it needs to be down lower, too.

It’s the feminine needing its security that seems to think that it can go that way, but as soon as you were doing that, I knew that that was no security. There’s no security that way. The security is that you’re part of creation, and you wake everything up, and open everything up in creation.

So when you go back down and you’re on the plane of creation, and you’re working from the plane of creation, creation can’t be eliminated. You get away from that and you could be in trouble.

But as you come back down into creation, as you’re going into the depths of yourself again, back into who and how you actually are that in an aspect of creation. A wholeness in and of creation. In other words, the creator’s creation. You can’t be hurt.

You can only be hurt if you take and don’t know that, and try to stay separate from that; then you can be hurt.

And so the alarms that you have over things turns out to be, well, just kind of like false alarms. You can’t be touched when you’re rooted enough.

And also one of the things that will root you is a certain passion. You know, the quality of having to extend something towards something, towards the masculine and into a protectorate of giving it into quality. Bringing it. Maintaining it. Sustaining it in the quality of the environment of creation.

And you can’t be denied that, or otherwise creation would be obliterated. No one really wants to obliterate the environment that they’re in. They may be doing it out of foolishness, but they don’t really want to obliterate themselves, too, which is what would happen.

So when you come down, you confront the ignorance, so to speak, and it has to yield. And that’s what it’s like to go into the depth of yourself, too. That sort of stuff has to fall away when you experience the depth of yourself.

But it’s a good dream about not getting caught up in the idea that you have to be protected, and you have to catch up with some sort of transcendent recognition, or something. That you’re just fine just the way you are.

Heart08122012In this dream analysis, we can see how the individual elements play a role in understanding the whole of what the dream is trying to communicate. A cabin behind a main house establishes a separate space for the main character, and the little boy who Jeane is taking responsibility for points to a masculine energy that’s not fully evolved in her. The relationships show that some new space is being created, separate from what has been established in the past – represented by the grandmother energy. In this way, everything can tell us something about what is going on on an inner level. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: In my first dream, I’m living on my paternal grandmother’s property, it feels like, or at least staying there. And the way her house was built you would have a driveway that came up alongside the house and kind of circled around back and you would go in through a screened porch in the back.

But instead of going in to the main house I seem to staying in a little cabin that’s on that little driveway in the back. My cousin from Canada is visiting and he has a little boy, and people seem to let the little boy run around kind of unsupervised, so I’ve taken the little boy and I’m letting him sleep in my cabin.

It feels like once I kind of know where he is and that he’s settled, then it’s almost like I can leave. And I go over to, I actually have a pickup, I go to get in the pickup it feels like my cousin comes over to give me a kiss because he’s glad I’m looking after the little boy.

At the same time I’m kind of a little concerned that everyone else never seems to watch after the little boy as much as they should.

John: The theme of the dreaming, from my perspective, indicates that I was holding a position that was purposefully separate, and that holding that position was important in terms of a bigger picture that wasn’t visible in the immediate scenario, or the way that you would expect something to unfold.

And what you’re doing is, you too are holding a position, but it feels like a comfortable position that you’re holding, as opposed to the position I’m holding, which feels uncomfortable. And that by holding that position you’re able to appreciate or catch up with the little boy quality, so to speak, of yourself.

Or a type of masculine that is still growing up or in its infancy. You’re able to come and be closer to that. So what is interesting is that, in my dream, there is the idea of being intertwined or merging with an aspect of something at a depth within my lineage. And that by not doing so, or appearing to not do so, because it’s not what the appearances appear to be either because I never really let go of something that I take note of, that this leads to a breakthrough that normally wouldn’t be apparent, which is outside of what you would expect.

In your particular case you have made it natural, or seem natural, that you’re able to live in a cabin, and from this cabin, as opposed to in the house, and that the cabin and the house are associated in that it is the grandmother’s cabin, but you’re not quite living in the house.

But by living in the cabin, you have established and found a space, or an independence, or a quality inside of yourself that can look after and take into the heart something of a nature that is to unfold or awaken in the future.

Where do you think the cousin is staying?

Jeane: I don’t know. It almost feels like we’re all visiting, but when we visit I stay there.

John: It’s like that part can actually stay in the grandmother’s house, but you have established something more of a space, and in having established something more of a space you’ve also taken on a type of responsibility that ordinarily you wouldn’t reach.

The cousin and whatnot is still under the care, or the guidance, and the surrender to the space and consciousness and presence of the grandmother. That just denotes that there’s a quality of a connection, I mean it’s still there somehow, but there’s a quality of a connection or a recognition.

The interesting thing, the sensation of the dream is almost a quality of wondrousness and quaintness. There’s something really sweet about this little cabin. It could be considered funky, it could be off to one side, it could have been considered something that is just there second hand or secondarily, but in the dream it doesn’t have that sense, it has the sense that it serves a very useful purpose – the fact that you’re able to be in that cabin.

You’re actually still an extension of that grandmother’s energy, but you are able to function and maintain something to probe out, to take something more into your own heart than those who are staying directly in the grandmother’s house, who are still in a state of more of an initial evolvement.

It just sits with you, this vibration of you being in that cabin as having a wondrousness to it.
