510_Trying to make sense of things is a common process in dreams. Here, the dreamer is traveling back and forth between the inner and the outer, attempting to sort things out, but nothing is quite working as it should. As a metaphor, it points to the idea of the struggle to leave our comfort zone of viewing life as an outer experience, and seeking to find our balance and equilibrium on an inner level. Once there, what doesn’t quite work or fit will fall into place. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: So in this dream I’ve traveled to a mountain community, and it’s kind of odd because I have to go into almost an indoor area like almost like a cave area that goes up the mountain, past a home where a couple lives, go up some kind of strange chute, well then I come to the homes of the people I’m going to stay with.

Well, there’s some people that live at the bottom that kind of show me how to get up the chute the first time I do it, and when I go up there initially it feels like I’m helping set up how the houses are going to be, so there’s two or three houses near each other. And one of them, it feels like one of the rooms that I’m helping set up right now has a lot in it, so I’m getting busy trying to straighten and clean it up because it has duplicates on a lot of things, whether it’s a bed or a washing machine or other things.

So I’m kind of going back and forth from one room to the other trying to get it straightened up, and cleaned up, and the laundry done and out so that the room is more usable. And then I’ve gone over next door and looked at what was going on there, and when I come back it feels like what I’m doing in this space is I‘m also setting up a store of some kind. And a swimming area, and I’ve put fish in the swimming area, even though I was swimming in the area at one point.

I get pretty tired after I’ve got all this… and someone comes in. We don’t have a calculator yet, so people want to come to one little area and maybe buy a drink or do other things, and I kind of tell the person at the counter because I don’t have a calculator or anything yet we don’t have it all set up yet, they’ll just have to write it down as best they could whether we get people a sale or sometimes we’ll give people a discount or they’ll have to just figure out the taxes. We’ll have to do all that later because they’re coming in before we’re really ready for them.

Plus, some of the kids now have gone into the pool where I just was, and I’m watching them swim, and then I’m telling someone I’m not sure they can really swim there yet because I put these tiny piranha in the pool. And they seem like friendly little piranha; they haven’t bitten anybody, but I’m still not sure if anybody should be in the pool yet with all the fish I’ve got in there.

And then I leave because I’m pretty tired, and it feels like I’ve rested, but somehow I’ve gone back down outside and I’m with some other people, and I decide to go swimming in the river or whatever’s down below. I’m with two other people but I’m not really dressed.

John: So in this dream, what you’re doing is you are making it across or, in other words, this works in stages in terms of catching up with parts of yourself, because you’ve got other qualities that are along the way, so to speak. You can then go through the corridor, and it’s now where a whole bunch of… well, it’s a whole other existence there.

This inner quality, this inner state, is a realm in which you are meant to be at home there, but you haven’t caught up with. In other words, you are there, but what’s missing in terms of an acuity is the masculine aspect of spirit energy.

You have an effect in this place, in that it has a myriad way of complexities in which what is there can be a bit much because the memo, in terms of what to make out of this, has not come through. That’s what I mean by masculine spirit energy. The feminine spirit energy effuses everywhere in this place. You don’t have the meaningfulness of it understood as to why there are piranha in the pond.

In other words it’s got the whole general schematic, but what is it all about? In other words, you embody all of that, you’re in the presence of all of that, but then you need the… you’re taking all of that in, and you’re taking it in as a quality that is opened on the other side of yourself, so to speak, in other words at an inner depth of yourself. You’re taking all of this, in even though you’re not quite sure what to denote about it. You’re still in the scenario of it all, and then what happened in the next dream?

Jeane: Well it’s like I’ve left there, left some people in charge that can figure out the taxes and all that.

So I’ve gone out and gone down and there’s a river right before where you have the entrance to this whole place. I’m with two other people, and they’re going to go swimming. I feel like I’m not quite dressed for swimming, but I must take things off and just go swimming in my slip and underclothes.

So I get in the river, then I see something floating towards me and it’s a cow skin, you know like a cow hide with a head on it, and I kind of stop it for a minute just to see that that’s all it is. It’s not a cow. It’s just a cow’s skin. Then I fold it back up and let it continue to float down the river.

John: In other words, it’s like what you’re finding is you’re finding something that in terms of its spirit energy embodiment there is something missing. In other words, you haven’t caught up with that, and it floats in life, and it’s just like not knowing what tax to put on things, what to make out of the fish.

So you’re going back and forth between inner and outer, and in the outer you’re finding something that’s just the skin of things. In other words, just the reflection of things. The body of it is still missing, so now you go back in the inner.

Jeane: Well now I try to go back in the inner. When I start up the chute though I don’t… because the people that had helped me before aren’t there, and I just worry I might slip. I’m not sure at first how to get up the chute, but the couple that had helped me before come out even though I can tell they don’t maybe not approve… totally approved of how I’m dressed, but I’m just focused on getting up the chute. That seems irrelevant to me. That’s the end of that dream and then I have another just little dream.

John: So in this dream, it’s like by adding this other part to it, it points out that you were taken somewhere but you weren’t quite comfortable in this overallness of the place that you were taken. And in this place that you were taken you’re intertwined with all that exists because that’s the nature of how spirit energy is. It’s that there is no distinctive parts. You’re intertwined with all that exists there, but you aren’t ready to understand how everything in place is meant to be, in terms of the fish, and in terms of the tax, and in terms of all of that. You don’t understand that.

So you go back out into the outer, and it doesn’t work for you there either because you realize that what you perceive in the outer is just the skin of things. You know that there is so much more. You’re kind of caught in this in-between zone where you know that there is so much more, and in the outer you can’t immerse yourself into a consciousness/unconsciousness kind of thing there because what you find there, you’ve accessed something inside of yourself in such a way so that it has no meaningfulness.

So you try to go back to the inner, but you weren’t balanced in the inner because you were missing the vitalness of what it was about, on a masculine spirit energy way, so you can’t get back in there. But you have memories of it now, because you had a glimpse of that. And so on an energetic level you recognize how it is that you’re meant to be able to hear, listen, and function.

And it’s a way in which you have to drop a little bit of the observer quality for this because what is happening there happens as a oneness in which everything makes sense. And for it to make sense that’s where the spirit energy has to open up in terms of what is all meaningful in this depth of yourself.

lands_640Off a bridge, would you too? It’s an age-old conundrum, but this dream points out that concept on an inner level. Since we are all the characters in our dreams, the roles played by others in our images become very interesting. Are they with us? Ignoring us? Working against us? It is so important to remember all the lives we have inside us, because one aspect within us may be absolutely sure we want to make a spiritual journey, while other aspects have different agendas. That’s not a flaw, yet to truly keep on our path we must, over time, convince every part of ourselves of the mutual goal. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: The very earliest dream I had, I was a younger boy in that dream. The only scene I remember is jumping into some water that was this really pretty green color. And then I’m with a couple other boys, but I didn’t really pull that dream out.

And then in the next dream, which seemed all jumbled, it just felt like they were friends. It felt like they were boys about 12 or so, but nice kids.

I jumped in the water and then I got out. I don’t even know if they jumped in for sure. The water was this beautiful, kind of green water. It was a green color that was really pretty. That’s the only reason I think I even remembered the scene.

John: So you jumped in the water because you recognized something about the water.

Jeane: But it was like you couldn’t stay in it.

John: And you couldn’t stay in it because…?

Jeane: I don’t know.

John: And the only ones around were those that were other than people that you might be familiar with?

Jeane: They were friends, but I don’t remember.

John: Well, I’ll tell you what the theme of the dreaming is, not that it adds to the dream. Your second dream probably finishes things, but the theme of the dreaming has to do with discovering a part of yourself that does not necessarily apply, or is it apparent, or is it accepted, or is it taken on, by those who are part of your connective group. Those who you are familiar with.

In other words, they aren’t going along and jumping in the water, although you do kind of know them. It is you that has the excitement and the interest and the draw to jump into the water. And then, of course, you get right out, but at no time do you see that any of them have joined you.

And so, a dream like this raises the question, why is that the case? But you did know who they were. Did you always know who they were before you jumped in the water? Apparently barely. You don’t know for sure. You just were able to see them. You had a sense they were friends.

And that’s the dilemma. In other words, it seems to be portraying something that you’re to do, that opens something up, expands something, but there doesn’t appear to be any reciprocation or recognition in terms of their camaraderie about that issue. And you know that you’re to jump in the water and then you get right out?

You just knew you had to jump in the water and then get right out. You just saw yourself jump in the water, then get right out. That’s what you saw. It’s not a question of knowing that you had to do this. You just said that that’s what you saw yourself doing.

That works, too, in terms of being able to provide or be part of a quality or a note or a breakthrough that is not readily appreciated, or understood, or part of where your friends are at.

green-energyFollowing her earlier dream (see A Natural Naturalness), Jeane’s next dream takes the imagery a step further by creating a better connection to the natural intelligence that we all seek in our journey. Here it comes in the form of the color green, and she finds herself being shown an “alternative” path by a nun – a higher aspect of herself. As humans, we like to think we are the intelligent ones, but true intelligence comes from higher up, or deeper inside, as a guidance for us. When we begin to act from that, we begin to be more naturally in tune. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: Part of what was happening is I was partially waking up and I was realizing I wasn’t having all of the cold symptoms I had yesterday – sneezing and the coughing – and I was wondering about that. And as soon as I wondered about that, I could see this particular shade of green that was where my third eye was, a certain color that I associated with why I suddenly didn’t have the cold symptoms.

I was curious about that and what that seemed to do. When I got curious about that, the dream shifted and I found myself in Italy. And in Italy I’m visiting a big group; it’s of nuns and a nun comes to lead me.

And the way she does it is she gets ahead of me, and I can see where we’re going is across this stream, or lake, I can’t tell which, and she gets in and she swims out to this raft on the lake, where there’re several other nuns up on the raft, and then I guess that ferries people over. There’s also a bridge that pedestrians can go down and walk across on.

Well, I think the nuns are supposed to swim out there and get in the water. People like me, that are the pedestrians, are supposed to go use the bridge. So I get in the water and I swim behind her, and I get up on the raft behind her when she swims out there. And she seems surprised by this and it’s almost like she’s going to tell me to go back, but then she takes my hands.

And part of what the nuns do in their work, it’s some kind of work they do with their hands, which get really hot. And she notices that my hands get hot like that, so she takes me over to have me touch this really old person who’s in charge of the order, an old woman at a table, who holds out her hands and has me put my hands in hers and then she tells me something, I can’t remember now.

Then before it’s time for me to come back here, as I’m still looking at the color and it seems to me we’re talking something about earth changes in California or somewhere, and it’s like she wants me to be back there for them, because I came there for something but now it’s time to go back. And I’m not clear about what’s the difference between being there and coming back.

John: So, this is way beyond where I went. And what you did is because of a naturalness that the feminine carries to creation into life, it can access the color or, you might say, the light as it comes down.

The light, as it comes down, carries information. And, initially, the light as it comes down that you’re accessing, it’s lower-level light, initially. It’s red, orange, yellow, or something. Anyway, it comes across as having darkish features. And so, even though you may wish it to be something different and there is a naturalness in it, even in that – if you can just adhere to it – it helps to have a certain consciousness that works in relationship to that in order for it to link and flow better.

It’s showing that you have the imbalance of the consciousness because you are almost at a point at the dinner table of having a natural flow, but then you have the indulgence of something of your higher self yet that needs to open up. And not being able to completely let yourself go into it, into life, is what this image is, but then that changes.

And what changes is you access the information, because every ray has information behind it. And you access the green ray and the green ray, then, brings you into direct recognition of the information as to how you need to flow and be in life, in creation.

Before you were getting to it, but you don’t actually hit the linkage that pulls in the higher self. And the earlier part of the dream was upstairs. Now you pulled in the color green, so as a consequence of hitting at the color green, then you do not have to function in terms of like everybody else has to function, where they have to go out on the dock and you have to do this, that, and the other to get somewhere.

You are able to work with the greater focus of yourself, the more pristineness of yourself, which is portrayed to be the nun. You can follow her, which is a surprise to her, because this pristine quality, this connectivity inside of oneself, is not something that people commonly are able to do.

And so you’re even surprised, because you’re so accustomed to thinking that it has to be done in this old nuts-and-bolts way that is very laborious, and reflective, and retentive. And yet you have the ability to swim, to flow, to go out, and go at a different pace. And it all has to do with being able to hold and hold onto the green quality that you’ve finally accessed, that enables you to do things in a more natural, immediate, and spontaneous and clear-cut way in the outer.

I only spoke about it in a general motif, and you took it the next step farther and you took it down to recognizing how it is that these tools all light inside of yourself, and that you catch up with those in order to make a naturalness awaken and be known to yourself. And one of those colors is the green color.

Now, the other colors that are darkish, they don’t necessarily have to be red or orange, for example. They could have been purple, which is a higher octave color, but in any event, the need was to get to the green, because the green is the one that works directly in creation. It kind of bridges the in-between gap between higher self and lower self, and you pull things together with the green.

You find the pristineness in the green that you don’t find in the spiritual aspirations that can be in the higher self, nor do you find them in the day-to-day, no matter how gifted you might be. You don’t find them in the day-to-day in the lower aspects of yourself.
