DreamThinkDoIt may sound shocking, but there is a huge difference between believing in a spiritual, or religious, path, and doing that spiritual or religious path. Because if we only engage at the level of an abstract idea or concept, then we are missing the point. We must live the belief or concept, meaning we must put those ideas or concepts into action in our life. That’s how we, over time, become the journey itself, we are its outplay. Of course we know that an idea written on a napkin, but never made real through actions and effort, amounts to nothing. It is the same with our journey; it only becomes real when we do it. Jeane: The first dream I didn’t pull out as well, but it seemed like it started out with there’s this like milky-colored type substance and it’s almost like I’m pulling something out of it by putting a word together.

That’s about the most I can tell you. And it was very feminine in nature, whatever I was doing.

John: The pulling something out might have been feminine, in other words, something arising.

Jeane: It was horizontal.

John: Yeah, it’s horizontal. Vertical is not feminine, but then the pulling of something out is horizontal, which is feminine, but the something that caused something to be quickened so that you could pull something out, was masculine.

It’s important because this is a big conception that’s getting in the road. What’s getting in the road is that a person sits back and waits for something to happen, thinking that this is a process where you wait. The idea is that it takes a while to make a soul pregnant or something, and so you wait. And if you wait, you wait forever, because this is also a path of service and you have to be involved and the greater teacher is the outer.

In other words, every teacher will say that, and so you have to put yourself into the equation of things in order for something to happen. It’s just like Carl Jung in his dream where he saw this yogi sitting under a banyan tree whose face was him, and then he realized that if this yogi woke up he would no longer be in existence, or be alive, or however you would put that.

In other words, we live in a dreamer/dreamed state, and the inner quality that is quiet, that’s the yogi in the meditation is the dreamer. And all change and everything comes from within, and the dreamer dreams, and the dreamed plays it out.

Now, if in the dream state you do not keep yourself in the equation of things, because you’re waiting for something to happen, then you are living in a state of conceptualization. You are expecting something to happen out of the blue.

What happens out of the blue? Blue is a color that’s associated with conceptualization. In other words, it’s a higher-self color associated with conceptualization. When you reach a certain realization that there are parts of yourself that you don’t like, then you don’t know what to make out of that – you’re in a state of bewilderment – so you wait for something to happen out of the blue.

But you have to put yourself into an activation, and then you realize what it is that is meant to be. It happens in that kind of chemistry. It’s alchemy. This is a form of alchemy

Jeane: So that dream proceeds to something I just vaguely remember, but the gist of it seemed to be that I was part of people that were being gathered together to serve in the military, and I’m trying to keep a secret.

So it’s like I’m trying to kind of almost hide in the midst of these other people in the military, thinking I won’t have the secret maybe because I’m feminine, or of how I’m dressed maybe they won’t search me and find whatever it is I’m trying to hide.

But that’s all I remember.

John: It’s similar to that other little minuet in that you have something inside that is the aliveness of your being, yet at the same time you’re required to get into the mix of things in life that is complicated, like military service or something.

And yet at the same time you have your attention placed upon, you have something that is secret, that is hidden. Now, you are thinking in the dream of course that it is hidden upon you, but not necessarily, could be hidden within you.

And you don’t trust yourself with being able to be in the service, along with the secret, and yet that is what you’re required to be and required to do. In other words, that’s how things work. We have moved into alchemy.

Jeane: Then I have a dream where I’m with you and another person, and we’ve climbed to the top of some kind of structure. By that I mean it’s almost like these steps have been carved in white marble or something like that, marble or something chalky even, and we’re way up at the top. When you look down it can almost make you dizzy.

And there really aren’t many handrails or anything. And then you can climb down so far and then you get to steps that are easier to go down. Well, you guys have taken off ahead of me and you seem to have made it down. I’m hesitant, because I don’t care too much for heights.

And I notice that if I go on the other side of this little wall that, yeah, there are these tricky steps that go down partway, but then it looks like there’s a trolly or something down there that one can ride in and goes to a wall and through and on down. So I think maybe I’ll try that.

You guys have already gone down the other side. So I get part way down and I get to where the trolly is but I see that it’s something that doesn’t really work – I can’t take it. So then I turn around to go back up.

There are really no railings. It’s kind of hard to do and then when I do start to grab something that I could use to help myself get back up it pulls away from the wall. So it’s looking very precarious, but in spite of that I seem to kind of get back up the steps.

But now I kind of have to get it together to kind of have the courage to go down the steps you guys went down.

John: What I can’t tell for sure is if you actually were doing the right idea.

In other words, something has to come all the way down, that is true, and you were reluctant to come all the way down, but at the same time your perception of what was coming all the way down is fairly linear. It was coming straight down the steps. It involved one boom, boom, boom.

And what you were looking to do was a process that was more spread out, in other words, a capability of riding, taking a ride on something, being carried. Ahhh, actually you were finding out that it doesn’t work that way – and that is correct.

You have to keep coming down, and you have to keep coming down, and you have to come down into life and there’s no such thing as being able to go off and think that something can carry you along, that as you come down you awaken to what you awaken to one step at a time.

And the other was a conceptual approach that had a bit to do with the idea that there was something that could just carry you along into it all. That’s a conceptualization I think that exists on this path, that everyone’s thinking there’s something that’s going to carry them along.

And like I indicated at the very first image you pointed out, it is a process and that process involves an involvement. It’s not something that you hang back and expect it to happen out of the blue, because that’s a taking and there is something rude about that.

There has to be a corresponding balance. And when you take one step at a time you come to meet and grips with things that are meant for you to understand. And, yes, that can appear linear, but then it does open up going through the depths of yourself because the chemistry of coming down is a feminine nature that’s expansive in a way that you wouldn’t ordinarily anticipate.

And it’s that kind of expanse that enables you to aspire to that which is being purported to have to come down so that the two can connect, alchemy again.

113528_900In this dream imagery, Jeane finds herself on a strange planet, with her family held hostage on another planet. As we are all the characters in our dreams, these planets and family members represent different aspects of the dreamer, the inner and outer self, the higher and lower self, and the relationship between the two. What is meant to happen is that these two worlds are bridged and become integrated. In that way we can become integrated with the whole of ourselves and the wholeness of the universe, (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: I barely remember my first dream, which seemed to be influenced by having watched Terra Nova on television last night because I’m on another planet. I feel more masculine than feminine.

And it feels like I’ve had to be a bit of a spy or betray something to the people on a further planet, maybe the first planet, because they were holding my family captive. So I just have mixed feelings about that.

That’s all I remember of that first dream. The planet I’m on is pretty lush and green, but I’ve had to betray some information because my family is being held hostage. So that’s the first dream.

John: Basically if you put that into motion, if you’re on a lush planet and another part of you is captive in another place, that other place would be like in manifestation.

And this idea that you’re betraying valuable information, because that part of yourself is caught or trapped in this other place, acting as if that’s bad is not necessarily the case because you can’t sit with and hunker down in this plushness of this other place in order to take in a fullness of yourself because you’re also in this other trapped place, so to speak, that is away from what you consider the ideal that is plush.

So you have to let go of that to some degree, or take and utilize that wealth or that place of completeness. You have to have the courage or the audacity to take that down into the place where something is lost, or hidden, or out of touch and make that knowable and available.

So what you’re describing is an aspect of how this works with the breath, that there is this place that is plush and is incredible, that is like home, that’s at the interval of the in-breath to the out-breath.

And in order to create motion, or a cycle of creation, you have to go down that breath and realize that the counterpart of yourself, in this dreamer state that is plush and wonderful, the counterpart of yourself is lost in this other realm where there are veils and you have to go down and make the connection. You have to bring from above down to the below, to this other state, or person, of yourself that’s the dreamed.

So you’re not really stealing a treasure. You may think that you are conceptually because the two places seem apart and it seems a little bit, according to concepts, even a bit blasphemous to think that the God head of yourself connects with the other part of yourself that is caught in a density. That in the physical, people even say you’re in a sinful condition and all of this, that, and the other, and so the two are not supposed to come together.

But it has to be so because this condition that is in manifestation was created in God’s image, and if it’s created in God’s image then that image needs to be brought through it so that it can know that for itself, or otherwise you have a split that has to be reconciled.

And what is interesting is that this reconciling is coming from a condition of plushness above, to a state below. It’s almost as if it’s coming from the interval where the in-breath turns to the out-breath, to the plight of something that is accentuated the most, and that there is a state of longing that pulls that magnetically, which is where the out-breath turns to the in-breath.

So you’ve created a mystical connection, and the alchemical component of that would be the breath heart that does this, in other words, the resolving of this area where you have this qualm that, can you do this or not? Or would this be stealing, or usurping something that shouldn’t be taken from here to there?

The resolving of that, and doing that, and finding out how to do that naturally so that the dreamer and the dream come together is the alchemical aspect of the dream. So that little image is pretty deep.

davidWhat does freedom of choice have to do with spirituality, religion, and God? One way to think of freedom of choice is to consider that everything has been created by something greater than ourselves, yet we are not enslaved to that greater power, we can do what we like. Still, it is part of our design to return to our creator, but we have to do it of our own free will. So all our choices matter. But the most important decision is whether we are living on behalf of something else, or for ourselves.  (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: So now comes something that is very similar to your knife thing that shows the two halves playing themselves out in the outer. And yet to begin with, if I hadn’t had this to realize that this was the motif of the theme of how a perception needs to be and that you catch up with these reflections.

Another way of saying it is, you have a dream body side of yourself, or a body of light, which is separate from your physical body, and in that is the dreamer. And the physical body of things that is the more slowed down manifestation part, is the dreamed – and the two connect. That’s another way of saying it.

So in this dream, because the setting is speeded up as a result of the influence of an inner vibration upon the scenario, it is not acceptable to carry on as if everything is as usual. In other words, you don’t reject things and whatnot. Everything is meaningful.

So in this setting there is a person who invites things to be thrown in their direction. Now is that a real person? Well, it’s kind of like a mannequin in the image of a human being. To pitch things out in the usual way would be unacceptable in this speeded up setting in which revealing something more is there as a potentiality.

In other words, you don’t just judge what is happening. Everything no matter how ludicrous it looked is depicting something. So to portray this, you know to further what this looks like, it’s like you have a mannequin that’s like on a placard or something, and it sits standing up just like a human being, and so you’re told that you have to throw these feathers at this mannequin. And to begin with, this is like stupid except there’s a difference in what’s going on.

The mannequin, because it’s on a placard, if it moves a little bit there’s a sticky side, and whatever you throw sticks along that side. And when the mannequin falls back, whatever you throw sticks on the other side. And so these are like projections in which you’re throwing something that’s like a feather-like object, very subtle, and then how it hits, it’s a little bit coming from the dreamer side as a dreamed effect, it’s a little bit out of your control because how do you… you know, it’s not like you’re throwing a knife or something which is very focused.

You’re throwing something that’s more like a feather, it’s more subtle, and yet it hits the sticky surface on the side of the body, first on the left side or then on the right, or however, depending upon how this mannequin is turned first one way or the other, and when it hits that subject it sticks out like a quill.

And so when the process is done, and the feather’s stick out like quills on each side of the mannequin’s body, how this is portrayed or what this looks like, what it appears to be in its random way, is most revealing. How the feather quills are lined by what seemed on the surface to be a totally random action depicts, revelationally, the end result indicates something most meaningful about the person who had thought his projections were of no meaningful significance.

The meaning is, is everything we do reveals something meaningful in terms of the aliveness of manifestation in every regard and, of course, an aliveness as a kind of “as above, so below” kind of way of being able to see it, the dreamer of the dream.

So what was set up was like a meter. In other words, it was like a type of gauge between the inner and the outer, which depicted the setting of a person in terms of consciousness and/or unconscious projection. This was possibly because the setting was speeded up so that the actions of a person in the outer spoke of the dreamer dreamed aliveness.

The results depicted in the outer were not meaningless coincidences. Thusly, that which reflected in the outer spoke of the way that the divine was coming into its world from within. The dreamed may not be fully aware of how this was designed, but a teacher familiar with this speeded-up inner process was able to see the revelational meaningfulness.

This is especially true for those who he works with in terms of awakening the secret substance in their heart. What that then reveals is reflective of how the divine is revealing himself. The divine reveals himself in the world in ways that are so wondrous that, for a person with eyes to perceive, this being the inner/outer teacher aspect of life, to step back and react reactively is not where it is at.

Instead you have to reflect revelationally. To not do this is to not respect the freedom of choice and think that something needs yet to be manipulated or changed, in some sense, as if there is an alignment problem. Such a conclusion would be an annihilation of the divine when it comes to situations like this.

That is why it is said that when the spiritual path has reached a certain point, that the human being yet doesn’t know what to annihilate, but both the wayfarer and the teacher can struggle with this annihilation business. You know, they can be off on what it is that they understand because so-called imbalances are not necessarily imbalances given the huge overallness of what God is. And everything is God.

And a human being reflects that so you never know for sure what to annihilate when you get to this level of revealing.
