5997_n2Things happen energetically before they happen physically. Much of what we see in the world today is the manifestation of new energies making changes in the world. And much of the stress and trouble that we see is because of resistance to the coming change. Change is always a bit scary, but it can be less so if we align our lives to the energies of the future, rather than cling (energetically) to the ways of the past. In that way, we can prepare ourselves for, and include ourselves in, the unfolding of these changing times. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: So the first dream I had was the teacher had gone in and had indicated and had pointed out that things are not as tough and as hard and as painful in life right now. They’re changing; we’ve gone through the very hardest period.

And in this hard period, of course, a lot of it may have appeared to us to have a lot to do with micro stuff that we’re going through, and changes that we’re going through, and things that are awkward in terms of how we’re able to handle it, and how things work out for us. And we’re inclined, in that regard, to look at it in maybe a bit of a personal context.

But some of it was outside of that personal context. Some of it’s of a macro type nature in terms of what is taking place, you know formulating. And the teacher indicated, okay, we’ve gone through this hardest period. And I actually understood that. I knew that this was the hardest period, and I actually knew this somehow because it resonated by something that I looked at about a year ago, or a year and a half ago. I’m not sure just what period of time, but I knew that this was going to be the toughest period of time, and then what was going to unfold after this period of time, from the standpoint of appearances, there’s a lot of change coming yet.

But from a standpoint of the bigger picture and the whole it’s not as crucial, or as critical. In other words, it’s like there’s a bit of a zeroing in that’s able to take place. Maybe that’s the way to say that, which means that there’s a greater focus as to what is real and what is unreal, and knowing how to not try to maintain, support, and channel one’s energy towards that which isn’t meant to be, which is unreal. And to use the energy more focused towards that which needs to be sustained and maintained. A a human being needs to know the difference, because he is that crown that channels this energy through.

So as the teacher explained that we’d gone through this roughest period of time, that created an inflection inside of me. I was very curious, and so I went back into the teacher’s dream, or his understanding of that, to see how that actually was. Because I know that there’s a whole lot more that’s going to break down, and yet I also know on an energetic level that there’s a certain relief that does exist.

In other words, it’s like there’s an acceptance to a certain degree that certain things are going to change and break down that there wasn’t before – and that makes things easier, which means that the human being’s attention then is more upon something else that needs to be sustained and maintained. You’re not going to do the work that’s required if your attention is wayward, and is upon things that are meant to fall away, because the energy has been pulled away from them.

So in the dream, I’m having to look at this. And what I’m doing is I’m perceiving that something is about to happen that cannot be averted. There is the belief that it is not going to be so bad, but there’s still something that’s going to happen. This all depends upon the way you perceive the outer motif. In other words, to really see what is going to take place, you have to know how to let go of that which needs to fall away.

It won’t be as pessimistic as I fear, what is going to take place. See, I’m looking at the energy lines, but is still going to breakdown in terms of the outer aspect of things. Things are still going to breakdown based upon the order of things as it stands, that we’re accustomed to seeing. What I see is there’s going to be a breakdown that is going to be effecting what everyone commonly sees, or recognizes, or takes into account as going on.

In other words, there is no way to avert the breakdown or the collapse of the economic systems around the world. That is deemed to be a given, and the inner and outer forces have come to accept this. In other words, they accept it because it’s an inner destiny, and the outer forces the energy has been pulled back so that there’s a hopelessness in that – and that isn’t what’s important anyway.

And that’s going to create a lot of confusion for people that are attached to that, but it is not the pressure, it’s not the issue, because where the attention needs to be placed, somehow or another, everyone feels in their bones that this is about to change. In other words, if this just had hit all of a sudden out of the blue, you’d have nothing but insanity.

But everyone somehow, in a sense, a lot of people have this sense whether they’re on a spiritual path or not, they have a sense that is resigned to the fact that the way things are needs to change and, in some cases, they even support the change even though it’s going to tear them to pieces in terms of their sensibilities. They still support the change because the way things are right now is too abhorrent for it to continue. There is too much abuse, and misuse, and imbalance in terms of what is meant to be divine and real.

John: In our last post we looked at a complex and interesting dream that Jeane described (see Trouble on the Way).

In it, she was struggling with protecting a woman (a feminine aspect of her) from her husband (the raw masculine energy in her), while trying to make progress along some train tracks (a spiritual path).

So as the scene begins, there has to be a grasp of the situation, and that’s where you start in the schoolhouse. There you come to understand things (school) and to what degree things are out of balance, or elusive (the surprise of the woman leaving her husband).

Now, there’s a certain protection in that space as it initially opens up. But when that protection is removed and you have to go out into the world on your own (you step out the school door), you quickly find that you’re no longer safe.

This is just like the opening scene in a play, because there are phases to this that are part of what’s evolving.

There’s a scene in which the overall scenario is not being fully appreciated, shown by the two men distracted by getting their pants altered. What that image signifies is, how does one “wear” the particular unfoldment? The masculine aspect (of those two men) is obviously not being attentive in the same way that your feminine aspect is being attentive.

That difference causes a kind of amnesia gap, but in another scene it’s recognized that things are on the move, and that those from the schoolhouse are now able to shift and go to a whole new place.

Then there’s the whole idea of whether all of this is happening safely, whether there’s protection for all this to unfold naturally. There’s something in your whole sense of things that isn’t properly covered.

In other words, how does the security exist in relationship to a number of things, and especially in relationship to this one woman who still has a shadow condition of things affecting her in such a way that she loses the balance, the protection, the way of feeling herself, in relationship to what’s been presented, or this attempt to awaken?

So you have all these different aspects emerging at the same time. You have an understanding that’s being brought through, and you have a protection within that process.

As a consequence, you have a shift in terms of things being able to progress to something more, i.e., the next destination. That’s the schematic, that’s how it’s supposed to flow. It’s like a three-step process.

The question is, is it complete? What about the woman (a feminine aspect of you) who has something going on that causes intrusions, in the way of the raw masculine energy looking for her and still trying to disorient things?

What’s the flip-side of that? The flip-side of that raw energy is something that has become almost too pacified, which appears at the end as a woman who has a gay husband, showing you that something has been left out. Something is yet askew.

You have the entire flow. You have a process all laid out, and yet you have these idiosyncrasies, these little complexities to sort out.

Jeane: I was feeling the feminine balance wasn’t quite there yet.

John: Well, is it the masculine/feminine? It seems to be shifting octaves between one extreme and another. In other words, it has a masculine with overly raw energy (the angry husband) that then becomes something that’s too pacified (the gay husband). It’s almost as if the middle ground is skipped.

There’s the process of unfolding (changing your lives) and yet there’s this part that‘s acting up, which has to be included somehow. If it’s not included, then you get something that’s too pacified because it’s missing that energy.

In other words, you can’t get where you’re trying to go without all of it, i.e., all aspects. So this shows that something is not being dealt with or taken into account. The understanding of how it needs to proceed is there, but the addressing of a certain kind of energetic that’s needed – that’s not quite figured out.

And how is this to be figured out? Well, the hint is that there’s some sort of fear that still exists. There’s some sort of reaction that’s still percolating in the background of what’s unfolding, which operates as a distraction.

Consequently the whole flow forward is jeopardized by these deviations, and that’s where the question of the protection comes in. In other words, you’re losing a kind of a cadence (you’re always trying to catch up), but still moving in a way that you need to move, but you have these issues to resolve.

The purpose and wonderfulness of a dream like this is to reveal to you that, in a process, there are things you have to be careful not to leave out. And you have to look at the attitude you use to solve them. I mean, you show a certain judgment toward the raw energy – of trying to exclude it.

But you have to allow a certain degree of that in and be okay with it because it’s part of the process. When you try to shield things from that energy, you end up trying to move forward in a way that isn’t quite right or safe.

So how does the process consummate itself, in terms of taking on the whole, so you don’t eliminate the raw energy of things or have a judgment or reaction toward it? Why would you have a judgment and a reaction to it?

Well, it would be because you have a belief or viewpoint that, somehow or other, it (the raw masculine energy) needs to change. But does it? Or do you (the feminine) have to change to accommodate it in some way? Because without it you end up with something that isn’t quite right. It turns passive, which implies that the kundalini energy, which is essential for truly going home, has been compromised in one way or another.

It’s an interesting dream, with a whole movie-like scenario to it.

John: It‘s hard for humans to look at events from a standpoint of wholeness, because of the seeming duality, where it always seems that someone has to lose in order for someone else to gain. It’s a fundamental misunderstanding of how the principal of energy works. Energy just exists – you don’t tilt one end of it into a higher wave than the other end. It’s tranquil and peaceful; trying to tilt one aspect higher than the other just creates unnatural distortions. And that’s what creates the overall disharmony we experience in the world today.

When one gets to the point inside where they can be in that tranquility, it’s quiet; it’s experiencing a deep level of the creator inside one’s heart. And at the same time one can work within the realms of the outer so that creation can respond, based upon the images that are constantly being streamed through and changed.

That’s where it’s described, for a Sufi, who begins to see humor in everything, because they know what’s really going on beyond the illusions. If you don’t recognize that, and you take things too literally, which creates separateness, you’re not actually participating in the universe any longer. You’re out of touch because you’re not speeded up like you need to be speeded up.

So this is what’s been going on with us. We’ve become more able to help usher in this new reality of inner awareness. Humanity was not meant to live the way we do, being tossed around and stressed by the events in life. At the same time, humanity is not pure light and isn’t meant to be that either. So for a direct connection with the creator, it still requires an ego because it takes an ego to live in the physical world.

Out from that ego come images – given to you by your physical senses while you are awake. When you dream, those images can be caught up to and reshaped, and then can come back into your waking life, slowed down again. So when something happens in the outer, we don’t fight it, we flood it with this quality of heartfulness – we create the mirror. So those images from the outer, they just die and fall away if they are not connected to the divine.

So this process brings in something that is felt and carried inside of each person as their own unique connection to the creator. And they themselves then have the ability to live in life with everything speaking to them – it’s an aliveness, or a dancing, or a rejoicing.

That’s what is meant for humanity to live equally instead of individually, to strive for spiritual gains instead of material gains. It’s an experience of oneness instead of an “us or them” distortion.

Taking this into an outer example, the present world economic crisis wouldn’t become a way for the public to subsidize those who have the power. We would use this as a way to transition toward the wholeness of a global family, not the haves vs. the have-nots that we have now. In other words, no bail out that doesn’t include all. There is no such thing as a “bail out” – it’s an illusory word, and it’s a dead image.

The new images for the future show what charity or compassion is all about, and what it has always been about, before it got distorted into a lifeless expression. So what I dreamt is what I find myself living and doing in the outer, when taken out of the literalness of the outer. It’s about changing the images from the inside out; from the plane of light that’s going real fast, right down into the plane of matter, that’s going real slow. If you use that which is going much faster to give that which is going much slower (as creation itself does) a tweaking, it can catch up, and change everything.
