Why do we dream? Well, first in answering that it’s interesting to realize that almost anything we can study will have a sleep phase (or a dormant phase). And that those sleep phases allow for a renewed energy in the waking phase – not even so different from the dormancy of winter and the bursting of growth in spring. And in the human, dreams help us sort out what we are processing energetically during the day, so we can awaken clean and fresh in a new start tomorrow. At our deepest levels, dreams also help us see where we are in relation to our purpose and direction in life, because our unconscious is connected to, and in touch with, our inner possibility. John: When you’re trying to look at what’s going on behind the dream, the vibration behind the dream, and you’re kind of like asking the question: what’s really going on here? And what is that soul element, or whatever it is, that’s trying to come into the light of day?

Initially, when you have a dream, it’s important to do as much honor and justice as you can to the vibration. And the dream itself helps you to hold the vibration or, otherwise, it would be too transcendent. And when you pull the vibration down and through, you’re not just catching up with your light, you’re catching up with the light of the world – and you’re permeating that into the atmosphere around you. And you’re developing more auric space and everything else.

And then that energy that is you then can drop certain defensivenesses that are a heaviness upon the heart and, when you drop that, then you find yourself putting the world into your heart, or you put everything into your heart. And your heart is that big. It puts the universe in, and that’s how it heals. That’s how it’s really affecting things; that’s how it catches up with the innerness.

And what makes the dream and stuff awkward for people is, most people, when they have a dream, they tend to want to associate it with a bad experience that’s triggered it, they tend to associate it with something in the outer. And so then they try to look at the dream in terms of an outer projection and, when they do that, they shut the dream process down because they’re not dancing with that inner divine.

And when you reverse that, and start dancing with the inner divine, then that gets excited and you’ll have a tendency to want to dream, or some part of yourself will throw this stuff more at you – almost, can you shut it off kind of thing, it can get that bad. And you’re protected to a certain degree from that as a kind of affliction, when you have moods, when you have a kind of amnesia.

But you start breaking the amnesia, and you start seeing what’s going on behind the equation of things, that’s when you’re actually changing who you really are. You’re getting to the point where you’re no longer affected by the synapses in your nature, so much, as something has gotten so subtle that it is picking up the vibratory wave action of the universe.

And we need these Aesop type dreams to be able to kind of catch up with it, to be able to inflect with, because the actual transcendent vibrations that just goes away. You have an experience of it, you can write it up, you can even have some insight, it can be kind of profound, but then when that state lifts then it doesn’t make any sense to you. But the dreams still do have something more to them.

And to whatever degree that one looks at a dream, and you’ll notice that however you look at a dream there’s always many, many, many more dimensions to it than what is portrayed. And what also is interesting is, first you take and you bring it into something like a depth with inside of yourself, as if you are catching up with your own light. And then ultimately you come to know that your light is also the light of the world, and ultimately then you come to recognize then that everything that reflects around you is correlated. And then you can then reach to the scenarios around you – but only after you have gotten to the point where you’re doing justice to the inner.

When you tell a dream, and as you touch something that’s behind that, then you’ll know where that’s coming from. And then at some particular point, depending on the quality and the nature of the dream, one could then probe at what the scenario is of the outer. All outer projections are limited by the depth of one’s faculties, you know their sense perception and how that equates into a certain mind – as opposed to a mindfulness that includes the whole in an intertwined way. But I know that in the greatest equation of it all the inner and the outer come together.

It’s just this really, really strange dance in terms of the veils that exist. The closest I’ve been able to come to seeing that is to get to a quietness in which there’s a sound of the universe, and yet that sound cannot be heard if there is a mind that’s still inflecting off of say vibrations off of your synapses or something. There actually is a sound in the universe, and I was shocked to find that out that; there is a subtler sound than a person is normally capable of hearing because they make a louder sound that takes center stage by their thoughts and stuff like that getting in the way.

And I was really surprised to see that. And that is the oneness to everything that they talk about because that then puts you in touch with the language of things around you, helps you to note that you’re part of a whole. You’re not somehow separate. It isn’t about you, it’s about the whole, and hones you to recognizing that because you can hear it.

And what you’re really hearing, if you could sort out what all is inside of all of that that you hear, what you’re hearing is the vibration so to speak of how everything is created. In other words, because it was created out of sound,, and you can kind of hear a sound, and then you know you’re intertwined with that because that’s you, and it’s in everything.

That’s the oneness; that’s more or less, then, manifestation. And then there’s even other levels of stillness.
