The language of dreams has many ways to point out what is hidden in us, and to portray the depths within that we can explore. In this dream this depth is the size of a dinosaur, and the dreamer is chasing this inner depth. But, of course, when we discover something ancient, will we know exactly what it is, or how to describe it? And will we understand what it is telling us? This is part of the magic and mystery of our journey with the self. (At the end of this post there are instructions and a link to download this recording to your computer.)

Jeane: The dreams that I don’t remember as well, I just remember the themes. I remember I had an early dream in which I seem to be chasing dinosaurs.

I think that was followed by a dream in which I worked for a newspaper. And, at one point, I’m talking to a woman and suggesting she should have a second source of income, like Social Security, because when you work for a newspaper they just pay by the article that gets published, not by the amount of time that you put into it. That was all I remembered about the earlier dreams.

John: What you’re doing, even though it hasn’t flushed through, what you’re doing is you’re having to contend with an echo of how something is  – deep recessed within. In other words a quality of the way some sort of information comes across, so that it’s not hidden.

In other  words, there’s the dinosaur. The dinosaur, in other words, is the hint of something deep within, because it’s not around, or not existing anymore. And the newspaper, which is the dense aspect of how you report things, or see things, or conduct yourself in the outer, and then there is a whole other part of what is going on that’s behind all of that, that is the real food and source of energetic value, that is on a threshold of what it’s all about.

The dinosaur is just the inflection of something that goes way way back that can be brought through into an access. And the little short minuet that has to do with you’re talking to someone having to get a second source of income is an inference to a connection to this something that lies back and behind things as a source of greater value.

Because, in the outer sequence of things, just looking at how it is in kind of a black-and-white way, there isn’t the security in that because that varies and changes, it’s just in the outer. There is something deeper and more that can be found. So you’re hearing the echo of that, even though you don’t know what that’s about.
