jyotiranga-lingasIt is always a popular question, in trying to understand dreams, as to why we dream about certain people we know, whether family or friends, or even famous people. As a general rule, these people represent, for us, some aspect of ourselves or what we are going through. As we see in this dream, there is the sister as well as a great niece (who is pregnant), and that further distance removed of the great niece speaks of something new arising from a deeper place within; we see that a connection is trying to be made. Jeane: There was a little dream maybe right before this, too, where I was going into a building that had a restaurant in the basement. I leave wherever I am to go down to that restaurant because I realize that my great niece, who’s pregnant, she’s going to meet me. And she has a young man with her, and she’s going to give birth any day, but she had come out. She wanted to get together with me.

And I think she went to the restaurant a little ahead of me and then she’s sitting at a table, and I go in and I’ve ordered something, but the restaurant’s not quite open. Somebody’s going to get something for me, but they must have forgotten or something because it doesn’t come, the food doesn’t come.

And I have to go find her, yet, so I go into the kitchen, but I know I’m not really supposed to be in that area. They’re all working; then I go back to where I think like I was before when they took an order and there’s a line up now. And then I go to another room and there’s more of a line up, so I decide I have to forget about the food and just try to find her.

But by now I can’t find her, and I go outside and I do run into some people from my sister’s high school class, and they’re talking about somebody in that class. I don’t know what’s happened. Something’s happened to them. And that was just a little dream that I had that I think came before the first dream.

John: So it looks like a bit of a yo-yo process in that you use something even deeper, or further removed, which is your great niece, who is bringing forth something into life. In other words, there’s an aliveness trying to wake up.

And then you use your sister, and her aspect of you, as something that is more in the outer now, because your great niece is further removed. It’s a deeper depth quality. You know, it’s a great niece, as opposed to a sister, and so the things that are you, that are what you have to recognize, and realize, and open up to at a deeper depth, or further removed, in a great niece, and yet at the same time they can be blurred by things that are more in the present which is the events that surround your sister.

Isn’t that interesting how you would do that? But you’ve got to also realize you’ve got to keep this into context with the other dream that you had, which is the dream in which you could take this image and flip it a little bit, and so then the value of what is brought into life, as exemplified symbolically by your great niece being pregnant, has a similitude to the things that you are packaging around the campfire to hand out.

And the aspect is something that is cluttering that, or clouding that, or blurring that, which is what’s going on with your sister, is similar to the reaction of that which is haunting you, and chasing after you, in an attempt to obliterate what you have connected to, or to stop that.

And the lines that you see on this pathway that you’re on, the yellow line could represent the Naqshbandi. And the reason why I said that there’s probably an orange line there is it would represent a little of the Chisti involvement. And they both work with an aspect of the breath in terms of trying to open something up, with the breaths being accentuated in opposite capacities between the Naqshbandi and the Chisti. And so that’s just kind of how that is.

spiritual-life-coaching-2It is common for us to think, or believe, that we can sort everything out with our brain. But, on our spiritual journey, it doesn’t work that way. Our spiritual life requires the all of us, and comes from inner into outer in life. Connections are made, and pathways are opened up, from the inside, and only then can we truly connect with the outer world. That’s why it has been said that our journey is more about feeling than thinking, because we learn over time to realize when we are connected and when we are not – and that comes from the subtlety of our feeling senses. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: The next dream, the only part that I remember it’s like I’ve gotten together with some family, or friends, and we want to go see my great niece, and her husband, though I seem to be just about their age in the dream, fairly young.

And it must be around the holidays, and they’re at somebody else’s house, so I go with the people that I’m with. And I realize they also want to hook me up with somebody there, because of some common goal we have in mind, like maybe we both want to lose weight or something, we want to do something. So I go with them to this house, and it’s kind of an odd house when you walk in because you go into an upstairs area like a building. It’s like a building at first, like you go into an upstairs area, and then you come to a place that’s almost like a turnstile that’s kind of blocked.

And I start to move something and go that way, and then I change my mind and I go down to the left and that leads me downstairs through the house, and to an outside area, where there’s some picnic tables and that’s where my niece and her husband are – and their friend that everybody’s trying to hook me up with.

So he’s a young man. He’s sitting kind of like on a picnic table, so I must go over and I sit either on a bench or on the ground, not too far from where he is, so that he and I can talk. And it feels like other people disappear, and it feels like he’s kind of interested in our connecting because of some common goal we have that people feel, if we were together, it would be easier to meet that goal. And I seem to be the one that I’m not so sure about this. That was the whole dream, as I recall it.

John: So you’re still playing with this aspect of something that is resourced, so to speak, at a depth inside of yourself, and that it sits there oriented in a way that is blood-lined, or family oriented, or something like that. In other words, there was the greater dimension of yourself that seeks to pull things together.

And that even so, you have that as a frame of reference upon which to lean on, and grow with, and of course that sort of thing helps you get outside of your insecurities and whatnot because you have a basis upon which to lean, and be, which is you, but you have presented to you in the outer in this way because you seem to be better able to live something when it is like that.

Well, there’s still this other dormant quality, or trait, that needs to come out. And so it’s hidden even when you are in the house. In other words, there’s the turnstile. In other words, it’s just not readily there.

But when you come to understand that, in other words, when you go into and do a little in-depthness and come back outside into life, with all of this aspect of yourself working together, in other words it’s like you can come into life and sort it out. I mean you know how to scrutinize and be okay, and not let the mess of what can happen by the little illusions of things, you can clean all of that up, because you have this greater sense.

There’s still more that needs to come out, however, and that more that needs to come out has a designed purpose behind it. And you’re coming to realize that that comes out in relationship to, again, a certain way of you coming to grips with a wholeness in your environment.

In other words, in terms of the guidance of the dream, you’re functioning in terms of it awakening, or coming about, a little differently than me. I have to take and plow around in the dark, and fumble and look for the variable of something that comes through insightfully. In your particular case, you just need to be in an environment in which that is conducive.

In other words, there’s something about the way you carry yourself then, that causes you to be in an environment conducive with how you are, and when that environment, that is conducive to how it is that you need to be in order to be free to allow something to emerge, then it emerges.

In other words, it works a little different for you. You are like the frog, plop in the pond. You’re just in that and it just naturally emerges. And your dream is indicating that there is something that naturally emerges as the circumstances of yourself, as manifestation, in manifestation, as those circumstances emerge, you emerge in terms of your greater beingness. That’s interesting. It doesn’t work that way for me, but it does that way for the feminine, huh?

863024We’re born here on the planet, and every event we experience either creates a psychology (usually in the first encounters with events or situations), or adds to one or more of them. That’s what we call the baggage of life. And there’s no question that these things that stick to us slow us down, and limit our freedoms of expression and of emotion. Mostly we see this as a fact of life, but if we really understood that we come here to learn how to be in the universe, we wouldn’t take everything that happens to us so personally – we’d have an elevated perspective. The more personally we take life, the more will stick to us during this journey. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: I just remember the last part of my dream, and I seem to be in a space where there’s like a mat that runs down the center of the floor. And there’s a person at the head of the mat that’s kind of directing things.

As you come to the mat there’s like this sticky substance that has one end that can go on the mat, and it comes up in the air about two feet, and then it sticks to you. And you’re kind of learning how to navigate being stuck to that substance.

And then there’s some relatives that come and they want to go past us. They’re glad to come visit because they want to go past us and they get to go into a rodeo, or race course, that I guess we own, free. They do that, but when they come back by us they have to learn how to negotiate the mat with the sticky substance that you stick to yourself, and you’re a foot or so above the ground, and then you have to figure out how to move around with that.

But one of the people with the band of relatives gets violently ill right away, so I have to get that cleaned up – by throwing up right before he gets to the mat. I’m figuring we have to figure out how to clean that up, and then we have to figure out how to get the rest of the relatives by, plus I’m still learning how to navigate this whole mat thing.

Then I realize they just kind of want to come and have a freebie for the racehorses, or the rodeo, or whatever that’s going on, but that seems okay, a whole bunch of them, because my focus is more on like how to learn how to navigate on the mat. That’s about all I remember of that dream.

John: The mat, and the stickiness of the mat, that represents the denseness in manifestation. In other words, when you’re in manifestation your responsibilities here in manifestation, and that’s what you have to contend with, and that’s all that you know, or work with, or it’s what you take on as your challenge, then you have to contend and learn how to navigate the stickiness of the awkwardness of things as they exist on this plane only.

However, your dream is showing that you have a greater breadth to your nature than just that. In other words, you have something that comes in, like the soul coming into life, and when it hits this dense plane it can get sick, or amnesic and, you know, it can lose it.

In other words, you’re sitting right in the nits and grits of things, in terms of manifestation, and so you’re able to help something that comes into manifestation because your focus is on figuring out how to navigate the stickiness of things. And so when something comes in, that part of yourself that comes in can get sick and can lose it. However, if that part of yourself, or the relatives inside of you, so to speak, can be conducted into life, they then can go and enjoy, and open up to, and come to appreciate – and the relatives represent the expanded side of yourself – they can come to appreciate what’s more going on here, or the rodeo of things.

It’s interesting that you call it a rodeo, not one’s first rodeo. A rodeo has all kinds of significance in terms of a sense of freedom that opens up in terms of one learning how to do things. And so then you learn that by going into the depths of yourself, so to speak, and you learn then how to overcome the stickiness of things in the outer by having gone into and probed the depths of yourself to find that whole dimension.

And that whole dimension then corresponds to going back home. So, in other words, the relatives that can come out of the rodeo go back in, and through, and let go of the stickiness, go beyond the stickiness of manifestation per se, and go home.

It’s an interesting way of actually describing how the breath works, but doing it on what almost appears to be like a lateral east/west level, where something from the east can come in, can get sick when it hits the schematic of the physical because it can be too much for it, and it could throw up and whatnot, and somehow or another your attention is just in accommodating things that come from the east in, or come from the west back, and go to the east home.

In other words, you don’t portray the image of north/south so much as you portray it almost like an east/west motion where something comes to the area, gets sick, or can come to the area, you can assist it in navigating the stickiness of things, it can then go to the rodeo, in other words learn to open up and be free in terms of how it is in life in manifestation, in other words, not be just immersed in the density of things, so it can then experience so much more.

And then in experiencing so much more transcend all the way back, you know, and the key is in understanding and coping with the purpose, and the intent, of manifestation, and its stickiness and its denseness in terms of this whole schematic of free-flow between a type of beginning, which is a coming in where you could get sick, and a type of end within the realizing of the heaven on Earth, which means that you can enjoy and come to appreciate the greater whole here, the rodeo of it all.

And then, at the same time, the beginning and the end are one and the same. But the key to understanding that, and the key to grasping that, is when you realize how to overcome all of the stickiness of things and are able to show all parts of yourself how to be in relationship to that so that it can enjoy and appreciate this whole greater dimension of east to here, to west to here, to east, in other words like a breath, in other words, with nothing sticking. Isn’t that interesting?
