The Countdown

960x0As soon as something fulfills its peak physical formation, it begins its journey home – back to what created it. This doesn’t mean that being rejoined with the Creator is the next stop, but it means that it begins its path to transition – its journey to transformation. As humans, we are capable of many transformations within one lifetime, which can affect where we go, and what we might do, in the next stage of our adventure. John: So, in my meditation dream, the general statement about it is that everything there is, that lives and can be seen, is founded in the essence of stillness. And man has access to this overallness of everything, but has to let go of the choices he has made that are an identification that is outside of the stillness.

Everything that appears to exist lies outside of the stillness. That which appears to exist is an illusory projection held together by our need to identify. All projections are associated with the breath. In other words, they involve the breath. Maybe you could say associated, or founded, have an aspect of the breath. It’s almost the breath breathes everything into being – everything is created out of that.

So this is something I have been delving into more and more, in other words, looking at the quality of how the breath affects, or is the precursor to, is the means upon which, everything in manifestation… it’s like the vehicle to everything.

So last night, I notice that after a thought had come into a sight, in other words, first the thought doesn’t have anything about it that’s meaningful at all, then it takes on a sight. And then the sight is activated more because of more things that are happening, in terms of the motion for manifesting it, so it’s put into a flow. And, at some point, that flow then becomes actualized, like a movie, or projection, or even concretized in terms of there being a denseness of manifestation.

When it gets like that, to recognize the need to come out of the trance can start a type of countdown; I was shocked to see a countdown. In other words, when you’re traveling towards God on the in-breath, it’s as if a part of you is also letting go of the identification that had been in the other direction when you were coming in with just the out-breath. And so it’s like a countdown; it doesn’t mean you’re getting there. But it’s like a sense that there is something more – so it’s like a countdown.

By that I mean that when the in-breath is oriented to be a traveling to God, and a letting go of the pent-up moods, mannerisms, and atmosphere associated with the illusory projections of manifestation is starting to subside, or there is the recognition to abide in some stillness somewhere. It’s like you’re in a kind of a countdown towards that.

For each person it is different, but what needs to be dropped, or let go of, that is still caught in an over-expansiveness of moods, and things like that, values and such, on the in-breath is numbered before it goes completely away. The countdown, as a way of saying it, or image, as if there is a gap, or as if there is still something to be transcended. It’s not a gap; something to be transcended.

And yet it is kind of a transcending because that’s when you come to recognize that there’s the spaciousness of the in-breath coming out of a pent-up dense manifestation that is caught in a time orientation. And that the timelessness of the out-breath has to be brought into the spaciousness so that you’d have a result of emptiness, of stillness, and be in the face of the essence of the universe

I experienced this, in the meditation dream, upon letting go of the projections that affect my greater beingness, and just the mere letting go causes the stillness; there is the stillness, then, if you can truly let go.

So to let go of a projection invokes knowing that everything that I see, feel, and get into as a flow is deviation from the stillness. To have a reflective discussion about consciousness, taking the deviation, per se, traveling, as it does, or as it is trying to do, back to God, in other words, looking at it as at least having gotten to kind of an in-breath quality, a journey that can’t be made unless the timelessness of the outbreath goes through inner states of expansiveness, or spacious. And that the movement of that, traveling into the spaciousness, knowing that it needs to catch up with timelessness, is like a countdown.

What I learned last night is to let go of a pent-up amnesic unconsciousness is to let go of projective spells in my beingness. To let go is to break free of time and space as a boundary, and be in a timelessness and spaciousness that knows no time or space. I mean, it’s everything then.

Not enough can be said about the pristineness of stillness. For example, what we call the spirit of guidance is yet a self-limiting bifurcation from therein – because there’s no substance to that. There’s still a doingness, or an idea that there’s a doingness going on. There isn’t anything going on.

A Vision of Things to Come

FutureVision11Today we continue with the analysis of Jeane’s dream (see The Energy Interval). Though her dream image was a jumble, the possibilities of this new energetic realm she has opened up can take a person all the way to a merging with God. So while she is not quite there in her inner quiet or stillness, she has now gained access, and, with experience, can learn to not be thrown around. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

John: That’s interesting because the dream would be hard to make any sense out of, if you didn’t look at what it was doing from the point where it was at, and the reason why it’s important to notice and see the point where it’s at, is you can see the degree in which you’re steady in it.

In other words, it’s almost like there are little flashes that happened from there that must kind of hit something in creation. They’re kind of like precursor sparks because you’re jumping around in there.

And when you talk of auction in your dream, it’s an attempt to be able to denote it, or to see it, because this is something you don’t see, yet somehow you’re to see this. You see things in relationship to how there is the impact in creation and manifestation, and that somehow or another enables you to gauge or get a sense of what’s going on.

But when it’s way up there, how is it that you can get that gauge or that sense? It’s like you flicker. What would you call that? Like sun rays, it’s like they’re sparking off in some fashion, and that sparking off I guess is pent-upness. It hasn’t really quite committed itself as the will.

What’s interesting is this really, really pure light, if you were abiding in it in a really, really quiet state, would you be able to report anything? I keep thinking yes, that you can sit in this because somehow I think that this is possible, that you can sit in this interval and envision, pre the fact, in terms of incorporating or embodying that vibration, that which is there.

That’s the mystery here, if it’s totally quiet, if there is no thought or inflection of God that comes across as a will, how do you ascribe to anything? And yet the energy’s there. There has been the manifestation that’s created. There is a destiny for that manifestation, or an unfoldment for that manifestation.

It’s all part of some great plan, so even in the quietness it’s not completely quiet because that has a fullness of time already concocted to it, so in the quietness there has to still be an allowance for this, and that you can somehow detect that within the quietness.

That’s the one aspect of the quietness that took and did something so that there would be a creation. So when you’re in a quietness, which is a greater overallness now, in which the creation is just a speck and then you’re in the quietness, you become a visionary.

That would be what would be possible if you weren’t jumping around so much. If you were to sit in the quietness, more able to just be in the quietness, there still being that inflection in the quietness that has a whole process of unfoldment in relationship to there being the creation, which came out of that quietness, and that creation is still there as a speck in that quietness.

And so if you sit with the overallness of that quietness, you can incorporate from the space a vision that will enable you to see before it is seeable, before it is experiential, as the will.

Wow, that is a merging with God, to be able to do that. Ordinarily the comment is something like, you aren’t God, but you can have access to the will of God, or as that vibration comes down in and affects creation. And yet at the same time, you know that you have to say it that way because the audacity to say it some other way, like Al Hallaj did, you know where, I am God, or whatever, which is like a type of blasphemy.

At some deep depth inside of him, it wasn’t a blasphemy, but at a depth of himself in a waking sense state that’s a blasphemy. It’s because at some deep depth inside of him he could go to that point in which there was the quietness, in which he could have the vision of things to be.

And in that sense, yes, I am God. But in the sense in which he finds and orients and looks at everything as an aspect in creation, then he just is an aspect or speck in creation that has access to the will of God.

And so, you are in the point, which is a type of Traveling in God – that’s also what this interval is like, it’s a Traveling in God. It’s the in-breath. It’s the true home of the Sufi.

You’re pretty loud, is the problem. You’re pretty loud yet, in that. The quieter you could be, the more you can have the vision of it all, which is more like, then, an Al Hallaj thing. You’re a restless cat trying to see which way the inflections, and yet you’re busy guarding and looking at this auction of things to be.

But the importance of the dream is to denote, and start to denote, what it feels like from a top-of-the-breath way of dreaming. I find that actually kind of amazing that you dreamt it like that because now it proves that the feminine isn’t just sitting here taking the bombardment coming down from creation, or coming down from God or something, that the feminine also holds that quietness inside of her of the in-breath interval.

Yes, she’s associated, and more oriented, to taking all of the inflections and will that come down in a masculine vibratory sense, but she can knock it off if she can get still, and quiet, and quit zipping and zapping – stop the doingness. She can sit in that interval, too, and have the vision of things to be.

The Support of the Whole

Jeane: I had a dream in which I was a therapist, but I seem to be working in a teaching setting. I’m moving to Portland, Oregon so I’m in my room saying goodbye to one of my students who’s a little bit upset about it.

This student is a woman and I’m talking to her about what she could do next. I’m encouraging her to get involved in a group or to stay in touch with me; I like to know how people are doing and we’re talking about that.

In the middle of our talk, a male supervisor comes in my room and looks in the closet. He discovers a box of evaluation forms that he’d put there and forgotten.

It’s kind of an interruption to my conversation with the woman because he has this kind of attention-deficit thing going on where he has to look for the forms, and wants me to talk to him later, but he doesn’t have any boundaries about when it’s appropriate to come in my room or not.

Then he leaves and I finish the conversation.

John: This is a dream about being able to be at ease with all parts of yourself. It starts off with you saying goodbye and counseling the student. But actually you’re counseling part of your feminine self in terms of how it can stay in touch with a linkage it has made.

In other words, something is changing, i.e., the dynamic upon which there’s a connection has changed. It no longer needs the same closeness or proximity because another means has opened up by which it can be recognized.

In the beginning, it’s important for a student to get together with the teacher and spend time around and in the presence of them. A teacher has a certain kind of energetic that can come across, or be taken in, or recognized, or awakened in the student.

In the image this appears as if it’s coming from the teacher to the student but, actually, what’s happening is the interaction is awakening a quality in the student that’s been lost or dormant. All the teacher is doing is acting as a mirror to cause this to happen.

Once this awakening occurs, then the student takes on this trait or quality through which they can begin to see their self connected to something originally reflected by the teacher, but is now a part of the student’s ability or linkage from within.

Because the image shows you leaving the student, it also means that you’re able to stand more on your own feet because you have a connection inside that you know how to reach, and you can reach it now when you couldn’t before. You can now take that and extend it out, in terms of others, and recognize yourself in them.

It’s a very interesting dynamic when this part takes hold. You’ll notice, for example, in our dream group a person will tell their dream and they want it interpreted from the standpoint that it was their dream and it’s what they’re going through. The analysis needs to resonate with them. But it also needs to resonate with the people listening, because there comes a point where the dream and the entire group interaction is intertwined. It’s not something that stands separate.

For the longest time, that person is going to insist that this is their particular thing, and that it’s peculiar to them and, as a result, they’re going to be identifying and holding themselves separate from everyone else, as opposed to intertwined.

And the dilemma that exists is they’re still acting like they have to sort something out, rather than recognizing that they’re in all things or that all things are in them. That’s still a state of traveling towards God, which is different to traveling with God.

Your dream is showing you, in terms of an overallness, that you’re not limited now to a particular place or space that you have made a connection to, so that you can be somewhere else and it can be okay because you have the means by which to hold a support system, in terms of yourself, in the overall.

See, the overall is a support system. Generally, as humans, we don’t use the overall. We rely upon our own devices, separately, because we see everything as distinct from how we are and, therefore, we rely upon on our own wits and mannerisms in terms of coping.

That’s how we tend to see it, but when we get to the point where we don’t see ourselves as distinct and separate, then that’s the point where we have an inner connection that’s supported by its relationship to the whole, and that’s what it means to bring the inner into the outer.

We’ll continue this discussion tomorrow, in The Big Drama.
